Cancelled shows to make way for Batman and Teen Titans?
So as you may or may not know, DC Nation are cancelling Young Justice and Green Lantern the animated series to make way for Beware the Batman—which I cannot express how many problems I have with it—and Teen Titans, which I also have several problems with.
I haven't seen much of either show that's getting the boot, but I don't think it's fair to do that to the teams behind the shows.
My Little Pony had rumors of cancel to make room for the new Powerpuff, but of course those were proven false.
Any thoughts on this?

From what I heard YJ wasn't officially canceled, it was just in the dubious position of not being confirmed for a third season; so it could go either way, unless my information is out of date.
I haven't heard anything about the new GL show being canceled but I don't really travel in those circles so that may be why.

Well I saw this video and was alarmed by the situation a while back.
Again, I haven't seen much of either show, but it doesn't mean I wasn't going to buy the complete box set of the entire series. If they're only two or three seasons long that'd be mighty disappointing.

Hmm, yeah I'm not sure; what I had heard was that Young Justice wasn't confirmed for a 3rd season, which may have been people intimating from the fact that YJ wasn't on the released schedule that guy mentions in his video.
The rumor I had heard was that Cartoon Network was considering dropping the show, but that it was also possible going to be bought by other networks. HUB & KIDsWB were the ones mentioned, and I know KsWB aired the old Superman and Batman cartoons long after their hay-day had passed, (Lies! Batman the Animated series shall be forever!) so it wouldn't be beyond belief that they would be interested in snatching up YJ and airing it to death; heck I think they were the ones who gave us Static Shock in the first place weren't they?

Yeah, they did give us Static Shock; I know a whole load of fans threw over tables when they heard that Young Justice wasn't returning for a third season, I suppose that meant "cancellation."
But honestly, the guy is right. Why would you air shows early in the morning when most of the fans of the show are older and waking up at 2pm? They should have aired it at night.

There's something about superheroes cartoons that corporations can seem to think of as anything other than Saturday morning cartoons. Even after the dawn and, more or less, acceptance of the teen aged anime fan, people still think of cartoons as something for kids.

Especially not these type of cartoons. Especially the way it's animated, those cartoons look more expensive than some of the DC Animated films in some episodes if not it's on par. Why showcase it in the morning?
