Batman versus Superman

oo that's a tough one.... maybe superman as he's actually not human and batman just uses gadgets

See, I have never seen Batman lose. *Cough* He's the fictional Chuck Norris*Cough* While SUPERMAN, near kryptonite, is screwed, pardon my language. So, in a fight, Batman's resourcefulness would probably get him some kryptonite and that = KOed Superman.

All of SM's powers are void with kryptonite anyway.

Seeing how you can pick up a pound of Kryptonite on sale every now and than at Walmart, I think Superman is pretty easy to beat now.

If it were streangth only, Superman. Mind over matter, Batman. Coolest gagets, Batman. Powers, Superman. Fist fight, Superman. Without his mind and gagets Batman has nothing.

If they both knew that they were going to be fighting each other? Then Batman would win, but if Superman just randomly decided to attack Batman then Superman would probably win.

Wasn't there an episode or some movie that had them fighting o_o?

Batman. Always. He's got a plan for every contingency in which he'd have to fight Superman. He actually has a Kryptonite ring he keeps around just in case. Also, he's whupped Superman in one way or another several times.

Batman, cause he's awesome.

It's actually canon that Batman carries with him a small piece of kryptonite just encase Superman ever goes rogue, again. So my money's on the Bat.

Not JUST because Batman is infiniteley awesome.

Also, Batman can win at claw machines and he found Waldo.

I suppose this could be relevant since Justice League: Doom is coming out soon, but apparently Batman can beat the entire Justice League. One at a time of course though.

Don't care who you are, unless he has Kryptonite with him or Superman spent the last few hours stewing under a red sun, it's pretty much fact that Superman has the advantage over Batman in an all out brawl. This isn't to say that I don't love Batman, just that it isn't possible for Batman to beat Superman unaided. Even Terry, in the advanced batsuit, couldn't even come close to proving a match against him without a chunk of Kryptonite that Bruce had stashed away.

True; Superman is Batman's physical superior in every way, but Batman never comes to a fight unprepared. He does carry kryptonite I'm his belt like in an Amazo episode in Justice League and in Hush volume 1 where Batman actually did beat the tar out of Superman.

If you watched that one video Karm posted in random chat, this guy explains that Batman would have taken a different approach in fighting Doomsday instead of just beating him in the face until he drops.

Well those were really special circumstances anyway, nine times out of ten they're fighting as allies, not trying to beat each other up.

Agreed though that Batman has the stuff since folks like Darkseid have taken Superduper's brain for a joyride before.

Well if you could knock over skyscrapers with your pinky I'd wager a lot of people would want you on their team. By hook or by crook of course.

You but Superman didn't have to dedicate his entire life into turning himself into the perfect physically and mentally fit person on the planet, all he has to do is take a little sun bath and he's good to go.

Hmm... the eternal question. I mean Batman carries Kryptonite around with him, but Superman is basically a deity... he could just hang up in the air and heat vision Batman to death, Batman would totally be able to dodge it but after a while Batman's going to get tired and Superman's not doing much of anything just hanging up there where Batman can't get to him. If he threw his bat-a-rangs Superman would just heat vision them out of the air, I mean all he has to do is look at it... plus if Batman tried to use his kryponite at that distance and missed he'd kinda be screwed for the rest of the fight.

On the other hand if Superman didn't have his powers, and Batman didn't have his belt Batman would totally win, Superman knows how to like box but Batman knows eighty different kinds of kung-fu.

Regardless, Flash could beat them both. He'd have to dip into the Speed-Force for Superman, but Batman wouldn't have a prayer.
