So, I watched Korra the other day, basically caught myself up from not having seen any at all to having seen all that's out now.

Does anyone else get the feeling that Amon would just be killing people if he weren't in a kids show? I mean the Chi-Blockers are basically steampunk ninja, I have no problem imagining these guys pulling unwitting benders from their bed never to be seen again in the style of V-for-Vendetta's Black Bags.

So what is your honest opinion of the show? I haven't decided whether to watch it or not...

It seems like a good show, they're not playing off the old show as much as I thought they would. It's very much set up to be a more mature show; and like I said I feel like the villain got meddled with because of it still being rated for kids. (He's an anti-bender advocate who 'somehow' happens to be able to energy bend people's bending away. I think it would've been a much better set up if he just killed people rather than had some 'mystical' one-and-only special power to fight the one-and-only Avatar, but that's just me.)

Some of the characters do seem like they're basically Zuko & Sokka with new skins, but they're doing their own stuff. Korra seems like an okay character and I like Aang's son the current master Air Bender.

Over all, I give it a solid watchable, but hold a weather eye on the fandom.

I really really like it.

Yeah, they're all crazy, they also have Avengers, Dark Knight Rises, and Amazing Spider-Man figures, all 12" scale. Unfortunately, they're rather pricy.

Makes sense though; you've got traffic and street people, can you imagine the din of Time Square if every add had it's own speakers?
