My TT stories.

Here are links to the Teen Titans stories I've written over the past couple of years, in the order in which they were written. I hope you enjoy them, but I look forward to hearing your thoughts and opinions on them even if you don't.

Snow
This was my first Titans story, and is set between seasons 3 and 4. The Titans travel to the Rocky Mountains in pursuit of a villain who isn't quite what they're expecting. There is some DARK stuff in this one, so consider yourself forewarned. Complete.

Afterthoughts
A very short one-shot set after the end of season 2, in which Raven reflects on Terra's behavior, betrayal and sacrifice. Complete.

Slash
Short comedy one-shot in which Robin and Starfire encounter one of the more amusing peculiarities of the online TT fandom. Complete.

Iceberg Ahead
Another one-shot, this time from Cyborg's viewpoint. The first part of this was my original submission for TitansGo.net's "Author Idol" competition. (I made it to the semi-finals. ) Complete.

Family
This is my most ambitious story to date, and my main project right now. After returning from Tokyo, the Titans embark upon what may prove to be their most dangerous mission ever. To save an innocent, they are forced to join forces with their worst enemy. But all is not as it appears to be...will they discover the true threat before it's too late, and can they all survive it? Currently in-progress.

Politics As Usual
Extremely short comedy bit written during last year's election cycle in the US. Complete.

Heroes On Display
Comedy one-shot. The Titans have finally met an adversary they cannot overcome...their fan base. Complete.

I'm really liking the family, and I really think you have a really good understanding of the characters, even for your first fanfic, it really sounded like the characters given the situation.

Thanks! (Family wasn't my first TT story however; Snow was.) Accurate and consistent characterization is one of my top priorities whenever I'm writing fanfiction, so it's always gratifying to hear when people think I'm getting them right.

Ironically (or maybe not!), 99.999% of the actual characterization in my TT writing is from the TV series. But in Family especially, another of my goals was to see how much of the characters' backstories from the comics I could get to believably mesh with the animated continuity...and as you're noticing, the answer is "quite a bit".

XD it's cool that you put them in, though. Really makes it cooler.

One thing I must admit I'm curious about is what people think of my interpretation of Psimon (in Family).

His appearance in the TV series was barely more than a last-minute cameo, and I don't have any of his appearances from the comics, so I'm well aware that I'm taking far more liberties with him than I have with any of the other characters. That being the case, I'd like to know how he's coming across as I've written him...whether or not it 'works', and what people who are more familiar with his character from the comics might think about my interpretation of him.

Psimon isn't really... Visible... In the series. Just a cameo. So I don't know much about him. I never read his stuff in the comics either XD

I was hoping one of them might answer my question, but I guess they must not have seen it.

For those who are interested in my work, two updates.

One, a new chapter of Family has been posted. No I have not died or abandoned the story.

Two -- and this is the main reason I'm not around much anymore -- some friends and I have set up a new site at http://sincronos.net/. I intend to use this as a showcase and launching platform for all of my current and future creative endeavors, as well as those of other members and contributors. We also hope to build an active online community around it. If this sounds interesting to you, I hope you'll check out the site and also our discussion forums while you're there!

I just finished Snow. You're awesome at describing the setting and characters! Plot was excellent too.

This reminds me that I should get to work on my fanfics as well...
