The ashes of Eden[closed]

(Waiting for others to post. Meanwhile... AB! CHATBOX! :D lol)

"Apparently Wonder Girl wants her over here for training." Robin responded. He coldly whispered Wonder Girl's name. Robin straightened up. "We can assume you have control over your powers Atlee?" he asked.

(I would post, but I'm trying to figure out why Bumble Bee would be in the city...*wondering*)

'Donna,' Starfire thought to herself. (...unless we're talking about Cassie. O_O) "I see," she mumbled. She looked at Atlee, waiting her answer.

"Of course I can control my powers!" Atlee proudly replied. "But you have all the training equipment. Much better equipment than I have anyway. And even more experience, too. I just want to train, get stronger."

Beast Boy lept off the couch and stood in front of Atlee. "Hi! My names Beast Boy! Nice to meet ya."

(umm.. short and crappy... I need to get back in the RPing groove O_o..)

Finally! Somebody in a good mood! Atlee thought to herself. "Nice to meet you, too. I've heard you tell hilarious jokes. Can't wait to hear some." In truth, everybody had warned her to beware Beast Boy's jokes, but they had to be better than the ones they had in Strata.

Cyborg was watching the scene warily; how he reacted depended on how his friends did, Beast Boy in particular. If Beast Boy didn't like this new Terra, Cyborg wasn't going to buddy up to her. But, as his friend jumped at the new girl with his usual level of enthusiasm, Cyborg decided she must be all right.

"Hey, little lady," he said with a warm smile. She seemed to have gotten the cold shoulder so far, and he and Beast Boy were going to make up for it. "What brings you way out here?"

"The Titans, of course." Atlee returned Cyborg's grin. From what she had heard, he was very kind and funny. Maybe she'd fit in after all. "You must be Cyborg, right?" She was positive he was, seeing the mechanical parts, but probably be politer not to mention those.....

"So.." Robin said returning to his paper and flipping it open. He crossed his legs and rested them on the table. "Wanna get something to eat first before we get you on the course?" He asked grabbing his orange juice.

"As long as it's not sushi..." Atlee replied, thinking of the very first earth food she had tried. Her stomach gave an audible growl. "Guess I'm hungrier than I thought." she laughed.

"Fridge is open." Robin said pointing to it, "Make sure its dead before you eat it." Robin said remembering the day long ago when Starfire blasted the fridge because she saw a blue figure move. He sipped his drink quietly.

She opened her eyes. Where the heck was she?
When she wanted to sit up straight, Blackfire felt a stinging pain
in her back. 'Damn.'
She decided to lie down. Blackfire didn't remember anything.
Well, anything.. She remembered her fight with the Titans, and after
that, she chased Starfire, but after that.. nothing.
One of those kids must have hurt her.
Blackfire was sure of one thing. She had to recover fast, otherwise
she wouldn't survive.

Atlee chuckled. "Good one." When nobody else laughed, her eyes went wide. "He is joking, right?" Shaking her head, she tentatively neared the fridge and poked her head in. Hungrily, she snatched an apple and began munching.

"He never jokes." Beast Boy said as he headed into the kitchen. "He's just like-" he saw Robin giving him a dirty look. "Uh.. nevermind." and he ran back to the couch and plopped down.

Robin lowered the newspaper, unamused. "Just like what?" Robin asked him, his eye twitching

Atlee munched in silence, as polite. Power Girl had regretted to mention the wacky cast of characters on this team. So far she has taken:
Raven as quiet and thoughtful, intimidating a bit as well; Robin as dead serious, all the time; Starfire would take time to build up trust with; Beast Boy was a regular goof ball; and Cyborg seemed kind and OK.

"Do you really want me to say it?" Beast Boy said smirking back at his leader.


(I mean Batman O_o)

Robin slammed the paper on his table. He wasn't having a good morning. No crimes made him feel uneasy (true there were days when nothing was going on in the first place, but still he knew something could happen at any moment; the crime rate has dropped over 90%), The whole Wonder Girl deal, and if Beast Boy was going to start acting up.... he had no time for an attitude. "You've got something to hide?" He asked.

"Nevermind!" Beast Boy said before changing into a parrot and flying onto the top of the TV.

Robin flipped his paper back up annoyed. He read the headlines "Titan Heros" and sighed. Looks like our golden ages has come to an end. he thought.

In no time at all, Atlee finished her apple. Delicious. After finding the trash and throwing out the apple core, she turned back to the team. "Am I, uh, allowed to start training now?"

Cyborg laughed and shook his head. "If you're really not sure if it's dead, just microwave it for a little while." He glanced over at Beast Boy. "And watch out for the tofu, THAT STUFF'S NASTY!" He looked surprised at her question and shot the leader a look. An obsession with training was not a good sign.

"hey!" Beast Boy squawked and lfew down in front of Cyborg. "Tofu isn't nasty! Its good for you! Unlike those poor animals that you eat!"

Atlee's curiosity was now aroused. "What's...tofu?" That was a food Power Girl had not shown her. "Is it good?"
