Google bot
The Google bot is the bot from our friend Google, he's just referencing your forum for their database.
He will visit your forum daily no matter what your activity is.

Yahoo! bot
The Yahoo! bot is the bot from Yahoo!.
He is also just referencing your forum, however you need a few members on your forum to persude him to view your forum

Msn bot
This is the bot from Microsoft, msn, bing.com.
You have to have HUGE popularity for him to visit your forum.

You know how websites are submitted to search engines? Our forum's submitted to search engines and those search engines have bots that visits explores our forum. There are different types of bots from different types of search engines, and the ones that Forumotion have are the three bots I mentioned above. Some bots are usual - every forum gets them, some bots are really rare. And that rareness thing depends on our site's popularity. We got visited by a bot from bing.com, which means our forum is already popular! There aren't much forums that get these, you know. Wink

So Google bot - every site gets them. But if it's barely active, it needs approximately one month to get this bot visiting.
Yahoo bot - need a bit of hard work on advertising and inviting and getting members and posting.
Microsoft, msn, bing.com - POPULAR. :D Yay Teen Titans Fanbase!

My random news is that imma moving so I won't be on as much as I'd like the next couple weeks. Granted we might be moving only ten miles but I'll be closer to school. It is a two story though so I'll be able to stay up later on the cb! =D
