Example:
Tell us where would you go in a zombie invasion and why.

I would go to an oil rig because zombies can't get to it easily at all. The large space also gives room for entertainment, others, food and transportation.

Simple as that.

I'd go to an abandoned isle. Hard to get to, (TAKE THAT ZOMBIES!) but roomy enough for some storage and other people. Plus, we might start a whole new civilization! =0

If we're going off of World Was Z or the Zombie Survival Guide then I'd say that I'd go with the top floor of a three story home, with the stairs properly destroyed. This would only last a short while however, as supplies last only so long.

Again, if we're going off of those books, then water is not safe because zombies have no need to breathe and there are an unknown nuber of zombies wandering around down there and/or bloating up and floating to the surface.

Boats CAN be pretty safe in deep water though.

Yes but I think an oil rig would work just fine unless the zombies could climb onto it, and if by chance the waters are calm and it can get onto it. But even so, one or two lucky zombies are no threat

I'd go to Greenland. Too cold for zombies.

Oil rigs are actually brought up as a very good place to hold up, but has a very serious draw back. Oil Rigs take a lot of training to use, and have a tendency to blow up sometimes even with experts on board. They also have the drawback of supplies eventually running out, but being far away from places to restock.

But if the place were powered down so as to not blow up, and a boat was around to get us back to land eventually, I'd be down with an oil rig.

Where would you go in an Zombie Invasion?

Well, I definitely would not want to be left alone, so I'd go to my school, since its in walking distance, and blockade myself in the Gym, like all the other high schoolers would do. And if the Zombie's breach the Gym, I'll head over to the Cafeteria, while the Zombie's are pre-occupied with eating everyone else, and lock myself in the Cafeteria's kitchen, survivng on whatever food is in there. XD

Actually, large stores like Wal-Mart and Publix often have a secondary floor overseeing the whole store, where the employees hang out when they're on break and make fun of the idiots that are shopping there. It's hiding up behind the really tall facade with the store name on it, usually.

Not to mention the high, open ceilings, and the HUGE supply of food.

Just so you all know, I was thinking about this thread today in class and didn't realize I had gotten called on. Thank you for almost getting me in trouble.
