Not always. There's dominant women out there. And there's relationships where neither partner dominates, or where they both butt heads because they're both dominant. Homosexual relationships are no different from hetero relationships but for the set of genitals and the stares that they get from the prejudiced.

Most definitely.
Ri, have you not learned by now that I'm a total know-it-all? I revel in giving out information, because I'm a fount of useless trivia that'd be irrelevant in 90% of the situations I encounter in my day-to-day life.
Hmm. Reading bad fanfiction makes me want to write something. Do I go back to my remastered version of my own bad fanfiction, or something else? The mind boggles.

Speaking of useless trivia, I heard that vending machines claim more deaths than sharks do each year.

I love the original Family Guy seasons. The return season wasn't bad either. It's been horribly uneven since the fifth though. Some episodes are good and some fail epically.Mercy wrote:That looks like peter griffin in a fox costume. I hate family guy.

The problem I have with family guy is that you'll never know where an episode is going, ever. You start off in one episode with Chris getting kicked out of a boy scout club and then Peter says "We'll show them! We're going to New York!" How does that show them what for?! Then half way there they get their car taken away because Lois bidded it off at a casino they stopped by, and to get it back Peter has to go into the wilderness to find his spirit whatever.
And on top of that they have flashbacks IN flashbacks AFTER a flashback! Those really "grind my gears" they're not funny half the times and their songs they sing are not funny at all. I sit there watching them sing and say to myself "Is this supposed to be funny?"

In my opinion, family guy is just a whole bunch of randmoness mixed with suggestive themes, violence, drug references, and sex. Its not supposed to make sense. And because of the fact it is stupid and senseless is what makes it humorous to many people. Basically, its so dumb, its funny. XD

Not funny to you. They are, in fact, funny. Not everything needs to have a message to be a good time; shows like South Park lose sight of this a lot.Mercy wrote:Azrael wrote:I love the original Family Guy seasons. I mean, seriously, you don't like the show because it's unpredictable? Would you honestly rather it had been a cliche, easy to figure out television show where you know what's going to happen before it does? Because that's boring as piss. Each episode does, in the end, tell a story; how it gets to the end point is random, to which I say so what.
Also, you're probably too young to get most of the references. Some jokes rely heavily on them; especially the better jokes of the original seasons. It's not meant to be a show for kids; adults are the ones likely to get most of the jokes and/or references.
No, it's not. It's primarily an adult show and the jokes often reflect that. The products you see can be blamed on Fox whoring the series out once it brought it back. Family Guy was previously treated as it should be; it found much of it's popularity on Adult Swim, which is a late night television block set after most kids go to bed, like most primetime television slots. It found an audience there and Fox took notice with dollar signs in their eyes; hell, Cartoon Network was originally going to fund the shows return until Fox realized the gold mine the show was and moved to get it back. But its geared towards children!!
Lunchboxes and backpacks, freaking hell man, that's just evil!
The Simpsons isn't really a show for kids either - most are too young to really "get" the series or it's original purpose - but that never stopped Fox from merchandising the series to the point of exhaustion.

South Park has had a string of fantastic episodes, thankyouverymuch. *hmph* And, may I add, the most recent one was rather message-less. Hilarious, too.
