Dragon Cave RP

(See, this is why people need to, like... post more often. XD People like me and Germs who have no life end up going through like three pages while everyone else is gone.)

My gaze cooled slightly. "I.. appreciate the offer," I said warily, "but I am more than capable of handling most situations myself."
"And she prefers to, most of the time, crazy woman that she is," Lynn muttered, mostly to herself, though she was watching the others carefully.

"Oh, hey." Canderous replied cautiously to Adela. After the day's earlier.... excitement, he was unsure of Adela, but still willing to trust her.

Understandable.." wolf said and slowly turned around and walked.

I started to turn away, but hesitated. I knew I should not say anything, however...
"Is something the matter?" Lynn asked Adela and Canderous. "Forgive me, I could not help but overhear. But if someone is hurt..." She looked at me. I sighed. "I am skilled in the art of healing. Lynn, is it just me, or are you the one that keeps pushing me farther into all of this?"

I looked over towards Canderous and glanced up at Lilith whom was still fiddling with her sword. So I got up and laid down next to Canderous and his sister watching Adela. Lilith slid down my back next to me and seethed her sowrd. Dukine snugled in against me and I smiled. I looked up at Canderous and Adela. "Hey mind if I...we join you?" I asked politely while Lilith sat down silent. I could neevr really tell her expression but always her emotions.

wolf climbed on the back of thunder and turned to see everyone. His eyes flashed white and stared at everyone. "Come on we should go.." wolf said in a cold saddened voice. wolf's dragon lifted her wings and bolted in the sky leaving a rolling thunder in the distance.

"Or not," Lynn muttered, keeping it in her own mind.
"It's alright," I said, patting her shoulder. I wonder where they're going, I thought to myself, watching Thunder and Wolf leave. And perhaps more importantly... why?

wolf glanced back at everyone and cringed leaving them behind without telling anyone why he left. He was a loner on the outside but truly he wanted to stay with his friends but he couldn't more important issues were at hand.

I blinked my eyes and glanced at Canderous but quickly looked away. I climbed onto Drake's back and awaited the next action to be made was. I wasn't sure what I was feeling sad, shy, gloomy. uncertain, or confused. At this point I didn't care I was bored and wanted to be home even though part of me liked it here. I put my hood up and sighed petting Drake's neck.

"Well, he didn't cut off my arms...so maybe." Zhiev said with a small smile.
"Of course he can't; he's barely standing up on his own..." Shade muttered as he slid into Winter's shadow.
"But I suppose I'll just be ready to catch him if he falls..." he added quietly and quickly. Zhiev gave a small smile as Winter picked him up and placed him on his back.

"Hey," Lynn said, nudging me.
"What?"
"Everyone seems to be setting up to leave. One way or another, we should probably stay close."
"Good point," I muttered, leaping up onto her back. "I still wonder where we're going, though. Then again, I suppose we'll find out soon enough."

wolf landed in a distant woods and leaped off of thunder's back and landed on the ground with a thud. "Where are you?" wolf cried out. "you wanted me to meet you here so show yourself." A dark and ominous figure slowly appeared out of the trees. "You came...that's a good little doggy." The voice cracked a cackle and bored its red eyes into wolf's. "I need you to do something for me and I need it done swiftly." The voice said. "What is it? What do you require of me?" wolf said in reluctance.

wolf nodded and reluctantly mounted his dragon and flew off towards the group again looking for one person in particular.

"Yes, where did you go?" Lynn asked, thoroughly curious, as I leapt up onto her back.
"And why," I muttered to myself, noting how Wolf seemed somehow different, emotionally if nothing else. Something didn't feel right here.

wolf was high up in the sky looking down at everyone but yet invisible as well. "I don't like this...but if I don't do it everyone will pay the price.."

Canderous watched the spectacle. "What's going on, spook?" He asked, getting an uneasy feeling...

wolf notched his bow with an arrow and aimed it down at one of the dragon riders aiming carefully not to kill them but to stun them enough to capture them.

Canderous knew all to well when someone was about to soemhting bad, so he drew his knives, watching all aorund for any telltale sign of movement...

wolf launched his arrow at Adela first knocking her out coldly followed by a crack of thunder. He notched another one wincing as he took aim at another one.

With a single tear streaming down his face he shot down Canderous and Astrid before they could get on Delano.

As Candeorus passed out, only one thoght went into his mind:
I hate this job.
[short, I know ._.;]

I cursed vehemently, then swiftly muttered an incantation under my breath, throwing a magical shield over myself, the dragons, and of course the other riders, that would deflect any more incoming projectiles. I leaped down off of Lynn's back, snatching a length or two of rope from her saddle, and sprinting to Canderous. Gently, but with ease, I took him from Delano's claws, heaved him onto the dragon's back and began carefully tying him and Adela to the dragon's back. "Forgive me for the intrusion," I muttered hastily, then turned and snatched up Astrid and ran back to Lynn, putting first the girl and then myself into the saddle. Both of us looked around, waiting, making sure no one else was hurt, or hit, or would be left behind.
"What is going on around here?!" Lynn asked harshly. "I swear I can feel Thunder up above us, but that cannot be right...."

lol "i hate this job" XD priceless. (btw sorry for doing this yall but...you'll see why here in a moment if that's cool with you all oo;;; i hope...oo;;; ) wolf notched another arrow and paused looking at the barrier. "No...." He winced and said but in a way he was also glad that the barrier was up.

Lynn turned to the sky and let out a savage roar; it was clearly challenge and defiance to whoever had caused this. I shivered; being this close, it terrified even me.
"You're right. We should go. Quickly. I can't keep up this barrier forever!"
"Delano..." Lynn spoke quietly into the other dragon's mind, keeping the thought hidden from any other but me.

A piercing voice rang in wolf's ears. Either you take them out now. Or I will..and I won't be so nice about it...wolf winced and charged up this arrow to break through the barrier.
