I want to improve on my art, and what better way than to ask the best artists I know for tips?
----
Here's that schoolgirl from Things Change. Early sketch, I actually think it's my best.

Another early sketch of Starfire throwing starbolts.

This would be Rose W. It's based off of this, for the record.

Jinx, I've found, is fun to draw. Drew her once. Then twice in over anime style x]. Then having a bad hair day.

Raven, plain and simple.

Kitten, looking psychotic.

And some freelance titans: Kole, Argent, and Jericho. I messed up Kole's eyes, and out of these, Argent is the best I think.

I drew Poison Ivy several times, based off her BTAS revamp look. They didn't come out too well, but here is probably the best one.

Lastly, I was practicing anime. Girl with headband and creepy girl. Yes, creepy girl is staring at you.

Sorry for cruddy quality, all pictures were taken by my phone. =T

Well, I usually stay away from this side of the art world, so I'll probably not be very helpful.

The two problems I'm noticing, which probably explain the idea that your drawings look "cruddy," are mainly with your eyes and curved lines.

You seem to be having trouble getting the eyes to look the same, which is honestly most of why I don't draw faces on my characters. All I can suggest is drawing a little larger, and drawing a pair of (light, erasable) straight lines to give yourself a guide. That'll help make them look the same.

As for the curved lines, try drawing them lighter, and more of them. Then you erase to get the curve you want and go back over it... if that makes any sense at all.

Really, those are both problems that I still have. Sorry to not be very helpful. Someone more experienced want to jump in here?

Eyes are difficult. I'll keep what you said in mind, thanks Sempai!

Haven't posted here in awhile...

*Cough* One of my first few attempts at full body (Yes, I don't like all my pictures to be floating heads) and I'm only really happy with how Speedy's fingers and Cheshire's outfit came out. Cheshire is blurry, very very blurry. I'll retake a clearer picture later.

Abby's Art 98996fb53d

It's Canace/Blizzard! Sorta!

It's her poorly drawn basic costume design. And the picture is crappy because I have a new phone I am still trying to figure out how to use.

Abby's Art D440427495

And Can's sister, Calantha/Heatwave. Also a poorly drawn basic costume design taken by a crappy phone camera.

Abs! Wish you had gotten that to me earlier. I had pictured something completely different in your descriptions so this really helps, if you think it's crappy or not. I'll try to come up with a really large NG Wallpaper with all our characters on it :D

try not to push too hard on the pencil and make thin lines as a guide when drawing then when you like what you have go over them with the pencil and darken them

i love your art(better then i can draw)
