As long as everybody's fangirling over Obama, let me point out that despite all of his pretty words, so far his policies have had little positive effect on the economy or the world at large.

That's not to say there's been a truly negative effect, although the Afghanis might beg to differ, but so far he hasn't been a tremendous help. It's early, yes, but he doesn't deserve the prize. Not yet.
