Where do you go to school?
Nowhere. I graduated with a diploma in Business Administration Accounting. However, I hate ACTUAL accounting so screw getting a designation. I much prefer the busy work of bookkeeping. However, I live in a crap city that was hit hard by the great recession and finding jobs sucks. Which means I work as a hotel night auditor. A position that I am overqualified for, but pays.


Who are your friends?
A small handful of folks whom I don't see nearly enough of because my work life forces me to sleep when they are awake.



What's your life been like lately?
No real complaints. Like I said, need a new job, but I've got a roof over my head and food in my stomach, so it could be much worse.



Does everything you do make you happier?
Oh please, that's an impossibility.



Or more depressed?
I like to think I'm healthy in that respect. Depression is, after all, fairly serious. If ever I was to show signs of it, I would probably go seek professional help.




What are your parents like?
My mother is an amazing woman. She managed to raise me and my sister by herself, while disabled, with a yearly income WELL bellow the poverty line.




What amazing skills do you have that others just don't?
I am an early 20-something that is good with saving and investing money. I have a credit score that rivals people twice my age. While I am FAR from rich, I know how to use what I have wisely instead of blowing it all on useless junk.



Tell me something about yourself that is absolutely interesting!
Between working at a bank in High School, A bowling alley in College and a Hotel now, I have seen and done a lot of awesome things. Including:

Having a money fight. (loading an ATM, my coworker made a dumb joke so I tossed a brick of $20 bills (totaling $10,000) at her.
Sliding down freshly oiled bowling lanes as a human bowling ball. (Warning: I worked there and had the Emergency Kill Switch OFF. Doing this at a bowling lane, even if the lane looks off may KILL YOU.)
As a hotel employ that works midnights, I get a LOT of people calling down asking me to turn on the Porn in their room. I laugh every single time.

lol I'm no master with it :D I'm just good at putting a base, coloring it, giving it a sharp outline, then my friend does the amazing shading It is a hobby of mine, but I wouldn't call it one of my amazing skills; I'm trying to get better though

As for some of my work, I'll post a sketch or something in the art section some time this week. In one of my classes we're takin it easy, so I'll jus doodle n sketch so you have an idea :D and so you can see how much better your work is

Where do you go to school?
I'm currently enrolled in iSchool High, which is a science, technology and mathematics school. It's charter, which means that while it's open to the public and free to go to, only a certain amount of kids are accepted a year and you have to go through an interview process before you're accepted. Laptops are required--if you can't afford one, the school does have a few spare ones--and we're treated more like college kids than high schoolers.
Aside from iSchool High, I've had just about every school experience there is on the list. I've been to the local public school for freshman and sophomore years (which was friggen huge), went to a different charter school for 8th grade (which was evil), was home-schooled 1st-7th grade (after 4th grade, I was teaching myself the majority of the time as mom was busy with my two little sisters and her job) and went to a private school all the years before that.
This is my senior year and I've been accepted into my dream college: Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD)
I have a 4.9 of 5 GPA, am president of the school and am at the top of my class. So. Don't anyone even start telling me home schoolers are dumb/socially challenged. I'll eat you. :3

Who are your friends?
I have a bunch of people I get along with, but, my absolute best/closest friends are undoubtedly:

*Samantha (known her since I was 5)
*Libbie (known her since I was 4)
*Sarah (since I was 5)
*Caitlin (met her in 8th grade)

What's your life been like lately?
Utterly chaotic.
November is the month dad does a TON of traveling for his job (and goes to the hunting lease every weekend), so, that puts me in the position of playing the 'extra parent' role when mom's at work. Cooking dinner, getting my sisters where ever they need to go for the night, helping them with their homework if they need it, dealing with their friends (mostly the youngest sister's), and so on and so forth. I'm also trying to get more hours at my OWN job and finish my college art portfolio to get a scholarship, which is due in the end of December. And mom's being a bit of a dictator about it as I'm not allowed to draw/write anything unless it's relevant to the portfolio. So. Lots of stress. You have no idea how much I want Thanksgiving Break to come. Dx

Does everything you do make you happier?
Not EVERYTHING. xD My job is miserable and as much as I love drawing, I'm often far too critical on myself and end up demeaning myself and then feeling all....lacking of self worth. Yay.
But aside from that, I'm typically an extremely optimistic person. So, yeah. a great majority of the things I do make me happy. <:] Can't wait for horseback riding tonight to help me vent.

Like I said, my job depresses me, sometimes my art depresses me aaand..yeah. Those last two are kinda hard to answer as a generalized statement.

What are your parents like?
My Dad's pretty cool. He has freaking high expectations for me...AKA, if I get so much as an 89, he wants to know "what went wrong" or if I actually studied or whatever. He's also trying to get me to get a second job (HA Dx) and sometimes I wonder if he really understands/cares about my horseback riding life and/or my art. >.> Meh. *shrug* But he's very supportive, real understanding when I need someone to talk to, and just flat out hilarious. Unfortunately, I don't get to hang out with him a lot 'cause he's normally busy with work or driving Katie to soccer practices and games since she's his sports kid. :/
Mom's a real nutcase (in a good way, I promise) and I enjoy talking to her and stuff when I get the chance. She's good for advice and ranting about your day. Buuut, she can be a bit over the top and worry about stuff WAAAAY too much and often thinks I'll do bad in school just like she did...so. Yeah. >.>

What amazing skills do you have that others just don't?
....um. I can get an entire plot for a story by just listening to one song? xD ...and I can walk on my toes all day if I wanted to. ...and normally I do, which drives my dad crazy. But yeah, I've been walking on my toes since I COULD walk. No one knows why I do, I just walk on my toes instead of flat-flooted by nature. It's lead to some flipping HUGE calf muscles which lead to me being called "man-calves" in the girls locker room in 9th-10th grade >_> ....they were all just jealous that I could march better in the band 'cause of superior leg muscle. Yeah, that's it

Uuuuuh <xD
Because of an allergic reaction when I was a baby--and because my calf muscles are stronger than my thigh muscles--my knee caps aren't in the right alignment with the rest of my leg. They're actually off to the outer-sides on the edge of the little groove they're supposed to be in. This has made me slightly duck (splay)-footed, meaning that my lower legs twist outward and cause my feet to be pointed away from my body mass (aka, opposite of pigeon-toed). My knees even bend into each other a little. It hurts to run long periods of time or too hard, and it's sort of caused me to be very restless. If I sit/stand in one position for too long, I experience a great level of discomfort in my knees. AND (gosh) it also causes my knees to pop EVERY time I bend them, whether it's just curling up, squatting kneeling, etc. This hurts. Especially in the morning. ...makes me feel old. :l

Where to begin.? Where to begin?

School is a sensitive subject for me I suppose, I took about a half year of college and realized a bit too late that I was unable to stick with it ( Money Wise of course). In the time I was able to go to college I went to two community colleges, not the best of course but still schoolin' none the less. I have had minimum success in school however it stems from my passion for my art, as much as I love history and forensics I loved doodling in class so much more.

I would like to think I was a social butterfly, but I am painfully shy with new people. All the friends I have are either siblings or ones I have known for many years. Although I have a boy friend I do not see him as often as I would like, I'm rather pleased that it seems we are bros before we are...well not hos...well you know what I mean! I seem to do rather well with making friends under the age of 15 though.

I tend to not let myself get too overwhelmed by things in the moment but as of late my life has been rather hectic. At the risk of being shipped off via Army or whatever other military group my land lady/mom can find I am in search of a full time job to pay for myself and my dog. But I enjoy what I have and who I get to be around so I would say my life has been Stressful on a bearable level.

Not everything I do makes me happier, I have a bad habit of laziness and self-sabotage but I am generally a very happy person. I'm easily amused and distracted by things that I like. Joining this forum for example was nerve wracking to do but I know that I will love it here. Art is my main passion though I have not the finances to pursue it to it's fullest, but I draw constantly to hone my skills and express myself.

I would say that things I do don't depress me so much as things about life do. I am alone a lot, more then is healthy and it allows me to sit and stew about depressing thoughts, I tend to have a sense of humor about everything however and for the most part my depression never lasts.

My parents are divorced, I live with my mother who is what most might call a Nazi. I'm in debt to her up to my ears and it's...though living with a Type A person when you're Type B....if you could categorize people so easily. My father lives with his wife and my three half sisters, he's a hard core christian man and an even harder worker, though he wasn't always and never lets me forget how sorry he is that he wasn't part of my childhood. Love em both to death.....literally.

I would like to think my ability to draw differentiates me from others but I am no where near on par with some of the artists out and about in the world, I have been drawing since I was three however, and have not stopped since. I would like to think I was funny as well...but everyone thinks they're funny so I doubt that means I'm bringing anything new to the table. I may not be the sharpest tack in the box but I'm fairly certain I'm up there with the average smarties, research is my ultimate vice, give me a DC characters name and I can have everything you'd want to know about him/her.

Hah! Haven't I rambled about the glories of myself enough? Alright then I'll indulge you. I can imitate the sounds and behaviorism' of about 10 or more different types of animals. I have boundless knowledge of dog breeds. Animals is my shtick mostly, I'm afraid I'm not as interesting as all my boundless dog knowledge makes me seem. All I can say is that as a child of younger then 7 and older then 5 I had a extortion ring going on in the playgrounds of my pre-school.

In the time I was able to go to college I went to two community colleges, not the best of course but still schoolin' none the less. I have had minimum success in school however it stems from my passion for my art, as much as I love history and forensics I loved doodling in class so much more.

I would like to think I was a social butterfly, but I am painfully shy with new people. All the friends I have are either siblings or ones I have known for many years. Although I have a boy friend I do not see him as often as I would like, I'm rather pleased that it seems we are bros before we are...well not hos...well you know what I mean! I seem to do rather well with making friends under the age of 15 though.

I tend to not let myself get too overwhelmed by things in the moment but as of late my life has been rather hectic. At the risk of being shipped off via Army or whatever other military group my land lady/mom can find I am in search of a full time job to pay for myself and my dog. But I enjoy what I have and who I get to be around so I would say my life has been Stressful on a bearable level.

Not everything I do makes me happier, I have a bad habit of laziness and self-sabotage but I am generally a very happy person. I'm easily amused and distracted by things that I like. Joining this forum for example was nerve wracking to do but I know that I will love it here. Art is my main passion though I have not the finances to pursue it to it's fullest, but I draw constantly to hone my skills and express myself.

I would say that things I do don't depress me so much as things about life do. I am alone a lot, more then is healthy and it allows me to sit and stew about depressing thoughts, I tend to have a sense of humor about everything however and for the most part my depression never lasts.

My parents are divorced, I live with my mother who is what most might call a Nazi. I'm in debt to her up to my ears and it's...though living with a Type A person when you're Type B....if you could categorize people so easily. My father lives with his wife and my three half sisters, he's a hard core christian man and an even harder worker, though he wasn't always and never lets me forget how sorry he is that he wasn't part of my childhood. Love em both to death.....literally.

I would like to think my ability to draw differentiates me from others but I am no where near on par with some of the artists out and about in the world, I have been drawing since I was three however, and have not stopped since. I would like to think I was funny as well...but everyone thinks they're funny so I doubt that means I'm bringing anything new to the table. I may not be the sharpest tack in the box but I'm fairly certain I'm up there with the average smarties, research is my ultimate vice, give me a DC characters name and I can have everything you'd want to know about him/her.

Hah! Haven't I rambled about the glories of myself enough? Alright then I'll indulge you. I can imitate the sounds and behaviorism' of about 10 or more different types of animals. I have boundless knowledge of dog breeds. Animals is my shtick mostly, I'm afraid I'm not as interesting as all my boundless dog knowledge makes me seem. All I can say is that as a child of younger then 7 and older then 5 I had a extortion ring going on in the playgrounds of my pre-school.

I can mimic a sheep, just need to go watch how they behave for two minutes and then I got it! I did draw my own avatar. You read the military part correctly. I am really grateful to you and the others for making my first day in the chatbox welcoming.

Hmmm.. This is harder than I thought.. O_O

Well, school is a very sensitive topic in my house. My parents prefer not to hear about it unless I have screwed up in some way. I love the classes I'm taking, for the most part. Unfortunately, they are all difficult in their own way, and I'm having a hard time flat out showing my professors I'm giving it my all; they don't see it thought for some reason, so go figure. Still, I love the people I have met and the clubs I'm either in or running are a ton of fun because they keep my mind occupied.

I'm not that social of a person. To be honest, I'm quite shy and pretty quiet, although I'm trying to "come out of my shell." My friends range all over the spectrum of age and personalities, however. Still, my relationship with the majority of them isn't what most people would call a "true friendship." I know these people, and if I am bored/lonely I can always hit one of them up and do something with them. Oddly enough, I love being alone though. I do have one amazing friend who utterly and completely stands out. Her name is Kylie and she seems to be the only person out there who I can 100% be myself around. It's also really strange that we look so much alike O_O

My life has been alright so far. Like everyone else, problems come up, and I desperately need to vent when they arise. If I leave my mind to ponder what is causing me to be mad/sad, I swear, I would go crazy.

I try to make choices that make me happy, but I'm admittedly a very strange person. I make a choice, making myself feel better for the first 10 minutes after making said decision, and after that I ask myself, "Why the hell did I just do that?" An example would be I got asked to a dance at school by one of my friends. I turned him down because I wanted to just laze around an empty house and maybe go for a walk in the evening. When I saw all the pictures of the dance the day after, however, I cursed myself for being so antisocial. Yeah, I don't get it either

My parents argue way more than they should, so I'd prefer not to discuss them until I fully respect and love them for what they do.

Because of my loner personality, I am very quiet. Therefore, I'm very quick and good at listening and picking up on what people say. I think to myself A LOT.. I guess you could call it meditating almost anytime and anywhere. My deductive reasoning makes even me proud at time :] Oh, and I love photography!
