Well to be fair I wouldn't exactly classify this as 'adult themed' stuff. This is just 'mature' stuff, and if people can't discuss 'mature' stuff, in a mature manner, than they had best be very careful where they go on the internet. Very very careful.

And also it's not like the original comics didn't do things much much worse. People seem to have this expectation that anything Super Hero related can't be above a PG-13 rating, but in the original comics tones of 'adult themed' stuff happen. You should look up our old friend Doctor Light in his comic incarnation sometime, you'll be surprised at just exactly why the super villain is being beaten up by children. Long story short he did something really bad to a Justice League member's relative, so he got a magical lobotomy to remove the knowledge of such&such's real identity. It went a little far and sort of nuked his brain.

Not to mention, who was it I was talking about Starfire's little stint as an alien 'prisoner' with? Seriously, just because they run around in tights, doesn't mean they don't know what's what.

Though this isn't to say I don't respect the atmosphere that is attempted here. I will try to restrain 'mature' topics to the chatbox when only consenting adults can hear them. ;p

I think pretty much everyone can handle the word ''condom''. Its just some of these users are as young as 12 and may not have been exposed to some of the things that are talked about here. Not that ''condom'' in particular is an icky, nasty word. Some members have yet to reach adolescence. But nowadays, it seems like even 6 year-olds are being taught sex ed and God knows what else by their older siblings. So then again, i dunno if there is much this forum can ''expose'' to the younger members. XD
