Yeah, things have gotten busy, been planning on posting in the rp. Doubt anyone really cared for it aside us.

Yeah, the whole Role Playing section is deader than last year's cat.

The only thing I could think of is doing something that would let people throw in their OCs, but frankly, I hate people's OCs.

Yep, everyone has a Mary Sue Gary Stew. Honestly can't get past some of my old posts in the roleplay here and there.

Yeah... I like to pretend I didn't do some of the things I did in some of my first RPs...

I guess I can't really cast stones, but really; I mean, even the mainstream comics read like bad fan fiction these days.

Dude, there are pleanty of fanfics that read way better than mainstream comics. Of course there will always be those shining examples of comics that take everything as a serious art form like Watchmen.

I'm actually tempted to start a new RP, open to anyone and everyone all the OCs welcome from worst to best.

The caveat? In joining to agree I have supreme GMing authority over combat.

The point? Me using everyone from Killer Moth & Condiment King to Deathstroke and Dr. Light to beat up on a whole bunch of fan-characters until they either die or learn to play intelligently.

I wish we could do that if more people were interested in the forums again.

Yeah, and even if we did get new people I doubt half of them would even know Condiment King is a real character; and a real threat. You try getting chilli sauce in your scaly underoos and see how lightly you take him.

Pft.. if a guy named Penguin can be a real thread, anyone could. Plus a quick google images copy-paste could do the trick. How would have the chance for more traffic?

I have learned not to assume that people on the internet use the internet to search for stuff. I don't understand it, but it isn't apparently regular behavior.

I don't know how to increase traffic. Regular updates maybe, more shipping fan fiction. We could find other forums and invite people from there to here.

That is odd… I think people would only think you're bad at making villains if you roleplayed the Condiment King.

It sounds like the second option is more desirable, personally. Shipping fanfiction will only bring the type of people I don't want to invite. Yet, I can't be picky.

*er-hem* in keeping with the current conversation & giving my own two cents, in my opinion, prehaps the forrum is a bit TOO broad in it's focus. If we narrowed ourselves to a more specific focus/audience we might draw more of a crowd; for instance, if we themed the site more towards, say, Batman, what with the recent release of Origins and all, we might be able to get a grip on some fans.

And I also agree that we should get our names out- reaching out to older members and inviting them back wouldn't hurt, but that's just my idea. Maybe make some youtube stuff or something? I also really like the idea of putting out our names on other sites too.

It may be a good idea to switch from shotgun to sniper, I just think this site will need another redesign if we do that.

I don't know what we could do to nab attention via youtube. It seems Twitter and Facebook seem to be more liable options.

True, a re-design might be called for in such a case, but we can all work together for that.

And I just threw out Youtube as an example, any of those social sites would probably work well. I just wouldn't know HOW to employ those...

Maybe we should just return to the Titans >_> it seems to get people passionate over.

Yeah, I was suprised in a recent conversation with some buddies to see just how many people were STILL big fans of the original show. And of course there's like, a whole damn wall of TT stuff at Hot Topic. Was TOTALLY suprised to see that the other day.

BTW Guess what? I just learned that Teen Titans, and 23 other of the 52 New 52 Titles has been canceled, canned, ended, etc.

Teen Titans Go! is doing better than Nu52's Teen Titans; I hear it's getting a second season.

Now if that doesn't tell you something about the state of the Nu52, I don't think you can be helped.

I suppose. New 52 has been around for three years now, if you haven't formed your opinions on it by now, I don't know what to tell you.

My main reason why I prefer Dice Games.

So far I only watched the first two minutes of this, and it makes sense.

I've been rereading some of our old roleplays and I realized that no one wanted to lose so when it came time to get into a fight, we would just write things that just didn't make sense and we would skip posts, and no one was really oragnized.

A universal rule by the dice would have helped.
