I dunno.. the ridiculous character design is one major part I hate in most animes. Also just how cutesy some of the characters look pull my guts out ._.

Ghost in the Shell, Dragon Ball, Fullmetal Alchemist... Not so cutesy poopsie. Though I still think the attire in any anime is god-aweful ridiculous.
