Okay, after showing Robin's moment of derp I figure I should share a video I found that had me actually choking up once or twice.

Not sure if I was choking up because of my love of New Frontier and the old comics, or if I was choking up because I know that the heir to this legacy is New 52...

So this is a thing.

What's going on in that cover…?

Don't look at me, the only people I 'recognize' are 'Raven' and Red Robin.

Whoa... That's Raven? I thought that was a guy cause her chest, but her lips looked girly.

That's her New 52 design. I posted a preview of it on here a while ago; though it looks like they decided to go with more fabric than plating for the cloak which I approve of I still don't like the design over all.

I think as far as the breasts go it's supposed to be that her suit is tight enough to flatten her breasts out against her chest rather than ya'know, let them look like breasts, but at this point I've washed my hands of everything new 52.

Yeah, I remember that. I never thought they would never get to her since they didn't get to so many characters so far. I dunno, Raven looks rather manly, save for her lips. Not digging the new Raven design. They could change so much but keep the bare essentials, so at least she's recognizable. I mean The Amazing Spider-Man looks way different but you could tell that's Spider-Man.

I'm just going to say I never liked any cover that had a split down the middle, it's just not appealing. Even good artists do that, like Alex Ross.

I can see the appeal; it does sort of have the dichotomy of light and darkness thing going on (that and Ravens outfit doesn't seem any more different from her regular outfit than Red Robin's is from the traditional "Robin" outfit)

I just question how Raven sees with that helmet on.

Huh… never thought of how she sees. That's a good point. I mean it's not even like a knight's visor…

But I feel that it was different enough that I couldn't recognize her, she lost the hood, you can't see her face, she's wearing plated body armor.

I guess just visually for me, there was too much contrast and it's something I never really liked.

Humans love contrast; it's actually something my art teacher drove into me; but too much contrast makes it too hard to focus on you're right. *shrug*

Anyway we all know my opinion on New 52 designs.

Oh yeah, I mean I have lots of contrast when it comes to color or balance in my art, but where it splits down the middle and there's basically two different images, it's disgusting.

Eh, the hard split sort of adds something for me; though that Battle for the Cowl Cover looks pretty funky, like some old Gestalt transporter accident character or something.

I just noticed, in that Teen Titans cover I posted; Red Robin's hair is super fabulous, and not in a good way. Seriously he's got like anime bangs going on, there's got too be a good two inches of hair sticking out over his forehead.

I found a picture of a Tameranian Green Lantern while I was looking for a picture of Darkseid breaking a Green Lantern's ring & hand.

I think he looks a little goofy in yellow. Kind of takes away from his stature.

Agreed; though Vunderbar is kind of rocking that gold sword.

I'm not sure it qualifies as a 'cool' fact, but we might as well stay up-to-date on what the Titans are up to.

Raven looks a lot like a.... Raven. Huh... interesting, if nothing else. Not sure about the pokey bits though =\
