"I think it's bad." Batman replied to Batface immediately after he asked. "So there must be something else underneath the subtext. Thorne was obviously lying. If I had a little more time with him he would have talked. There's a reason they don't want you running out in the batsuit anymore, Batgirl. We have to work on a hunch, and that's all detectives do. Work off hunches. That's all that Thorne wanted you to do Slade?" He continued the interrogation.

"Don't call me that! That's not who I am!" Karmy hissed and stepped back a little as Harvest came into full view. Damn that thing was huge! "That's you baby?!" she asked. "Man, what did you f--k to come out with that? You make a horrible mother." she snapped her fingers and portaled behind the.. plant.. thing, taking a swing at it with her pickax. It probably wouldn't do much good, but Karmy needed to see what this thing was capable of.

Harvest swiftly recoiled from the blow, losing a vine but quickly growing it back. It's disembodied "Hand" squiggled on the ground, one end reaching and attempting to coil around Karm's ankle.

"I'm a horrible mother?" Poison Ivy repeated, raising an eyebrow. She pat her Harvest on the head, a sign of affection for it's actions. "I didn't know you knew anything about being a mother, Quinn."

"He might have told me more. Then again-" Behind his back, Slade hand squirmed enough wiggle room to reach his power lance. with a swift motion, he effortlessly soldered out of the cables. "-it's not like I intend to tell you." Slade hissed, gripping his weapon defensiveley. He knew that if he couldn't even handle Batman alone, the three gathered before him would be a challenge.
Sounded like fun.
"Tell what the interest is- what else has big bad Thorne been up to?" Slade asked, not taking his eye off of any of the bats, not even to blink. Oh he knew a beatdown was coming sooner or later, but Slade wasn't intending to hold back. He had gone in to fight Robin in the machine- to whittle his esteem and to enrag ehim so his movement was muddled. But Against Batman, Slade was ready to plug the stops..........

Karmy crushed the squiggling mass underneath her foot and kicked away the remains. "Well, for one, using your 'baby' to kill and attack people is not very motherly. That one's just kinda obvious." she took the pick ax, swung it and let go, sending it hurtling towards the monsters head. "I know just enough from my own mother!"

"You're not getting away this time Slade. You're never going to slip out of my fingers again. You run and we will find you." Batman assured getting into fighting stance with Batgirl. "What his concerns are for us has nothing to do with you." Batgirl added, her hand itching to a batarang.

Harvest managed to catch the axe by it's handle, slowly chewing it. It turned into mush in his mouth.

Poison Ivy's lip curled, "You're the one who started the fight." She pointed out, petting Harvest again. He burped, the remaining steel blade of the axe slipping out of his mouth, drenched in green drool. "Did I mention he uses some of the toxins I use?" She asked, pretending to think about it as she tapped her chin. "That would explain how easily he ate your axe, wouldn't it?"

Slade squinted. "Of COURSE I won't slip through your fingers- I don't inted to leave that much of you if you try to stop me. I don't intend to ask again, why so interested?" Slade asked, edginess in his voice, waiting for the Bats to make the first move.........

"You started all this two weeks ago when you kidnapped me you psychotic sonov-" Karmy jumped on top of a nearby dumpster to get a better view of the situation. "and yes, I count is as kidnapping." she announced, pulling out another Molotov cocktail and lighting it. "And the same chemicals, eh? More flammable is all I heard." and she threw the bottle at the base of Harvest.

Slade took great delight in sidestepping Batgirl's kick- and delivering one of his own that plowed her into the very lightpole that he had been trussed around moments ago. "Temper temper, my dear." He taunted. He knew, if anyone, he could at least goad Barbara to anger. He maintained a densive grimp to attack if Barbara came for another rush- or any of th eother Bats for that matter......

"Batgirl! What we practiced!" Batman said running into a 360º jump spin-hook kick, Batgirl nodded and gave a battle cry as she preformed a sweep kick under Slade's feet, if they were lucky, they'd knock him off balance.

Poison Ivy let out a high pitched squeal as the flames erupted in front of her, she yanked Harvest away. She tried to remember, had she merged cactus DNA into Harvest, to protect him from heat? The answer was in front of her, but she couldn't quite grasp it. Better safe than sorry. She decided timidly, arming herself with her arrow launcher (Like in B:TAS) and firing a poison tinged silver arrow at Karm. Careful to keep Harvest behind her.

Karmy saw the arrow and tried to portal out of the way, but it embedded itself in her on her right shoulder before she fell all the way through. "Gah! Dammit!/' she stumbled on her landing and dove for cover. "Crap.. Ok.. Way in over my head now." she reached into her bag with her good arm and flipped on the distress signals on all the comms. "Y'all better hurry." she pulled her hand out and reached to pull out the arrow. But something was wrong. She felt extremely dizzy and her vision swam greatly. The arrow must had been poisoned. Slumping to the ground, she tried to move but couldn't.

Ivy's com. beeped. "It's Karm." She announced, before Zero even had the chance to speak. Her tone was evidently worried. "She's in trouble."

Poison Ivy saw the slumped figure. As she saw it, she could kill the girl and escape by the skin of her teeth, or leave now in complete safety. "Oh, what the hell." She decided, gingerly stepping around the remains of Knightmare's corpse and nearing Karm. "Harvest...Dinner." She hooted, her child tentatively beginning to lick Karm's arm, soaking it in an acid that must have burned to the touch.

Slade wasn't about to let them dupe him with some fantsy wondertwins move- it wasn't going to be this easy, not THIS time. He had suffered humilating loss after humiliating loss- slave to the black hand, degraded groveling as a spider, humiliated in fight after fight, and he didn't intend for there ot be a repeat, not now. Using the blasterstaff as a vault, he launched himself out of the path of the attack. With the same launching motion, he left a grenade where he had been- right in the middle of Batman and Batgirl as it violently exploded......

Batman threw his cape over Batgirl, though it was fire retardant and absorbed most of the impact it didn't mean the grenade hurt. It threw Batman into a concussion and pushed the two a good ten feet away. Batgirl got up. "Oh sh*t! Batman!" She tried shaking him awake.

Slade didn't intend to give the two a moment to spare- he lunged with his sword drawn. However, Batface blocked him with his sheild- cape. "Get him out of here, Slade won't hesitate to finish him off! NOW!" Batface barked to batgirl as Slade remoselessly hammered at Deant, whom was soreley outclassed compared to Deathstroke's vast physical prowess......

Karmy's vision was foggy and body was weak, but that didn't mean she couldn't feel pain. Screaming in agony at Harvest's acidic saliva, her flesh sizzling and bubbling, she tried to move away from the monster.

Batgirl desperately picked up Batman, and began dragging him away. "Oh god, Alice better not be watching me and making some sex joke." Batgirl grumbled sarcastically as she pulled him out of the room and onto the streets and over to a dark dank alley way.

Zero was concerned- who knew what trouble that cousin of his had gotten into. Sure enough, he felt the spacial pulses- and they were right fould. Karmy was in MAJOR trouble. "We don't have time to mobilize 15 something superheroes, the three of us should be enough anyways." he said, growing suddenly very concerned........

Slade saw the bats retreating. He wasn't going to let them retreat, not this time. He didn't have time to waste on Dent, and bsed heveral knives to pin him to a wall by his suit and he quickly closed the gap, approaching Batgirl and the prone Batman. "Ohhhh, I've waited YEARS for this! And ot think that was originally jsut an interrogation. My how the tables turned on THIS one." He gloated, bloodlust dripping in his voice, griping his sword hatefully. It took him seventeen years to get to this. He planned to take his sweet time and savor it......

Poison Ivy began to cough, she stepped back and Karmy's body was suddenly yanked quickly. "Get up kid! The hallucinagin might spread to you too if you don't get the hell up!" The Scarecrow dragged Karmy away from Harvest and Poison Ivy, not sure how well it would affect her. "Everyone has a chance right?" He asked picking her up and running. Thank god she was only 5'5" and only weighed so much. Karmy's bag dangled around her neck as he ran. Hopefully no heroes would show up and mistaken him for kidnapping her. Hopefully.

Batgirl shielded Batman as best she could. He was too heavy for her to pick up and make a mad dash for it. Not that Batgirl couldn't pick up Batman, its just running with him would cause a problem. She might trip over his dangling cape, or she might lose balance. All she could do was stand her ground until he woke up. "Get away!" Batgirl nearly begged. "You'd better not even touch him!" She warned and clutched onto Batman. He did an excellent job in protecting her from the grenade... But at what cost? The sheer impact of the explosion made Batgirl's nose, ears, and mouth fill with blood. She didn't even know what was truly causing it, all she knew was that Batman had it worse.

"Jon..a..than..?" Karmy looked up at the blurred figure as she passed in and out of consciousness. Her arm burned red from Harvests acidic saliva and the arrow was still lodged in her right shoulder. "Been... poisoned.." she informed him. "Heroes are.." she breathed out as her eyes started to close. "They're coming."

Slade laughed, cruelty infesting it. "Pleas emy dear, you're HARDLY in a position to argue." He said, advancing ever closer. "Oh don't worry, I'm not going to kill either of you." He sneered, now within striking distance. "Oh don't get me wrong, I plan to really HURT both of you. VERY badly." He said, now within striking distance. "Now get up- if I'm going to maul you, I want to at least feel like I had to TRY." He sneered, feeling like he had already one.

Batgirl hesitated, but she set Batman aside and stood up in fighting stance, she blinked blood and quickly wiped it out of her eyes. It took effort standing in front of the man once again, it took courage to look him in the eye.

Scarecrow cussed under his breath. "I'm going to take you to my place, I've got chemicals that I could try to formulate to make an anti-poison. I just have to know what she poisoned you with. That and we have to avoid your friends." Scarecrow explained running down the streets. Police sirens filled the air. "Aww crud." He muttered and jumped through a window into a broken apartment still carrying Karmy.
