End Roleplay discussion-

Last Night Two Roleplays have come to an epic closure; "New Titans" RP (commonly referred to as ARP from the creator abreu7) and "Gotham City's Midnight Riders" RP (or MRP for yours truly). With both of them being by far the most popular RPs on the site, both over 3000 posts each and over 7000 in total; its high-time we discuss its high points in the story arcs, and its low points where no one liked it. Every RP faces those times.

It can be a general discussion about the RPs as well, favorite scenes, funny scenes, tragic, and touching scenes that spoke to you; also note that several other RPs have ended including TheDeceiverGod's Bonza RP and Ty's, Ty's RP. Open discussion encouraged!

U forgot Red's rp was dead. Why are all these dying now?

Well most RPs die, but I made an effort to end it. There's a difference. Red's RP never concluded, and it died because everyone failed to post in it (rest in peace.. I liked that one ;-;....) And Abby and myself made an effort to wrap up the story and bring it to an epic conclusion.

Just what was wrong with Red's RP anyways?! I really did enjoy it!

But yeah, Here is my boil down:
Mercy's RP-
highs: Very interactive, lots of characters and a an awesome plot, and ended with a stunning conclusion. If I could re-do any of them exactly as- is, it would be this one.
Lows: Ben made me sh*t myself, I couldn't watch 'Ben 10' for a week. But the RP in and of itself gets no complaints.

Abby's RP-
Highs:A good RP, it allowed a lot of interesting characters and paved the way for Mercy's RP, which was mor eor less the sequel. Seeing as hwo this was ht efirst RP I DIDN'T play Slade in, I thoroughly enjoyed it, and it had a fine mix of serious and silly moments.
Lows: Huh, not a lot of lows to speak of.

TDG's RP-
Highs- My first RP, I have a special spot for this one. The story with each character was juicy, the fights were awesome, and the characters seemed so realistic it was amazing.
Lows- My only low about it was that we never got to finish it.

Ty's RP-
Highs-Similar to TDG's RP, but a bit less dark here and there. I also enjoyed this one.
Low- Again, never got to finish it.

MY Rp
Highs- uh...
Lows- Never got off the ground. It died pretty quick and I would have LOOOOOOOOOOVED to go to town with it. Oh well, it made me work all that much harder on the new one I'll be posting. One door closes to open another and all that.

Well I think Charm messed MRP for the most of us. We had some people drop out on the roleplay because of him. Though I think there just had to be some other points where people decided to give up. We had about 30 characters and only 13 or 14 came out in the end. Adela, Syran, Kahna, and Carafrost were some characters that were dropped all together among others. Though I can't put my finger on it.. Must have just been boring at points.

In the time I was in Ab's RP it was so lively and active that I think it was the single most amazing roleplay that in essense shut down activity in both Deceiver's and Ty's RPs. The sheer freewill everyone had in that RP was one reason why it did so well. I then was able to mooch off some of its themes and make an RP of my own and made it 4 years later. Of course without permission

Deceiver's RP had a major downfall. I believe what slowed everything down drastically was the posting order. When people posted everyone was like "I can't wait 24 hours for so and so to post! POOOOST!!" Yes the start of that RP was so massive that everyone exploded into RP maddness and it inspired every single RP on this forum up to date, but because some posters made up a whole bunch of weird trippy stories (9 different colored beast boys running around sounds like an acid trip to me) people demanded for it to slow down. That's when Ty made his own RP.

Ty's RP was basically a mockoff of Deceiver's RP. Check the rules and its more than an inspiration. It did well because it was side by side with Deceiver's RP. Everyone lost interest in it because of how well ARP did.

Red's RP was intended as a remake of Deceiver's RP and the only reason no one posted in it was because of the massive flux of new RPs that have been going around. Snow forgot her Role as Cyborg so I guess that says something on how others seemed more active in other places......

Guess I should say somethings too cause RPs where my main source of my posts XP!

Starting from the first one

AB's RP: Well, what can I say, it was apic! Being my first real RP, I can say that it will always have a special place in my heart, near the left atrium is about where its at. Everyone was pretty much using their first OC's and the connection that was formed MADE the RP what it was. I must say that this RP improved my writing skills. I applaud everyone who took part in it because its the RPers that truelly make the RP great. Especially the addicts and insomniacs XP. Thank you AB for being such an awesome RP head and coming up with the best RP-in my opinion- of this site.

Mercy's RP: The perfect sequal. Ever. Seriously, "Batman is dead and Gotham is unprotected, who will save them?!", pure genius right there. Amazing plot, great character developements, complete randomness here and there, what more could a RPer ask for!? But, yes, Charm messed up parts of the RP.. BUT! The RPers managed to worm their way out of it and move on. Great job guys, he deserved what ever happened to him >_>. The conclusion was just so fitting and perfect and awesome and apic. I can't wait for the sequal to this one, it shall be just as APIC as the two before it :3!

Mrp- Awesome. Pure epicness! The characters were so wide and varied, the plot got lost somewhere along the way but resurfaced eventually, there were serious times and BS posting times....It was an amazing blend of humor, mystery, action, adventure and insanity. Well done Mercy!

TDG's Rp- Wasn't in it.
Ty's Rp- See above.
Red's RP- It was good while it lasted. Sorry it didn't have a really long run.
Riri's Rp-Let's try and revive it. Get the mad scientist and the lightning!

TDG RP: Ditto as Ab, wasn't in it. Though I was new here when it started up and was 2 shy 2 join.
Ty RP: I'm not the best BB rper. Though Karm as Cy and me as BB made me laugh my socks off.
Red RP: Liked the plot, never posted =(
Rir RP: I can't really post until who ever the Joker is does so... yeah
Ty's other rp: Dead b4 it even started
Shade's rp: Never started
Red's bro's rp: Confusing but fun so far.

Your RPs vanish becasue nobody posts in them but you, and the last post was over a week ago .___.

Yeah, in really inactive RPs with no views and no posts its considered as clutter.

On a side note, several RPs seem to be dying off, but of these, SNM is the one I'm saddest to see going. If it had been properly maintained and had a definite RP-overlord, it could have been incredible, but sadly, it outlived its prime and seems to have died off...

Should we lock it and pronounce it dead o_o?

As much as I hate to say it, we should lock it. Now that I think about it it was my first rp too. v_v dang why good things end...

For the sake of putting a good ramble up here, I think Karm's RP, Dawn of the Titans, was awesome. I would have loved to see where it went. The plot, characters, fightscenes..... in my opinion, superbly done.
