(Yes he's so manly, they cast Justin Timberlake to play him!)

Beast Boy wiped his blood shot eyes and looked up at Raven. "Yeah I know its just..." he suddenly got very angry, a rage washing over him. "Why?! Why the hell is this happening!?"

Imprint watched the arguing two, staring at all the Titans. Even with the cloth pulled over the lifeless corpse, he could still recall the glazed over look in the boy's eyes. With every blink, the image was there, burned into the back of his eyelids. Here to help, pfft. He hadn't even stopped the first murder he was there to witness. Guilt washed over him as he fumbled with his calm ring. Brave bracelet, he'd have to get it later.
------
Kole couldn't help but be washed over with sleep. It was, after all, nearly 4 in the morning. "Good night, Melvin." she said, giving the girl a final squeeze before trotting off to bed.
------
Herald just stood there, unsure whether to go to bed or stay and comfort Mas.
-----
Pantha tromped off to bed. It wasn't her. She was safe. The murderer wouldn't come back twice in one night, so there's nothing to worry about. Right?
-------
Bumbleebee continued patting Mas. "It'll be OK." she kept murmuring, over and over. But she knew it wouldn't be. With Aqualad and Speedy's deaths, still burned into her mind, this was the third dath she had seen.

And she had a feeling it wouldn't be the last.
----
(Fast forward to next day?)

Alrighty...next day.

9 AM, morning after murder.
The weather outside has cleared, warming sun to dry the rain. But you can still find a puddle here and there. Few clouds drift in the sky.

The sunny weather outside did nothing to brighten some tightens spirits. While to others, it seemed to symbolize a better future. Bright start of the day, certainly there will be a bright end.

Kole, Herald, Pantha, and Bumbleebee gathered in the living room. Kole sitting, staring blankly out the glass side of the tower. Herald and Bumbleebee nervously chatting, while Pantha rooted around for breakfast.
-----
Imprint grudgingly lifted himself from bed. He'd need to get up and going eventually. The death still fresh in his mind, he opened the door outside his room. Hopefully there won't be a wolf outside this time. he thought jokingly.

Robin hadn't really slept, but had worked on the tower defences all night. Now if anyone set foot on the tower's little island... well they would be wishing they hadn't. He went to the living room to work alittle on the tower computer. With a nod to the others he sat down and started typeing.

Imprint grumbled into the living room, waving to all. Kole gave a nearly inaudible "Hi.", Herald and Bumbleebee pausing to wave, and Pantha grunting a, "Hello." Overcome with hunger, Imprint stepped over to Pantha. "Find anything?"
"Nothing good." came the reply. Peeking in, he saw the truth of her words. Instead, he snatched a banana and plopped onto the couch. Still half asleep, but awake enough to be aware of the tense silence. Oh well. He began eating.

Post by redeagle321 4/13/2010, 8:28 pm

Jericoh let out a sigh as he watched the morning skyline. Despite mornings mening to be bright and cheerful, the mood was morbid. Jericoh's mind was racing; if he didn't go back to get BB and Rae, he probably could have caught the killer ocming out...
but even then, what? Whoever it was had taken down a lot of powerful titans- Cyborg, Starifre, Kid Flash... whoever was doing it clearly was powerful. Could he have possibly hoped to take on the atacker, or would there be two tians buried today instead of just one? His mind kept churning like a storm tossed ocean as he continued to contemplate the nature of the atacker: Who was it? Why were they doing it? What was their motivation? Where would they strike next? When would they strike? How could they easily kill so many powerful titans? The list jsut went on and on...
[erm, was there going to be a funeral scene, or do we just fast forward past that?]

Jericoh's chaotic thoughts were interupted by Elvira's howling, and decided to check on her. He made his way down the hall untill he got to Elvira's room. He was quite suprised to see the wolf standing there, panting and growling evidently. Jericoh cautiously backed away, but didn't take his gaze away for a second.

'Jericoh.' Jericoh scribbled under it. 'You speak ASL?' He added. He figured if she did it would save him on pages in his notepad.

Jericoh couldn't think of a reply- he felt even more guilty than she did. He heard the murderer climbing, he should have stayed to stop them insted of running for help like a coward. Nonetheless, he tried to be positive <Don't go beating yourself up- no sense in crying about what has been, but use what has happened as motivation for what will happen. I'm sure we'll be able to stop this killer.> he signed.

<Pyshic powers- spirit control> Jericoh explained. He felt a little better about the newcomers, but he still kept vauge about the specifics. <How about you-> he funbeled for the right word, so he just wrote it. 'Lycanthropy?'

Post by Rinisa 4/15/2010, 5:36 pm

Imprint finished off the banana, tossing the peel carelessly in the trash. Turning, he saw everyone still immersed in hushed conversations or complete awkward silences. No way could he bother any of them.

At least, not one at a time.

Clearing his throat to get attention, he announced, "I can take something of your's and put an emotion in it to help you through this." Awkward silence and stares were his reply. Even Bumbleebee and Harold stopped whispering to gape at him. "Or not...."

Jericoh nodded, and followed Elvira to the common room, where Imprint was making his announcement. Granted, the idea of being able to use a household item to whisk his fear away was quite appealing, he wasn't sure if it would even work on him- he didn't have a run-of-the-mill mental system, after all. He looked at Elvira and signed <He a friend of yours?>

Imprint waved at Jericho and Elvira as they entered, pretending to be unfazed by the obvious embarressment. He sat back on the couch, took out a small rubber ball, and began playing catch with himself.

Imprint didn't take his eyes off the ball. Throw."You won't find anything good." he replied, catch, knowing fully well the question hadn't been directed at him. Throw.Catch. "Best I found was a banana." Throw. Catch. The simple act and pattern calmed him, removing any lasting embarrassment. The game was small, and required little thought, so focusing on the catching and throwing alone took his mind off everything else. Throw.

Catch.

Imprint, without taking his eyes off the ball, replied, "I would, but I saw some of your fleas on the carpet." Throw. Catch.

Imprint laughed, catching the ball and covering it with his fist. "Of course, they'd mistake the yin-yang guy for the dog, not the wolf girl. Notably, wolves are larger but..." he glanced at her, "You'd pass as a fat dog." He knew this was a low blow, and no way to treat a fellow teammate, but no harm in some teasing.

With a chuckle, he threw the ball back up and replied, "And, no, if you took the ball I'd stay. Can't get rid of me that easily."

Imprint blinked. How muscle got into it, he'll never know. "I'm admittedly flimsy, aren't I?" he agreed, already tiring of their banter. But, he inwardly sighed in relief, she hadn't taken anything too seriously. He threw the ball behind him. "If it looks so easy...

"Catch."

Imprint turned, finally looking at her as he brushed some stray black hair out of his topaz eyes. "You can..uh...keep that." he murmured. That was his favorite! He hadn't even put an emotion into it yet. But a mischievous thought came into his mind. If he was letting her keep it, maybe he should put something in it. Shame. Guilt. Perkiness. Insanity.

But they'd kick him out for doing so, so he just turned back around, and stared outside the glass wall at the grand tower view.

Imprint searched his pockets. Somewhere he must have another ball. Somewhere...."So...." he looked up to say, a determined grin gracing his features. He put his head back down and continued searching. C'mon....it was there....

Nothing.

He glanced up and shrugged helplessly. "I'll get another one when I head into town." With a slightly curious look, he saw her fiddle with the piercing and asked, "What's with the piercing?"

Imprint blinked, wary. The thought of putting metal in him never quite appealed to him, nor could he understand why anyone would want it in the first place. "Cool." He decided to start up the banter again, it made the atmosphere less tense. "Is that why you decided to dress up like Halloween is everyday?"
