(The earthquakes resumed)

I laid down to the ground shifting my weight over so i wouldnt slide from place to plsce.

Zero ran down the hall, the rest of the others in tow. Eventually, they came to a massive room, a large generator in the middle, surounded by what must have been a good 20 feet of heavily tinted plexiglass. It didn't take a genious to realize the dark tinting was probably lead to keep radiation out. And what was worse, there seemed to be no controls to safely shut it off on their side of the wall. "Oh dammit, what do we do now?" He asked out loud.

Sky, with her werewolf tongue flapping, barked and stood on her hind legs. She went over to the plexiglass and made a motion suggesting that she wanted to punch it.

Zero shook his head. "This stuff was amde to not break easily. And even if it did, the radiation would probably kill us all rather quickly... unless..." he began to think to himself. "Stand back, I have an Idea."

Sky slashed at the glass leaving a nice sigh that she was there and stepped back and changed to human. "Good, I'm to full to attack right now."

All of a sudden, crimson appeared at Zero's side with a red energy blade potruding from his wrist. "need help?" Crimson asked. And the massive swarm of thugs pouring out of a nearby corridor instantly answered his question. "What do you think?" Zero replied. It was then both Zero and Crimson Jumped into the massive group and thugs started flying left and right. They kept fighting untill a heap of about 60 goons, Crimson estimated were laying at both of their feet.

Zero took a step back. He knew the mvoe would be risky, but he ha dot chance it. Using his powers to the max, me manipulated hte thick plexiglass, and a hole opened. The toxic radiation began to pour out, but Zero funeled it all at himself. "Go, shut it off!" He shouted to Sky.

Sky raced into action. Claws and fangs out and tearing at the mechine. Sparks flew and a sound fom it told everyone it was down. Changing human sparks danced in her hair. "Whata... rush!"

Sky was succesful in absorbign the radiationf rom the machine but, Zero was poisioned from absorbing all that radiation, his skin a sickly yellowish color. 'Get... us... out of here." He managed to say to Rift, his body feleing like it was dipped in acid.

Rift nodded dutifully, taking quick strides forward and placing his hands on Sky and Zero's shoulders. Mimic raced to grab his arm before they dissappeared, and then, they were gone.

The others seemed to be having their own troubles, but Zero collapsed the second they were top-side and everyone seemed to drop what they were doing and stare at him.

Rift, on the other hand, wasted no time in grabbing the plant kid and hoisting him into the air. "Is she all right now?" he demanded.

(I'm not sure if she is, so, Charm, if I need to I'll just send Rift on another murderous rampage down there til he finds the mind reader.)

(Well, the telepath hasn't been killed, sooo... I don't know xD, maybe it should only be half as strong now that the telepath is distracted by what happened?)

"Look for yourself!" Matt said, pointing at Emily who was waking up. She leaned up on her elbow, clutching her head with her other hand. "oww... my.. head.." she mumbled to herself quietly, "Matt, are you there?" she asked, growing frantic. She stood up quickly, nearly falling over from dizziness. "Where.. where is everyone??" she asked, moving her arms around her to feel. "Emily, I'm right here!" Matt said as he pushed himself away from Rift, and ran over to her.

Though he was smiling brightly, happy to see her, her face was pale and terrified. "What's wrong?" he asked, "It's over now." The little girl shivered violently, then lifted her hands to feel Matt's face. "No.. it's not over" she said, tears beginning to fall, "I.. can't sense ANYTHING..."

Sky rushed over to Emily. "It's gonna be ok. You are blind, so maybe fate has a new plan for you." She said trying to help but she had a feeling that it was failing.

Rift scowled. "That's it. I'm going back down there. Whatever this is, it started when you guys exposed the facility. I'm willing to bet whatever's messing with her is down there." He looked around at the new-age Titans, the look on his face daring one of them to try and stop him.

(I'm not sure if the characters know yet that it's a mind-reader, so if they do, tell me and I'll fix this.)

(Karma, this would be an excellent time for you to come up and remind everyone that he is still a villain, and letting him go now might mean he slips out of their grasp for quite some time.)

"Oh no Mr.Sly-guy. Your going to jail as soon as this is over with." She stood up and walked over to him. With vampire speed she grabbed his arm, "If you go back down there, I am. To make sure you make it to jail or just so I have a snack..." She was really full, but he didn't need to know that.

Rift let out a humorless laugh.

"Whatever. I'll go to jail, but not until I've seen this through." He smirked. "No promises on how long I'll stay there, though."
