The music weaves around the creature.
It's upbeat melody a surprise.
Light soon illuminates it's every feature.
But it ignores the glorious sunrise.

The notes grow softer and fast,
but how long can it, will it last,
this trance the beast is inside?
Someone make a move, save our hides!

The poor bleeding victim lies still.
The gruesome beast in it's calmed state.
The hunter prowls nearby, on a thrill.
Can he save the victim before it's too late?

It seems that this be fate,
For now the music slows.
The hunter attacks, not willing to wait
Who will win, only heaven knows.

The struggle is violent but quick.
The beast is dead, the breathless town
save one victim protected. More than a nick
the hunter lives with, but hasn't let them down.

He stands at glory's hill
branishes his sword
his unforgiving will
that broke each cord
and gave the beast defeat
and the people fresh meat.

The moment perfect ended,
the circle now complete.
Our conflict has been mended,
and now it's time to eat!

The village patrons surrender
loving the celebration
passing meat so tender
even the guards leave their stations

Wine glasses clank and spill their
blood across tablecloths white.
A rowdy cheer hangs in the air
We celebrate tonight!

The dancing girls twirl and their bells ring
singing through the night
the crowd oohs and glasses ting
as they forget their plight

The plights now forgotten lay
as food and drink in plenty sit.
The sun will come to herald day,
but that's not for hours yet.

(Slant rhyme!)

The morning sun peeks out
announcing new found freedom.
The trumpets blare about
a song o'a brand new kingdom.

*er-hem*

ARCHIE IS NINJA ANGEL, SHE KICK YOU BOOTY.

Someone's toppling families of crime,
like they've being doing it the whole time.
But, is this man evil, or news that is good?
For sure, there are secrets Under the Red Hood.

Robin is fast. Robin is slick.
Robin is cool. Robin is quick.
Robin is friendly. Robin is fun.
Robin might hurt me, if I don't get this done!

Archie's Angel, quick as can be,
Floridian girl types faster than me.
She'll post a poem before you know it,
she's good at poetry and loves to show it!

Snow spins tales of gold,
rhyming words art of old.
Lacing together story plots,
give her a penny for her thoughts.

A penny for your thoughts I'd pay,
and listen to them the whole day.
For a single character there can't be,
that's more interesting than Archie.

I swear I saw a person by you
telling you what to write.
Whispering things they think they should do,
your character shares his plight.

He whispers in my ear, and he tells me what to say.
Until I finish this whole book, he will not go away.
And so I write with all my heart, and all of his as well,
I write, I write, my fingers sore,
and then I pause, and write some more.
When will it end? No one can say, no one will ever tell.

I know what you mean.
Those imagined voices spouting stories.
My own inspiration, unseen.
Creating works that become my glories.

This character wants this.
This one wants that.
This one embraced death's kiss.
That one is terrified of the head Bat.

He stands tall facing the setting sun.
His fate already decided.
Can he get free of this curse
that his writer has provided?
Must he die for reader's pleasure
with his beginning hind-sighted?
Would he be the only one
or would both realities end up collided?

Realities colliding, crashing together,
ripping holes in time and weather.
In this one, his friends and family grieve,
in another, he's alive, heart on his sleeve.

Plots conceiving
Novels weaving
Spinning words one by one
A writer's work is never done.

Watchful angel, wings spread open,
brings some hope to hearts made broken
by a lover, harsh words spoken;
she'll never let them down again.
