Edward Cullen vs. Raiden (MGS4)

Both are preternaturally strong, fast and agile. Both are angsty as all get out. Both have the most annoying girlfriends in history. Both are recent fathers.

The key difference? Raiden is a cybernetically-enhanced ninja, whereas Edward Cullen is a sparkly piece of ****.

Other key differences:

-Raiden's greatest feat of strength is difficult to pin down, since there's so damn many. Between physically holding back a battleship the size of Manhattan after losing an arm and pint after pint of blood and swinging two Metal Gear GEKKOs (bipedal walking tanks) by the cords they had just attached to his legs, WITH his legs, I really can't say for sure. Edward's greatest feat of strength is stopping a van with his hand. Note that Gray Fox--a predecessor ninja to Raiden with a less-advanced exoskeleton and fewer abilities--held Metal Gear REX' foot (REX being a sixty foot tall, bipedal, nuclear-capable tank) aloft, one-handed, with no sign of stress (and that's if you ignore The Twin Snakes, where he basically matched it blow-for-blow in awesome ninja fashion). Oh, and Edward can crush stainless steel with no effort. Oh, how badass. Point goes to Raiden.

-Raiden is a former child soldier who spent his tender years being trained to kill with deadly efficiency by the future President of the United States, who also killed his parents. Later in life, he discovered that his girlfriend was secretly an agent meant to gain his trust and that his relationship may as well have been a lie (though she insisted that she truly loved him). Then she dumped his ass for an older man (to protect their unborn child, but Raiden doesn't know this). Edward can't remember his life, but whines about how terrible he has it nonetheless. Oh, yeah, the inexplicably wealthy vampire whose few needs are met (and THEN some) has got such a terrible life. Pity him! Point is, Raiden's got room to angst, whereas Edward sucks. That's two for Raiden.

-Raiden once fended off an army of ninjas with machetes, with both his arms torn off, wielding his sword between his teeth. Edward sparkles in the sunlight. Raiden~

-Raiden can spontaneously generate lightning (probably with the help of The Sorrow). Edward is flammable. Do the math. ;D

My point is, in a fight, Raiden would wipe the floor with Edward. Then he'd kill him to death. Then he'd probably kill all the other Cullens for good measure. And those goddamn werewolves too. Except Seth and Leah. They'd go out for beers. Because Seth and Leah are awesome. And then Charlie would be the designated driver.

Also, Metal Gear Solid is awesome and Twilight is a festering pile of stool.

No, he uses a ninjato. Gray Fox uses a katana.

He's a ninja, that's why. As for the cow bots, those are GEKKO, which are AI-controlled tanks bipedal tanks. Their legs are artificially-cloned muscle tissue, and the reason that they moo is because it makes opponents underestimate them.

Hell, it works, don't it? If you saw a big ol' GEKKO with shapely legs ambling down the street and mooing at you, you'd laugh, right? Then it'd lob a grenade at you and you would DIE.

loved the background graphics because it was all... fwoosh? =o= i recommend any TT fan/TT gamer

lol chocolachao, you know it should be pretty obvious if we have the same game if you have a TT video game for gamecube because there's only 1 TT gamecube game in the whole entire universe. none other has been created (unless it's in some alternate dimension or something @w@ )

(since i get easily fascinated with video games anyways >_> ) but as for the one for GBA, it's probably
understandable if someone calls it "poor." i haven't played it, but i coughed when i first saw the graphics
and gameplay. not that i can make straightforward judgements since i haven't played it before but yeah @_@
