"You mean you've never heard of tofu?!" Beast boy asked her, astonished.

"That's a good thing, girl, don't worry about it!" Cyborg strode a little closer to the two of them. "You don't want any of that, anyway!"

"So it's not tasty at all?", Atlee recalled another food she had tried, "Does it taste like burgers? I like burgers." Her curiosity was wide awake now. Yes, she had been sent to the surface world on a mission, but that didn't mean she couldn't learn and have fun, too.

She leaned on the couch. "I'd like to try it, please."

Starfire watched as Atlee was having fun with Beast Boy and Cyborg. She glanced at Robin and whispered, "Are we to trust this... New Terra?"

Slade, perched atop a nearby skyscraper, took a deep whiff of the mornining air- he had done little since his return from the underworld and his ordeal with Trigon. Nameley because he had no reason to continue anyhting.

Untill now. At high noon, Slade had plans. A local madical transport vehicle passed on the streets below. melting into the shadows, Slade kept an eye on it.

"Well we have to Starfire. Though I find it fishy that she could think that tofu tastes like hamburgers." Robin whispered back curiously. He wanted to see what she could do. In time. (WELCOME BACK RED!!!)

Starfire sighed. "I... Alright."

"We don't have a choice Starfire." he said, nevertheless he rested an assuring arm on her shoulder. "If anything goes wrong we'll take her down quicker than it started."

HIGH NOON

Jump city emergency services. Contained within were the innocent, the injured and the sick. Not like Slade cared. To him, there was him and his ambitions- nothing else. With speed and power, he barged into the building, amdists starled calls and screams. Security officers bared his path as he made his way to a nearby staircase. Despite their best efforts at attempting to shoot him, he was to fast for them to bareley even see. With one swift motion, he took out both gaurds. plowing up the stairs like a maddened bullet, he stopped at the fifth floor. Upon emerging from the stairwell, his path was abrred by more gaurds. Again, Slade dispatched of them easily. He looked at room numbers as he lessened his pace. 523, 524, 525... Finally, he found room 526. With a swift kick, he busted the door down. Inside, a nurse screamed. "Is visiting time still occuring, my dear?" he asked sarcastically. At this, the nurse barged tot he other end of the room and fled intot he halls, leaving him and th epatient- a young girl- alone. But ti was ntot he patient Slade was interested in. No, it was what was in the vial next tot he child's bedside that was what intruiged him. He took it up- a clear vial containing a neon green liquid. Slade turned to the Child. "Don't mind me- you need your rest." he said, busting out a nearby window and leaping into the streets below...

Robin sat back and watched Beast Boy and Cyborg warmly welcome the new Titan. He hadn't at all been expecting another addition to the team, but in a sense he also felt that it was odd when Terra had left them. She did in fact make busting crime a whole lot easier. He of course was still peeved that Wonder Girl was involved and hadn't told him she was dropping her off. Thoughts of why the girl didn't know what tofu was or the difference between that and a burger struck him as extremely peculiar; he started to imagine what she could have possibly been eating.

Robin let out a sigh and raised his glass of orange juice to his lips, when all of a sudden, the alarms blared; red lights filled the room flashing on and off. "TROUBLE!!"

He least expected this to happen but the adrenaline in his veins got him in the spirit again. They all viewed the Titan mainframe to see the location. "Looks like we'll have to skip training and get into the meat." Robin told Atlee.

(Can I assume that the moment Slade had taken out the second pair of gaurds they got the call, so the Titans can be on the scene before Slade escapes completely.)

"Alright! Let's go get 'em!" Atlee cheered. Now fighting bad guys, that was one thing she always found fun.

[I was actually planing on Slade getting away and doing an investigation-ish thingamajig as to what exactly he stole. Would you rather get there and cathch him?]

(Psst... Red... any idea on how to bring Bee into this?)

The Teen Titans made it to the scene of the crime. They asked around. "So," Robin asked the Chief of Police, "any idea who did this?" The Chief scratched his head. "You could check the security tapes, and double it over, but all that's clear is a black blur over the screen." Robin looked behind him, the Titans were as anxious as he was. "Okay Titans, spread out and look for some clues." he ordered in his Robin like fashion.

Atlee did as ordered, examining the outside of the hospital. After some walking, she found shards of broken glass. "Found something!" she called, glancing upwards at the broken window.

Starfire turned her head to Atlee - that was fast. She flew towards her and the shards of broken glass.

"Someone broke through the window."

Robin came back with a tape in his hand. "We've got the security tapes too. We can review. What else is funny about this room?" Ronin asked. He scanned the area and there wasn't any security cameras. "Thats fishy.." He thought to himself.

A staff member approached Robin. "Robin, we have found out what it was that was stolen. Oddly, it was only one medication, and not a particularly rare one at that." He explained. He handed Robin the paperwork- mostly codes and numbers that made no sense, but the word mutagen could be made out clearly. "Also, the patient this was meant for is in room 526- the room the perpetrator fled from. Perhaps you ought to talk to him." The doctor explained.

Robin looked up handing him the codes. "Why would someone steal a chemical that's common? And where can I talk with the patient?" He asked going into detective mode.

"On the fifth floor, room 526." The doctor said. "The perp could be siphoning it. Espionage is big business." He told Robin.

"Who did what with the who?" Beast Boy asked as he tried to figure out what the doctor was saying.

"He could be stealing it for soemone. it's big business." The doctor explained to BB as he led them tot he stairwell.

"That doesn't make much sense." Atlee replied, deep in thought. "If its so darn common, why not go to a black market for it? Why hire somebody to steal it for you?"
