The Darkness Before Dawn

[Well, here I go again. I'll see where this goes for a laugh.]
Plot: Five years have passed. You would expect Heroes and villains to still be at it, right? WRONG! One man has gained the upper hand and seized the Earth for himself. Slade, the ultimate emporer of Earth, has grasped control with a pentultimate substance, capable of shutting out the goodness in someone's heart, making them a slave to their darker emotions and flawlessly loyal to him.
There are multiple objectives, depending on what side you take:
The Titans:
*An antidote must be found to the darkness serum
*Topple Slade's regeime and let law once more rule the land instead of one man's iron grip
*restore the corrupted to normal
Slade's loyalists:
*Find a way to develop an irreversible serum
*Crush these pathetic titans- show them how foolish their efforts are!
*Obliterate the cure if it is found.
If you choose to control multiple characters, you can have characters on BOTH sides if you want.
Keep in mind:
-If a titan is infected by the serum, you switch sides to evil. If a Loyalist is cured, they become good. You can be cured/re-infected if this happens, however.
-There will be instances in which the Cure or Serum will not work, if emotions of either purity or hatred reach a deep enough intensity.
Rules:
1) Be sure to read other people's posts and mind what thye have posted. ignoring other people's posts is just rude.
2) Multiple character control is ecouraged, but make sure you don't bite off more than you can chew.
3) Do not overpower your character if they are an OC- have exploitable weaknesses.
4) Be respectful. 'nuff said.
5) No spotlighting.
just listen and we'll get along fine.

+Don't be afraid to develop your characters, I like to see characters change and progress over the course of an RP

Appearance: Dark black hair kept in a ponytail, with dark green eyes. Her skin color is tanned. When dressed as a Blade, she wears a black skin-tight suit, clad with metal at her joints (Knees, elbows etc.) as sheilds. She wears a silver mask, covering everything but her eyes. When dressed as a civilian, she wears a plain white T-shirt, dark jeans, and a suede brown jacket.
Abilities/Strengths
Advanced Martial Artist: Blade has been taking martial arts classes since eight years of age, making her quite the experienced battler.
Moderate Acrobat: Part of her classes involved gymnastics. Although she has not mastered it, she is quite flexible.
Weapons:
Sword: She usually weilds a curved sword.
Shuriken: On average, she carries 20 sharp shuriken, hidden in pockets on her suit.
Chemics: She has been known to tinge her weapons with chemicals varying from a deadly poison and a permanent paralysis, to a mild knock out and a sharp sting.
Weaknesses:
Pyrophobia: She has a grand fear of fire.
Earthquakes: Another fear of her's, considering her parents died in one.
Biography: Originally, Blade was the girl picked on by everybody. Until she was 8, then she began taking martial art classes as a defense to herself. A natural and accomplished yellow belt in her first year, she was no longer picked on. She became the bully. At 15, her parents died in an earthquake (Hence her fear.) The stress too much for her, she dropped out of school, continuing her studies in libraries and such, and living off her parent's inheritance. By the time she was 17, she was unstoppable in martial arts, using her mind as an important asset. But, her money began to run out and she started out doing small petty thieves.She then discovered Red X, and he became her inspiration. She donned on the name Blade, becoming the kick-butt girl looking out for nobody but herself. Now, with Slade as the overlord, she has easily switched to the side of evil, and is itching to fight the Titans!
Note: In alternate timeline/Rp, she has been killed. As well as fighting for a cure during a zombie invasion.

Clothes: She wears a light blue tank top and green pants rolled up to her ankles like capris. Only one black combat boot is word due to the fact that her right foot is robotic. An old, grey hat rests on her head with a black bad and red button.
Powers: Timekeeper, well, she can stop time, but only for so long. The longest she can stop time depends on how much energy she has. If she stops time for a minute, it doesn’t affect her. Stopping time for over 30 minutes will drain her progressively faster. Just by tapping her cane and saying “Time out.” and a ring over energy will sweep from the tap, stopping time. “Time in” is what she will say when she wants to resume time.
Fighting style: Timekeeper will stop time and then attack, making her a really cheap fighter. She knows the basics of karate, but is an expert with pressure points. Stopping time, she will walk up to her victim and then swiftly K.O. them or damage them in some way.
Weakness: She has trouble walking due to her robotic foot and is not very fast.
Origin: She does not remember anything about her childhood. All she knows is a life of crime because a Mobster took her from off the streets when she was in her early teens. His name was Brady and he controlled a ruthless mob in Philadelphia called The Brady Bunch. He harnessed her powers to rob banks, commit murders, and pretty much do everything a mob would do. She earner her busted foot when she was shot at a bank. She had not successfully knocked out one of the guards so when time resumed and they were running away when he shot her from the ground. After replacing her foot with the robotic one, the mob abandoned her. Working her way to Gotham, she managed to steal enough to survive.

Abilities:
-She's not a fighter, nor is she really good with her handgun. She had just recently got her hidden weapon's permit. She can't throw a straight punch so in pickles she relies on her ghost-like super powers to escape.
Personalilty:
Alaska has an attitude, she often belittles everyone. They often see her as a jerk, she can be extremely persuasive when she wants something; her attitude changing completely. This is due to her success in practiclly everything she does in life. Alaska is prone to learning and is understanding, if a tragic event occurs she is capable to changing her character depending on what happened.
Origin:
Alaska Flowers grew up in a happy family, her friends always called her Apple because of her red hair pale skin and green eyes, and Juneau because her first name. Her father and mother never disappointed her and she graduated at CCA with a Photography degree at an extremely early age and ended up getting a job in photography and moving to Jump City. Her brilliance proves to be one in a million. One day she was walking with her friends when out of the blue, she vanished. This astonished her friends but they could hear her and feel her presence. She came back and realized her power as a specter. She now lives in Jump City with no intention to use her powers. She was inevitably spotted by the media and found herself more famous than she wanted or needed to be. She got television spots and rolls in several independent films. She ended up being the Director of Photography in several other films as well as a leading actress in a television show that only lasted two seasons. She, as most media stars go through, had developed a bad attitude from paparazzi. She eventually adapted to riding a motorcycle which proved more effective in avoiding them, and every now and then takes her baby out for a spin. She was once attacked by a crazy paparazzi artist with a bat, she realized her need for self defense and purchased a handgun.

A little somethin' somethin' I whipped up- a collection of the drones you can expect to see. This will probably be additions to this list as time progresses:
Drone Encyclopedia
- Spoiler:
- Assasin drone: The hunchbacked ones we are all know and loathe. The gear they carry is varied and assorted
Blocker: The ones with the claws and eyelazers from Aftershock, Pt.2
MELD drones: The most sophisticated of machinery and complex of drones, Slade has discovered how to compress a superhuman's genetic code into computer coding, and can give a drone a superhero's powers. For example, if Raven's genetic code was put into a MELD unit, the drone would gain Raven's powers. MELD units are usualy in the likeliness of the person they inherited their power from. They behave very humanoid.
Stealth assasin: A fully- loaded version of the assasin drone, their armor is all black, and they are packin' serious killing gear- poision darts, silenced rifles, even cloaking devices aren't uncommon.
Jest units: A hardier, more humanoid version of the Assasin drone. They have boosters for flight capability.
Behemoth: Just one of these four armed beasts can create a major disaster area. Heavily armored and strong enough to uproot a tree easily, they are the newest units and aren't commonplace- yet.
Rifle unit: Name says it all- unless you're Jessie James, you won't outgun this class.

1 built in bio antidote package in neck
2 gas sprayers under wrists
4 different gass canasters for sprayers including: corrosive,sleep,stun and revealing for traps.
Powers: vaccum.
his staff can absorb air from the surroundings and fire it in a metal punching burst or in other methods.
wind control: stratocaster can control the air around him to allow him and others flght or as offense
Skills, physical abilities: very skilled with his staff, he can easily parray melee attacks and can prove to be excellent in hand to hand combat
Personality: very plain and drone like, but he acts like a feirce warrior in combat situations
Weaknesses: he seems to protect the sphere on his chest with his life. terrified of aliens despite his tough appearence.
History:his childhood is an absolute blur as is any part of his life up to his current age. all he know is basic knowledge and what his name is. because of his powers he was constaintly used by criminals to rob banks because he didn't know right from wrong. he was then tought right from wrong by a now dead master of kung foo. he now roams the streets helping those in need. doing right was one thing that never left his mind. it is also unknown how he obtained his armor or his equimment. the blue orb on his chest is a life support system that reduces the strain that the green gem on his staff puts on him. the green gem was givan to him by the old kung foo master he trained under and it supplies him with the power of wind, but it also puts a large strain on his body.

Outfit: Think off Slade's. Add an eye to the black side. Change the orange to gold and the black to silver. Now and a sword to his side and, a bow on his shoulder.
Powers:
Steel Sheild-Can turn his arms into a steel sheild the size of a hummer. Bullet proof but not completly unstoppible.
Mental Sheild-His mind is uneffected by any control or mind reading.
Skills:-Bowman
-Swordsman
Tools:
Golden bow with silver arrows.
Green handled iron sword.
Personalilty: JK is as loyal as can be. Honor among thieves could have been invented by the guy! Though this makes him seem uptight, JK is a lighthearted guy who loves jokes.
Origin:
JK lived in an almost 3rd world area of Egypt. His mother was an American who died after his brother's brith and his father worked in their feilds all day, though 'feilds' is more like one half of a half of a mile. JK would take care of his little brother while his father worked. The two traveled the desert most of the day, until they stumbled/fell into a tomb of an acient warrior. They found his coffin and JK's little brother (Jordan after JK's mother) opened it. JK doesn't remeber much of what happened next, only that his brother was gone and a man in his place. The tomb was a curse to outsiders, but the mummy had turned out to be the boys' great x 100 grandfather. The curse gave them power insted but only one could keep it. As for the other... well, point made by saying JK is an only child now? Anyways, he worked the blackmarket for awhile moving around constantly, and acting as an 'evil head-hecnchman' some would say. As of now he's working for Slade.

Strengths/Powers:
Anesthia- Just as her name says, Ann can control a person's senses. Mostly using it to decrease them to the point of making a person blind, deaf, etc.
Enhanced Senses- Her powers also work backwards, which she uses to give herself enhanced senses. She can do this to other people as well.
Moderate Hand to Hand-She's also a moderate hand to hand combat fighter.
Weaknesses:
To use her abilities, she needs to contact the person through touch . She has a small fear of people who are already handicapped, because she cannot hurt them.
Weapons-
Grenades- Standard bomb grenades. She usually carries 6, being her lucky number.
.357 Magnum Mateba Autorevolver- Semi-automatic revolver. Ann supposedly bought it.
Appearance:
Height: 5"9
Hair Color: A light brown, usually in a ponytail swinging over her shoulders.
Eye color: Stormy gray.
Clothing: Ann usually wears a gray cloak over white gi, with black sneakers.
Orgin: Born with these abilites, Leanne never understood them. Her parents loved her dearly, but she wanted to use her abilites for something, she thought not using them was a complete waste. Running away at the age of 15, Leanne trained herself, practicing on dogs and cats. Sometimes, quite rarely, humans. Traveling around, she took care of herself but didn't hesitate to stop crime every once in awhile. An abandoned rouge now at age 19, Leanne has gone to the good side without a flinch, even though a part of her screamed for the evil side.
