"Understood." he muttered, though his leader would most likely only hear the Alarm, a reminder of Elyk's slight failure. In essence, it could be blamed on Slade. He had never mentioned a motion sensor of that kind to Elyk. Although, if the brunette tried to push it onto the masked man, this would only result in more of a thrashing than he was already bound to receive. The orange eyed youth darted down the hall, making it to the area Slade mentioned, panicking for the ladder. A gloved hand moved swiftly, its twin carrying the awkward device. Mr. Telos climbed this ladder much faster than he had climbed anything in his life; The clinging of his boots were repeating at the speed of 1/32nd Notes, and the tempo was only increasing.
Elyk's curiosity led to the Titans. He had always wanted to meet them, of course... Before he was in this position. Before he was a criminal. They seemed like an interesting group of people, and there were a few abilities they had that he didn't mind trying out. Flying had always been something he dreamed of. Elyk continued to climb the emergency ladders, sighing in his head that the object he obtained was found on such a low level.

History/Origins
As a child, Garfield Logan contracted with a rare and lethal illness called Sakutia and was cured by a serum created from a green monkey though the efforts of his parents. This serum had the unintended effect of turning his skin and hair green and gave him the ability to change into any form. However shortly after being gifted with his abilities a flood occurred and young Garfield was orphaned.
Having heard stories of The Doom Patrol Garfield sought the team out as a chance to do go with his abilities, and after he broke into their home base, and several long hours of the members failing at their attempts to capture the young shifter, Garfield joined the team and took the name Beast Boy. The Doom Patrol members somewhat adopted him, Elasti-Girl and Mento most predominately taking upon the duties of parents for the young boy. However, after a falling out with the team leader and his surrogate father Mento, Beast Boy left The Doom Patrol to pursue other interests.
Shortly after which he met up with the near-legendary Robin, who himself had just left his previous commitment with Batman in Gotham City. Beast Boy initially propositioned the hero for a team up but Robin declined saying he's "not really looking for a partner." Despite the fact that Garfield had intended to take the role of Robin's sidekick. Shortly after this encounter the two met with more young heroes and successfully thwarted an attempted attack by the alien race the Gordanians.
Shortly after which the Teen Titans were formed and Beast Boy became one of the principle members.

"Robbery downtown?" Cyborg asked, thick arms folded across his metal chest. "One of those facilities is storing some sweet new tech." He cast a side-long glance at their spiky-haired leader. "Gizmo's always looking for some new toys." He paused, hand on his chin as his half-robotic mind shuffled through a list of perps. "A lot of villains are, really. Think that might be the target?"

"I don't think Gizmo is behind this Cyborg. I pathed into the security feed and it shows some random kid running around the place." The Leader of the Teen Titans informed the team as they gathered around the mainframe. He turned off the blaring alarm and looked up at the map. "This happened recently, if we hurry we might be able to catch this tech thief. I doubt he could do this on his own, we'll have to interrogate him. Might be a lead to Slade." he said turning around to exit through the sliding double doors. Robin looked back at his team who was still standing there and he took a deep breath. "Titans, go!"

Orange eyes narrowed as the boy found a hatch at the top of the ladder. Even something like this had number-pads for pass-codes, scanners for palm-print-identification. Some heavy stuff. Since the alarm was already going off, however, there was no need for Elyk to go through that stuff again. A swift flick of the wrist brought the boy's blade through the metal plating. The brunette swayed out of the way of the falling hatch, the dense metals clattering down the ladder and eliminating the few guards that were following him.
A teen in a brown-and-black body suit emerged on the rooftop, red lasers from the guard's blasters narrowly missing his body. The boy grinned, his katana Entropy still in his grip. The sharp sword severed the ladder from the rooftop, the long construct crumpled into itself, falling downward, stripping concrete from the walls and floors. Elyk turned from the hole in the roof, thinking that his escape was now foolproof when, suddenly, he saw figures approaching, fast from the distance. Surely, those were the Titans that Slade spoke of.
"The Titans are closing in. Do you want me to give them a demonstration, sir?" Elyk questioned into the comm, his voice now much more calm than it had been a moment ago. "Or do you want me to retreat with my tail between my legs?"

History/Origins
A bald dwarf who flies around on a jet pack, Gizmo is a genius inventor who can turn seemingly innocuous objects like vacuum cleaners into dangerous weapons. Gizmo created a corporation which supplied technology to various persons, including criminals. Hoping to increase his wealth, Gizmo joined the Fearsome Five through an ad placed in the Underworld Star, a criminal underground newsletter, by the psychopathic criminal Doctor Light.
On the show ''Teen Titans'', Gizmo is one of the eager young recruits who excelled at the H.I.V.E. Academy. Along with his fellow cadets Jinx and Mammoth, he accepted a mission to destroy the Teen Titans. What Gizmo didn't realize however, was that the architect behind their mission was not really the H.I.V.E., but one of their clients, the mysterious mercenary Slade. Priding himself on his mechanical wizardry, Gizmo enjoyed taunting the Titans, particularly Cyborg.

Slade scolded, his tone sharp and his voice harsh and unforgiving.
But Slade wasn't about to have his deciple make a coward of himself. "Mereley, just give them a taste of what you can do." Slade said cryptically. True, he couldn't risk his student getting caught and blowing his whole plan to hell, but he was too prideful to have him bound off- a quick, brutal show of force ought to do the trick as far as he was concerned.
This plan was far too vital to Slade- he wanted his vengance, and he wanted it BADLY. He had a lot riding on this plan, and he took every opportunity to drill (or beat, more appropriateley) this into his students' head. He had never edjucated Robin of the specifics during his breif time udner Slade's tutilage- Robinw as a smart boy, he would peice the evidence together in good time.
And, of course, he wanted to be there when the titans realized that they themselves had created their own worst nightmare.

''Crud!'', said Gizmo in an excited whisper directed to no one in particular. I'll have to snag it another time, he thought to himself as the alarms in the facility blared. From the shadows, shifting his eyes almost catlike from side to side, Gizmo thought he saw a slender figure darting through the corridor north of him, but he decided that the identity of the unknown party was irrelevant at that moment. His fight or flight response had kicked in, and the latter was the more feasible choice. Counting his losses and keeping close to the shadows, Gizmo sidestepped past the corner of the hall closest to him and dispassionately activated his spider-like feature of his jet pack, crawling out of the facility as fast as he could.

Cyborg half jumped out of the T-Car, hitting the automatic locks as a reflex, just as his door slammed shut. The Titans were gathered outside the facility, waiting for orders from Robin as to the best course of attack. Cyborg glanced around the dusk-darkened area, human eye wary. "Anyone see him? I'm running a scan right now." His mechanical eye started taking the landscape apart, checking measurements and angles of the building's outcropping and roof slopes, calculating the likelihood of someone choosing each route of escape. Something moved across the far roof and his eye began tracking, taking guesses at height, weaknesses, and strength, based on the path he's chosen. "There, on the roof!"

Terra had been so pumped to be out there with the Titans, but she was starting to wonder when and if, she should get going with Slade's plan. Still as she jumpped out of the T-Car, she was ready for action. In fact as soon as Cyborg pointed out their target, Terra living up to her status as the Earth Mover, was flying off after him on part of the road. Bring this guy down, and I should have all the Titans trust that I need...

Confronting the titans head-on would only lead to a decisive defeat and ultimately land him behind bars again, so he decided to stay put for the moment...
Then he remembered: the prototype. Gizmo had designed a laser, a laser like no other laser. But it was not finished. The reason he made this late-night voyage to the facility was so he could steal the perfect device to upgrade his imperfect protptype. The most glaring imperfection of the prototype was its short range. But ''imperfect'' doesn't mean ineffective. It didn't mean it was useless. And that very prototype was in his backpack now. Keeping that in mind, Gizmo ducked down lower behind the trashcan, removed the prototype from his backpack and took aim, waiting for an unlucky titan to stumble unwittingly into the range of his prototype.

Flight: Which leaves a distinctive energy contrail behind, looking as if it is coming directly from her hair. Starfire has also been stated to have flown light years through space in short amounts of time.
Starbolts: The solar absorption experiments performed on her by the alien Psions granted her the ability to channel and project that same energy into destructive blasts called "starbolts". Starfire has the ability to unleash all her stored energy into a pseudo nova blast. It is suggested to be as hot as the sun itself.

Cultural Ineptitude:Starfire comes from an alien, war-like civilization, and as such many human customs are both strange and foreign to her. This being the case she is often dumbfounded by many social situations.

History/Origins
Tamaran's Princess Koriand'r was the second of three children. Her older sister, Komand'r proved unable to fly, so she was deemed not worthy to be queen and the succession fell to Koriand'r. When both sisters were sent to train with the legendary Warlords of Okaara, the bitter Komand'r ran off, allying herself with the Citadel. They used Komand'r's information to successfully invade the planet Tamaran. King Myand'r turned Koriand'r over to the Citadel to ensure peace. Koriand'r endured six years of torture until she and Komand'r were both released for experimentation by the Psions. Both sisters escaped, with Koriand'r finding her way to Earth with the help of the Teen Titans. She chose to remain with the team and took the name Starfire.
Psions, who are largely sadistic scientists, performed a deadly experiment on both of the sisters to see just how much energy their Tamaranian bodies could absorb before exploding from the overload. During the procedure, Komand'r's forces attacked the Psion ship to rescue her and while the Psions were distracted, Kory broke free with the starbolts, destructive blasts of solar energy, a result of the experimentation. Against her better judgment, she decided to free Komand'r who was still absorbing energy. However, far from grateful, Komand'r struck her sister down with the same, but more intensified, power and had her restrained for later execution.
Kory is regarded as extremely physically attractive even by the standards of the superhero. She also displays the traits of Tamaran's highly sensuous culture, coupled with a no nonsense warrior attitude. For a time, Kory had a career as a fashion model.

With ease, Starfire flew a few good feet above the roof. She liked the advantage of her height, the better view she had on the team and her opponents. Gizmo went unnoticed behind the trashcan, her attention instead drawn to Elyk. The newcomer. Why did it appear they had more enemies every day? Why may we not all be friends? The alien thought, tight-lipped and hands giving off a familiar green glow. Without giving it much thought, she drifted closer towards the others and, unwittingly, into Gizmo's range of the laser.

Elyk looked to and from his latest opponents. The darkening of sunset would could be hiding his colors very well, but he was certain that they knew exactly who he was working for. Orange eyes targeted them one at a time. Extending his inner presence, attempting to grasp their aura's for himself. His clockwork mind whirred into action. If he tapped into Raven's aura immediately, it she would obviously gain access to his mind, she would know what he could do, and ruin the surprise for everybody. What fun would it be then?
The Empath copied two abilities for the time being, then turned to stare at his opponents. Four of them? Two were missing. What a shame, Slade's favourite would be missing out on the demonstration. Elyk waved his arms, his palms now glowing a light yellow. Chunks of the cement roof up-heaved at his command, flying at the blue-robed
Slade's apprentice leaped into a backflip, probing the Tamaranean's mind for the workings of her abilities. Memories of his closest friend swiftly became fuel for flight, and his anger towards Slade turned to a vibrant orange glow from his eyes and hands.
"Hello, Titans." Elyk mocked with a grin. The boy blasted orange Starbolts at Cyborg and Terra, then flew at Starfire fists-first, unaware of Gizmo's laser.

Gizmo had the perfect shot--Starfire was a sitting duck--but when he noticed the mysterious boy throwing orange energy balls and rushing in on her, he decided not to interfere. Aww, let those snot-munchers go at it, he thought to himself. I need to beat it before security shows up.
Gizmo was about to depart from the scene when he heard a low, menancing growl to his left. He turned to find he was face-to-face with an emaciated doberman with a mangy black coat. It was bearing its teeth at him and he could smell the rotten scent of garbage. Gizmo backed up as the dog advanced on him. Reacting on impluse, he threw up both hands and used his laser as a shield from the oncoming bite. The dog's fangs latched onto the laser with what seemed to be superhuman trength. Gizmo struggled with the dog, trying to get his latest intstrument of destruction out of the dog's mouth. After a few seconds of tussling, Gizmo managed to yank the laser of out the dog's mouth, but he pulled too hard and the laser flew almost like a frisbee 9 feet away from him and landed with a clatter on the trashcan he hid behind. Tired of being powerless the entire night, Gizmo struck the dog on its mouth with the ball of his foot as hard as he could. It yelped and took off in the other direction, tail between its legs. ''Get outta here, ya mangy mutt!'', declared Gizmo. He then turned to nab the laser and take off. The laser sat on top of the trashcan. But there was something strange about it. Gizmo noticed that the laser somehow landed diagonally upward and was glowing. Gizmo was dumbfounded for a second, then he made a horrible realization:
ITS ABOUT TO FIRE!!

Cyborg glanced over at Raven leaving the scene, then steadied his cannon with his spare arm, trying to train it on their rapidly-moving new adversary. The attack he'd just weathered was almost like getting hit with a Starbolt during sparring practice, but it had been more intense. The spot on his armor that had been hit was dark with smoke, and he was itching for a chance to return the favor. His robotic eye was tracking the graceful villain as he surged with the battle around him. Cyborg knocked his laser's intensity down a notch and fired.

A loud grunt escaped Elyk's lips as he was knocked off course. Cyborg's Sonic Cannon, even on a lower level, still packed a punch. The fledgling-flyer was now over twenty stories from ground, looking straight down. Swift instinct reached for his sword; The happy thought that fueled his flight had vanished. The brunette closed his eyes and envisioned his next step. Several of the bricks in the building flew outward with a wave of his glowing yellow hand. The boy pulled his sword from its temporary place in the building as he started to rise. Elyk hovered back into view, clinging onto a floating brick. The Aura Thief uprooted more of the building's structure, spewing dirt, dust and rock at Starfire and Terra. The boy swung his body forward, preparing to strike back at Cyborg, curious of Robin's whereabouts..

All Gizmo could do was watch with rising horror as the laser geared up to fire. He didn't think it could get any worse. Until he saw Raven's shadow descending on him. ''Crud!!!'', said Gizmo, looking back and forth between Raven and his laser, which now had a bluish-green glow emanating from its mouth. Backed in a corner, Gizmo decided it was time to get on the offensive. He reached for the laser and pointed it directly at Raven. The laser fired with a defined, whooshing sound.
