If you could get your hands on some needles and thread, free time could consist of repairing clothes or making new ones

I would most likely try to find something to draw. Also cell phone hockey sounds fun too.

How would you off yourself?

You're surrounded by flesh eating zombies, they want to do nothing but to tear your flesh from the marrow of your bones and they're eventually going to get to you. Would you let them do it just to feel the experience like a badass? Or would you take the easy way out? Either way it's up to you and there's many ways you can do it. Say you're in building, you can jump, or if you're waiting to get eaten you could cut yourself.

A morbid but realistic zombie situation question.

I would probably die giving others a chance to run away.

That sort of defeats the purpose of the question... What I meant was: say you're the only one left. All your friends, family, or acquaintances are dead or a zombie. You're trapped and the only way out is suicide.

How will you kill yourself?

Ah, well that does change things. I'd probably shoot myself in the head.

depends on the time:

a few minutes:
light some explosives and take out as many as i can with me

few seconds:
shoot myself in the head

Probably shoot my self in the head, but if I was on top of a large building or at the edge of a cliff, I would jump off head first. So I can feel a last bit of freedom.

Hmm. Because Im a TOTAL COWARD, I would use pills. Since I probably can't find pills, poison of some sort. Then, I'll sleep. And hopefully just pass away peacefully like that.

Since I'm going to become a zombie soon anyway, I'll go and kill as many of them as I can before I stop feeling like myself. Then, if I have any comrades left I'll ask them to kill me.

If nobody is left with me I suppose I'll just die fighting.

Huh. Assuming I got bit on a limb I would chop it off and try to seal it. If I got bit on my neck or body, I would most likely want to know what it would be like to be a zombie. Slowly tuuuuurrnnnnn.....

I'd go zombie, I've always wondered if my ego would survive death.

If I was with a group, I'd probably leave, so as not to endanger them. If it was a slow spreading virus, id leave in the middle of the night, leaving a note in someone's pack while they were asleep, so they would know what happened. Probably would leave all my supplies for them to use. Then I would try and look for a nice, quiet area and wait to turn...

If it was a fast acting virus, I would drop all my stuff for group, including weapons (this is all assuming that I was with people) and take off running, trying to draw the zombies away.

I have a question.

It's some indeterminately long amount of time after Z-Day. Civilized society has fallen, cities are death nexuses, the few remaining humans exist as more or less unconnected nomadic band filled with paranoia and distrust etc etc

Where would you go, and how would you get there?
