I never thought Cyborg and Raven had that kind of chemistry.
Besides, once they realized that Bumblebee and Cyborg were both black, it was a foregone conclusion that they'd get together. Can't have interracial couples on a kid's show--why, think of all the confusion that'd result!
-_-;
For frak's sake. They have an alien dating a human. They have a green Vulcan mooning after a stick. And they have a half-demon who gets paired up with...well, with everybody (but usually a green Vulcan). Where would be the harm in having Cyborg get a love interest whose skin color was different from his?
Granted, they gave him Sarasim, but I think Cyborg would rather have someone "from the age of shaven underarms," to quote Phillip J. Fry.

Beast Boy and Raven for me. In both the show and the comics. Love it.
Didn't they introduce Sarah Sims in the Teen Titans Go! comic at some point? She was his girlfriend in the regular Teen Titans comics for a while there. Or they were close, at the least.
I've never really humored the notion of "someone for everyone" in shipping. It's kind of a poor excuse for shipping something. Not to mention love really doesn't work that way.redeagle321 wrote:Oddly, I allways saw Cyborg and Rae as a possibility. that way, there is some1 for every1

Something I noticed in the cartoon, in that episode "Cyborg the Barbarian" where he was zapped back in time, was the tribal woman's name that he took a liking to. Sarasim. Sarah Sims. Yeah. That was pretty funny.

A bad pun to go along with a bad episode.

To be fair, most of that season was pretty bad. Especially the season closing "The End" trilogy. A waste of a rather decent buildup.Naked Snake wrote:SylverBluTitan wrote:Azrael wrote:Didn't they introduce Sarah Sims in the Teen Titans Go! comic at some point?

The only let-down of that trilogy was part three. Deus Ex Machina and all.
No, that season was a huge improvement over the last, in my opinion.

I thought the whole thing was rather iffy. The second episode was the highlight but still suffered from numerous problems. The first one was just glorified setup that never really went anywhere, as I recall; and if you're going to spend an entire episode on setup, the least you could do is make it interesting.Naked Snake wrote:Azrael wrote:To be fair, most of that season was pretty bad. On it being an improvement over season 3, well... let's face it, that wasn't hard.

"Now, Cyborg, show us on the WALL-E toy where he touched you."
For all the flak Slade gets for being a pedophile...Brother Blood was infinitely worse.

Not to mention another victim of the staff's "reimaginings"; or axejobs, which could describe most of the characters in the series..Naked Snake wrote:Azrael wrote:I thought the whole thing was rather iffy. Seriously, the shows Brother Blood was Brother Blood in name alone.

I always thought there was something wrong with the cartoon Brother Blood.
He just seemed lame as hell to me, for one.

Re: Fave couples?
Season three in general was pretty lame. Even a lot of hardcore fans of the show I've met agree it's the weakest overall season of the show. Hard to disagree with them. There were some individual episodes that were good, but the season as a whole stunk.

You know who would make a great couple?
Starfire and Kyd Wykkyd.
She does all the talking and he just listens and listens and listens. He'd be the perfect listener.

Well if you want to get technical... No he didn't ever do anything. But just think of what a perfect guy he'd be for Starfire, Raven, Beast boy... any of the Titans really.
Nice quiet well mannered, doesn't tend to destroy things. Never yells at you.
