If you happen to have an uncanny skill in writing by all means!

I'm not sure I follow, aren't we waiting on the general concept creator to give us script peons something to do? D:

If thats the case, we can get it started. But i think there are a few more positions that need filling....

I'm itching to get started, so if the general concept maker can throw up some ideas I can start judging them in a harsh way Smile

Thanx...that makes me feel so much better since i am the general concept generator -_- XD

But then again, criticism is more helpful than praise. Smile

Are we gonna start this thang? What other positions need to be filled?! Let's go go go! Titans GO!

Still looking for an Effects Manager, and another Colorist, I sort of just put Dark in that role because he/she didn't object when I asked. So Artists who read this, Effect Management, and Coloring, both need to get done and we'd love to have you as our art slave ahem, employee.

And for those of you who have already joined I would like to show to you one my personal favorite Web Comics Dresden Codak. If we can get even half way to this quality I would be more than impressed. But more for note is the way the panels are broken up, particularly the one I am linking to. Wide shots take up the entire frame, while the more specific shots are smaller, and more specific, and sometimes the image even extends beyond the frame edges, and sometimes the frame edges break up the image. The aesthetic of this is particular comic is especially nice which is why I'm mentioning it. The art is... beyond. But the layout is what I'm hoping rubs off the most, and the text, notice how each character is given a specific color for their text bubble.

For fonts I would recommend paying a vist to DaFont it lets you free download various fonts for free. They have a nice selection, and although I don't know how to apply new fonts myself, I'm sure I could find out somehow.

Font if a very important part of comics, it is in essence, type is the sound of a comic. Which is why I recommend visiting the site and gathering various fonts, if you use them once, you'll find a use for it again.

Yay! BanComicSans! <3
They have alternative fonts to replace comic sans, so if you're working the graphics for the comic then definately check it out.

Well also, and this is merely a suggestion, just a suggestion. I might look into using an individual font for each character's voice. It'd just be another one of those ways to differentiate between Robin and Raven, Cyborg and Beast Boy. Obviously it's not required if there is some other method implemented. But changing the font is another great way to show the influx in the speaker's voice, like if Robin's getting snippy over Slade, maybe rather than just making the font bold and cutting it back a size, you change it over for that portion of the comic. So Robin has a normal font 'voice' and an obsessive font 'voice'.

Again simply a suggestion, just a suggestion.

Lol I'm just saying if I look at Raven saying "Azarath, Metrion, Zinthos!" I can see it being in a grungy or scrpit font.

Colorist it is then.

Still looking for an Effects Artist, and we're not looking for too much here, just someone for like Cyborg's sonic cannon, Raven's powers, explosions etc. They don't have to be phenomenal just there.

Well I can draw explosions and cyborg's sonic cannon, I'm pretty sure that tinkering with the lines turning them white and "paint bucket" filling everything black we'd get a cool raven effect.

I think thats what the general concept generator(me) is for. :D I've got a few storylines in my head already,
But i also have a few questions as well:

Do you want me to make a storyline for the whole comic series, then different storylines, for each episode, that correlate to the main plot of the entire series? or a storyline for one comic episode at a time?

I was thinking a short one comic episode story to start, and then assuming all things go well, a series of 'episodes' that correlates to the main plot of the entire overall plot.

I think it should be done similair to the series, with 'stand alone' episodes (obviously the first would be one) within the middle of a larger plot that is the focus of the 'complex' episodes that make up a season.

Maybe we should make either a writers forum, or a writers thread so we can get organized on this quickly? Smile

Aye. Or Crazy could PM me the concepts and I'll do my critiquing there? I'd feel a bit weird critiqueing in public... Especially since it may come across wrong lol
