Why can't you say CandleJack?

Anyway long story short, Candlejack is a character from an old, completely random cartoon show called Freakazoid, if you've never seen the show it doesn't make much sense but the episode was hilarious and the jack-man's best line was 'I'm gonna need more rope' on account of the fact that if you said his name he came, tied you up with his magic rope and then floated away with you. People saw this exclaimed that it was 'Candlejack!' and thus were trapped by his spell or whatever, the show wasn't big into explaining how things worked, but don't just take my word for it.

I feel left out, I never liked Freakazoid. In fact, watching that video just reminded me why. Even as a kid I felt it was trying way too hard. Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, and Histeria! were always the shows I liked. Oh well.

I remember vaguely some scenes from that show and never got it as a child. I didn't really watch the clip either, just some scenes and I don't recognize any of them. CandleJack looks awesome though. I love his character design.

Though another old show that I really got into recently is The Tick, I found it to be phenomenally-
