Dawn of the Titans (Started!!)

Karmy suddenly snapped to attention. "Wait!" she said turning to Slade and Alaska. "You guys just want to leave her? To die!?!" she asked surprised.

"Yeah? Well consider her a P.O.W." James called out picking her up and walking over to them.Blade checked her wounds. "She looks like she could have been mutilated, but for now she seems good. Her blood is still fresh so she's got 5 hours.You can kill her if she reaches stage 6." She said to Slade as they got back. It did seem heartless. But it was true. She might not make it in time.

"And what if we bring her and the infection gets out, hm? Do YOU want to be the one that brought the infected out of the quarantene?" Slade barked, his patience wearing dangerously thin. Him and Rose could have been in Metropolis by now if they had jsut ditched them. "Fine, she can come, but if she mutates, she dies. period." Slade hissed. "Sentimental fools." He grumbeled under his breath as he led the way to the tech district. Rose sighed. "He may seem rough, but he has a good point at the moment. The infection CAN'T breach the quarantine, or things will be that much worse" She said.

Little Annie came and tried to get Slade's attention. "But... sir..." she said meekly, "We already saw infected well outside the city limits when we were riding along with Admiral James... it's too late to try to keep it confined."

Karmy went up to the girl and picked her up. "Well how about we try to find a cure? Did anyone ever think of that?"

"Then let's not add to the problem by letting more infected join them." Slade replied sharply, not softening up in the least. Rose stayed behind him, her emotions conflicitng. 'We can't jsut leave her while she is still concious, but she is a safety hazard as long as she is here, stil mutating.' Rose thought to her self. 'Is dad right, and we need to avoid them and put emotions on the back shelf, or are the others right, and we need to try and help them, even though there is nothing we can really do?' she continued to think. "What good will a cure do if we get infected by hauling an infected with us in the first place?" Slade barked sharply at Karmy.
[added that last bit at the last moment. Gonna be gone for the rest of the day, so Mecy can control Slade and Rose.]

(Mercy makes him just as scary as you do though O_O!!! Have Charmy control him! He'll make him nice and less scary!!)

Karmy shrugged, still holding onto Aurelia. "How do you know that we'll get infect just by carrying her?" (Dosn't work like that anyways) "With every infection there is a cure, so all we need to do is look for it!"

Alaska was curious for the first time. She came up closer to Karmy, "You really think there's a cure?" She asked her. Slade looked behind him as they continued to walk. "If there is, what makes you think we'll find it before she turns? And I was saying that he could be responsible for letting the infected get out of the city."

Kamica had fallen asleep standing up and was dreaming about what she though might have been her mother, and avenging her suposed death. Her robotic leg kept her with the others. She muttered in her sleep, "Gonna kill'em... Don't care who..."

(They're not gonna be able to get out for a while guys >_> If they did then this RP would be short >_<.)

"Well," Karmy said pondering "It makes logical since. The virus was obviously some sort of creation right? So then someone must have made a cure?"

"It doesn't help if you don't know what caused it." Slade said impatiently. "Yeah, how did this all start? All I remember was getting called to City Hall and then, BAM! Here I am." James reminisced.

(Totally unfair for my character to know this, but I can't think of any other way)

"Well..." Karmy said nervously. "Before I came here, I heard about what happened." Everyone's attention was suddenly drawn to her. Karmy felt very small as they all stared at her. "Well.. It turns out that some sort of experimental lab animal escaped. It got lose in the city and bit a lot of people. So the government closed off the area. So it won't spread... They call it the Epsilon Chi-Virus: or nicknamed the EX-Virus."

Kamica woke with an idea. "That has to be it!" As soon as she had the idea it was gone. Looking to te others she smiled sheepishly and blushed, "Um... what were we talking about?"

"A cure," James said , "so you think we'd be able to produce an antidote if we find ground zero?" He asked the group as they were all walking westward to the sewers where Slade was all leading them to. "I think I might be able to figure that out." Alaska spoke up. "What do you know about biology?" Slade asked annoyingly. "I got a Masters in Biology and Photography. I'm not an idiot." She spat pissed off that Slade would question her intelligence. "Well excuse me princess." He said.

"If I know what the cure is made of, I draw some up." Kamic said, happy about this. This was what she had wanted to do from the start. "All I need is the scienific formula." She rose above the ground a foot and fallowed behind Slade. "I'm still planning to kill you later. Don't think I forgot, Dad." She whispeared in his ear and flew back.

And when she least expected, when everyone least expected, he smacked Kamica across the face, she fell flat on the ground clearly in pain. "What didn't I tell you to respect your elders?" This alarmed the entire group, they Blade and Rose were helping Kamica up, while James, Alaska, Kamry, and Kate tried to deal with Slade. Carafrost tried to comfort the children who were now crying because of the sudden violence. "If you want to get that cure we'll have to work together." Slade growled. "You call hitting someone working together?" Blade accused indirectly. "Its called discipline, every parent shows in." Slade said in defense. "Some better than others." James muttered. Blade was still trying to help Kamica up. "Are you okay...?" She asked her. It probably wasn't a good idea to attack Slade at the moment.

One hour after infection

Aurelia awoke in the arms of a strangely dressed woman. She struggled to speak, but even felt too weak to do so. She looked down at the wound with eyes half open; her skin was turning a sickly yellow color.
"Oh, God.. Please no.." she thought to herself as she used her power to make her skin color tan again so the others would not be alarmed by the gradual transformation.

"Fine, just fine!" KAmica snarled. She was more angery than in pain. "Let's just get this over with. She set fire to Slade's feet and started a rain cloud above him. Smileing she got out of the way.

"Well good morning sleepy head." Karmy said setting her down. She held onto Aurelia shoulders, just in case she fell again. "Would you guys just chillax?" she said turning back to the others. "Did anybody ever think to go to the place where the virus first came from? I think it was called World Through Familiarity Industries. That's where the experiment escaped from." she said, cringing at the word experiment.

(In case no one caught that, the abbreviation for the company is WTF industries)
