Meant to be broken[underway]

Callicsh grew hungry. There was no food left in the mansion, so the only thing to do was to go out into the streets of Jump City. He would need protection first though. Sitting outside he focused his energy. A raven came swooping down and onto his shoulder. Then another. Crows flapped in, standing by. Soon there were birds surrounding him, in every corner. He walked into town hoping not to encounter whatever had left this mess behind.

The Monster commander stood in the peculiar red mist. Really, of all the colors, why use RED smoke on a RED foe? The alien did however, have dificulty finding Mist, sohe took a deep wiff of the air. "Where are you, filthy vermin?" He snarled, his sword at the ready.

Downtown, the commander's fellow Monsters stood over the smoldering wreck of what had once been Town Hall. "Inform the Commander- this city is as good as ours." One of them said with a sneer.

"No uglies crawling around," Rift muttered to himself. "But what's with the smoke?" The air was thick and opaque with red wetness; he could only see a feet ahead of himself.

He started cautiously into the street.

Alex observed the chaos in the city down below. She didn't honestly give a crap wether or not the aliens took over the city- she really didn't. However, she was hired for the purpose of combating them, so she had little choice. She emerged from the shadows into the streets, where all hell was breaking loose. "Come 'n get me, sorry freaks!" She taunted.

Timekeeper continued to watch from afar, hoping that one of those ghastly creatures wouldn't come her way. Just in case though, she withdrew her bayonet knife and held it on top of her cane.

A bird landed on Timekeeper's cane...

Timekeeper looked down at the bird and tilted her head in curiosity. "Well well well, where did you come from?" she held out her finger to draw the bird near.

"I wouldn't touch that if I were you." Callicsh said approaching her, strutting with forced steps on the ground and four or five other birds following him.

Slade, whom had managed to elude the brutal Monster commander, managed to slip into the darkness of a nearby building. 'There are too many of them to combat alone, I must rethink this...' he thought to himself. However, as he made his way stalthily around the building, he noticed several people atop a nearby building- and, oddly enough, several birds. Slade clambored up the fire-escape lader, making his way to the rooftop where Timekeepr and Callicsh were...

"Oh? And why wouldn't I want to touch this little divil?" Timekeeper said, crossing her hands over her cane. "Names Timekeeper, whats your name fella?"

(Almost forgot about this RP.)

Animator hissed. "Why are we what? Fighting? Because, you get under my skin. And you clothes seemed to be doing a good job ripping off your's." A smirk danced across her lips as she nonchalantly leaned against a wall.

"Callcish, Albert Callicsh." he said calling the bird back to his arm and looking over the edge of the building.

Timekeepers hazel eyes watched Callcish from under her hat. "Nice to meet yer. Any idea whats with the uglies?" she limped over to him, leaning heavily on her cane.

"SImply put, they're beasts looking for a quick meal." Slade relied, emerging formt he shadows nearby. Was he rude in interupting? Yes. Did he care? No.

"Let me guess." Timekeeper eyed Slade. "With that gettup and that tone, I'd say a header like you has got to be the fella Slade." she smirked. "From what I've seen, you seem to be going heroic, not quite the nutter I've heard about."

"You misunderstand me- I am mereley crushing my oponents so that I may take this city with out rival. These worhtless roaches just happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time." Slade explained. He didn't plan to be shown up by a bunch of Aliens.

"Rightio hon. And how exactly do you plan to defeat a batch of beasties like that lot?" Timekeeper replied, tapping the top of her cane patiently.

"So what... you're going to show them who's boss around here? Impressive indeed, but I doubt you can stop them yourself." Callicsh remarked. "I'll offer my help if you're under my lead." He said rather selfishly.

"Sorry," Timekeeper grinned. "I don't take orders from pr*cks. If yer blather wasn't too annoying and if you grew a pair, I might listen to ya. And tha's a big if. "

"No." Slade siad flatly. he didn't work for other people- he would rather aliens ate him slowly and painfuly that take orders from someone, much less soemone he didn't know.

"You both are making a big mistake, this is a one time offer." He said slowly taking his glasses from his eyes. "If you won't take my help then what do you plan to do? Wait for them to devour you whole?"

"Perhaps they will give me the plreasure of wathcing them eat you first." Slade said snideley. "What what makes you so sure you could do any better than any of us?" Slade said, biting back the words 'you sniveling arrogant swine.'
