Gotham City's Midnight Riders (ENDED)

Ever since TheDeceiverGod's ever so popular Role Play method has sparked in the forums, the style hasn't died down since. Now I expect everyone to read the rules before posting your character sheets. It is vital that you do so, we will all be on the same page and no one will be asking any questions regarding what we can and cannot do in this Role Play. A general rule that doesn't need to be brought up is not to post one sentence posts. If you're going to post, put time thought and effort in each post. Make sure your grammar is c
proper above all!


Rule 1 - Respect Each Other
There will be no flaming or insulting each other. If you can't follow this simple rule just once you will no longer be able to take part in this Role Play.

Rule 2 - No Ridiculous Characters
When you post your character sheet for your Original Character, make sure that your character isn't God-Incarnate. Invincibility is boring and cheap, and common, even Superman has his weaknesses that is apparently overabundant. Really don't overpower your character!

Rule 3 - No Spotlight
Making yourself better than everyone else and creating an arch for yourself is self-centered and conceited. Simply put, no main characters. Don't be a jerk to everyone.


When posting your character sheets I expect you to go into fine detail with them, down to the very hair. I expect nothing less than every weapon you intend to use and every power you possess, give me a good back story and make it sound convincing. Nothing cliché!! I want it to be so detailed I won't have any hard time drawing your character. Good examples for character creations comes from TheDecieverGod. He is a role model in this particular section. -Killing is aloud as long as both members agree to it, but then the character who died can create a new character for replacement.
-Dual Characters is only aloud if you plan on playing as an Original Teen Titans Character (Robin, Cyborg, etc.) just be sure to make a character sheet for that the character you plan to dual with.
-Regaurding Costumes! No T-shirt and Jeans! Sorry guys, but I want you to look like superheroes in tights.

History/Origins: Born in Canada and raised in Utah, Syren sang every time she could. Her brother, Ronnan, taught her gituar. One day at her band's (Neptune's Angels) gig, her voice got so high she broke all the windows, and sent some people flying. A few days later the same thing happened with her gituar. Ronnan told her she should become a super hero, but she didn't want to. He died in a car crash the next day. So moving from city to city, Syren has made a name for herself as a heroine.

Powers: Ivy can control nature, and items that come from nature(Though that is more difficult for her.) She hasn't discovered the full potential of her powers yet, but when she does she'll be able to create monsters from the elements and turn herself INTO the elements. She also can speak to animals.

Weaknesses: Ivy can lose her temper and control of her powers. She has a tender spot near her forehead, a hit there and she is knocked out. She is also still every bit human, and can die just as easily as any other human.

Appearance: Ivy has straight black hair just over her shoulder, tanned skin, and eyes so dark brown they sometimes seem black. She wears a light green, long-sleeved leotard embroidered with dark green leaf designs on the sides. When dressed casually, she prefers a simple green T-shirt and jeans. When dressed formally, she wears black pants and a light blue long sleeved blouse.

Life Story:Ivy was born to Lisa and Jake Manti. Her powers of nature come from Poisen Ivy. At birth, she was going to die but Poisen Ivy used a serum to bring her to life. She then made her parents promise that, at the age of 13, Poisen Ivy would come to reclaim Ivy as her apprentice. At age 8, Ivy accediantly learned of her powers (By freezing her toys.) and was curious of them ever since. She found out about her parent's pact to Poisen Ivy and fled. She escaped into the woods, and found herself quite at home there. She stayed there for most of her life, hidden away from Poisen Ivy. At 13, she was found by wandering titan Kid Flash and recruited to the titans.Using her powers for good, they blossomed into much more than anything Poisen Ivy could do.

General-Starfire possesses a fairly light, elongated build, yet despite her unusual appearance & alien culture she remains a rather attractive and cute, young girl.



Abilities

Physical abilities
Tamaranean Solar Absorption: Starfire's alien physiology constantly absorbs ultraviolet radiation and converts it to energy. She can also absorb the ultraviolet radiation from other life forms. This power also enables Starfire to perform the following feats:

Flight: Which leaves a distinctive energy contrail behind, looking as if it is coming directly from her hair. Starfire has also been stated to have flown light years through space in short amounts of time.

Starbolts: The solar absorption experiments performed on her by the alien Psions granted her the ability to channel and project that same energy into destructive blasts called "starbolts". Starfire has the ability to unleash all her stored energy into a pseudo nova blast. It is suggested to be as hot as the sun itself.

Lingustic Assimilation: She is capable of assimilating other languages through physical oral contact with another person.

Invulnerability: Starfire is impervious to most kinds of damage.

Superhuman Strength: Starfire possesses superhuman strength--the uppermost level of which is not known.

Mental abilities
Expert Combatant: Starfire is also an extremely proficient in armed and unarmed combat, having been trained in those arts by the Warlords of Okaara.

Metaphysical abilities
Alien biology:Tamaraneans can absorb and process solar radiation, which provides them with strength and vitality. This process also enables Tamaraneans to defy gravity and fly without the need of artificial enhancements.

Weapons/Techniques-

Weaknesses
Cultural Ineptitude:Starfire comes from an alien, war-like civilization, and as such many human customs are both strange and foreign to her. This being the case she is often dumbfounded by many social situations.

Un-happy emotions: Starfire's powers are controlled by certain emotions, therefore if she is confused or sad, or anything that would leave to un-happiness, Starfire's powers will fail.

Strengths
Combat:Stafire is not only a member of a warrior-race, but possess significant combat training. That combined with her alien abilities makes her an indispensable force in regards to physical combat.

Hope and happiness: Starfire is almost always happy, for it helps her fight and keeps her powers from failing. As said before, she must feel certain emotions for certain powers.

Likes- Daytime, Morning, "The Mall of Shopping," Mustard, Being a Titan, Her friends (Robin especially)
Dislikes-Gloom, Depression, Angst, Kitten, The Gordanians and Citadel, Anyone who messes with her or her friends.


History/Origins
Tamaran's Princess Koriand'r was the second of three children. Her older sister, Komand'r proved unable to fly, so she was deemed not worthy to be queen and the succession fell to Koriand'r. When both sisters were sent to train with the legendary Warlords of Okaara, the bitter Komand'r ran off, allying herself with the Citadel. They used Komand'r's information to successfully invade the planet Tamaran. King Myand'r turned Koriand'r over to the Citadel to ensure peace. Koriand'r endured six years of torture until she and Komand'r were both released for experimentation by the Psions. Both sisters escaped, with Koriand'r finding her way to Earth with the help of the Teen Titans. She chose to remain with the team and took the name Starfire.

Psions, who are largely sadistic scientists, performed a deadly experiment on both of the sisters to see just how much energy their Tamaranian bodies could absorb before exploding from the overload. During the procedure, Komand'r's forces attacked the Psion ship to rescue her and while the Psions were distracted, Kory broke free with the starbolts, destructive blasts of solar energy, a result of the experimentation. Against her better judgment, she decided to free Komand'r who was still absorbing energy. However, far from grateful, Komand'r struck her sister down with the same, but more intensified, power and had her restrained for later execution.

Kory is regarded as extremely physically attractive even by the standards of the superhero. She also displays the traits of Tamaran's highly sensuous culture, coupled with a no nonsense warrior attitude. For a time, Kory had a career as a fashion model.

General: Casius lives his job, and prodly wears his bulky power armor, even when not pursuing some poor victim.

Abilites
Althoug not a metahuman, Casius's powered armor gives him enough raw power to easily chuck an SUV over his shoulder. His EMP cannon can obliterate machinery and cause paralysis in humans. Repeated hits form the canon can cause irreversible nerve damage. It is hinted that he also has had prior training, but the true extent of this is unkown.

Assets: across form a powerful EMP cannon and fearsome power armor, Casius is also hinted to be very rich due to hsi extreme success.

Strengths: His reputation alone is often enough to make lesser criminals surrender, and his weapon is devastating to cyborgs and robots. His power armor gives him extreme strangths,a nd can graple with extremeley powerful enemies.

Weaknesses: With only 5 shots per charge in his cannon, Casius's wepaon can become useless in large fights. Also, his bulky armor makes combat manuvering dificult. All fo these factors together make it hard for him to gfight multiple foes at once.

Likes: being alone, a succesful hunt.

Dislikes: people

Bio:
Nobody knows who he is, where he came form, or if 'He' is even a man. Seemingly overnight, Casius became the scourge of the underowld. Taking jobs from anyone with a nice healthy pocketbook, he is top of his game. If there is anyone you need to be quiet or brought in, Casius is often the first bounty hunter people's mind. If you see him coming towards you, you know you have people somewhere that really don't like you. However, Casius will also take jobs form police and superheroes, as the only thing he cares about are the pennies in his pocket. It is hinted that Casius does something with his money, but exactly what is unkown...

History/Origins Jake lived with his parents, who loved him. When Jake was 12, his dad invited him to work. When he asked Jake to activate the machine, he was sucked in, and pulverized. (Ouch) 2 years later, his dad was killed by a mugger, and his mom was killed in a bank robbery, as a hostage. A lightning bolt struck Jake's grave, two years later, and he awoke as a pure energy being. He reverted back to human later with the power to change forms.

General- Robin wears a red tee shirt with three yellow stitches across the chest and his signature R over the left breast, the sleeves are green and his gloves arched coming up to his elbows. His cape is relatively short falling only to behind his thighs, it is black on the front while yellow on the reverse. His pants are green and skin tight, clasped by a distinctive yellow utility belt where the majority of his gadgets are kept however his gloves do conceal a series of lock-picks. His boots are ankle high black, with heavy metal plating over the toes, the heels and along the soles.

Peak Human Conditioning: Dick Grayson possesses the peak athletic strength and endurance of a man who regularly engages in intensive physical exercise. His physical attributes exceed that of any Olympic level athlete that has ever competed. His strength, speed, stamina, reflexes, agility and coordination are at peak human perfection.
Master Martial Artist: He is a master of several martial arts disciplines and he is proficient in other various martial arts. Although he has not mastered near as many fighting styles as his mentor, what he has done is effectively combined the martial arts he knows into a unique style that suits his strengths.
Master Acrobat: Grayson is a prodigious natural athlete, possessing a peak human level of agility/acrobatic skills.
Weapons Master: Through his martial arts training with Batman, he has become an expert on almost all types of weaponry. He has mastered knife throwing, as well as melee weapons, having trained in and mastered Okinawan kobudō. His most preferred weapon of choice is a pair of Eskrima sticks which he has mastered, in incorporated into his own unique style of fighting.
Master of Stealth: His training has made him a master at stealth capable of easily breaching high security facilities without being detected. He has been compared to the Batman, in terms of stealth and has been stated to be as good as the Batman in this field.
Expert Marksman: As a result of his training in Ninujitsu and with Batman, Nightwing almost never misses his targets, 9/10 times he's successful. He has been practicing accuracy since the early days of his training as Robin and is on par with the Batman in terms of accuracy.

Mental abilities
Multi-lingual: Having had the finest education as Bruce Wayne's ward, he speaks with fluency in English, French, Chinese, Spanish, Russian, Japanese, Swahili, Mandarin, Cantonese, and is possibly fluent in other languages. He has some knowledge of Romany and the alien language of Tamaran.
Skilled Leader: He is also a brilliant and experienced strategist with superlative leadership skills, having served as leader to the Titans, the Outsiders, and even the Justice League. Additionally, Dick's efforts to remain in contact with other heroes makes him a master at rallying, unifying, and inspiring the superhero community, a skill in which he has surpassed his mentor.
Tracking: Nightwing has been trained in hunting and tracking techniques by Batman. He is a master tracker, comparable to the Batman.
Master of Disguise: He is proficient in the art of disguise as having been taught by the Batman himself.
Escapologist: The Batman has trained Nightwing in this ability since his earliest days, in turn making Nightwing, a master escape artist. Though not as good as the Batman, he is proficient enough, to be only second to the Batman in this category.
Intimidation: He has been taught by the Batman, the ability to instill fear into others

Small metallic polymer throwing weapons based off of the boomerang.
Utility Belt
Although seemingly unremarkable in appearance, the utility belt remains as one of Robin's most important tools in fighting crime. Composed of a leather strap and a solid steel buckle, the utility belt houses several cartridges, which vertically clip onto the outside of the belt. The buckle itself contains a miniature camera and two-way radio. A secondary compartment behind the length of the belt houses Robin's supply of collapsible Bird-a-Rangs.
Attack Disks
Small round metallic disks containing either standard explosives, smoke bombs, or elector shock blasts.

Weaknesses
Human
Robin is completely human and is as such subject to all the weakness that that entails. His body while physically perfected heals only at a normal human rate, is subject to all biological agents that other humans are, and possess only moderate resistances to high or low temperate. Also he is unable to breathe without air, or exist in a zero pressure environment such as space, or high pressure environments such as deep sea.

Intelligence
Robin is one of the most intelligent heroes around. His mind is a weapon in and unto itself; he is capable of complete thought processes, critical thinking, reasoning and deduction on a moment’s notice. He is very learned and possesses a considerable knowledge of several subjects including, history, mathematics, science, biology, various global cultures and sociology.
Agility
Robin is widely regarded as one of the most agile men in the world, he is rumored to be the only human capable of a quadruple back flip and it has been said that even his previous mentor is not as skilled an acrobat as he is.

Dislikes-Hotdog documentaries, lax morals, mobsters, criminals, Tamaraian cuisine.

History/Origins
The name "Robin the Boy Wonder" and the medieval look of the original costume were inspired by the legendary hero Robin Hood, as well as the red-breasted American Robin, which continued the "flying animal" motif of Batman.

Young Dick Grayson was born on the first day of spring. His mother nicknamed him "little Robin". Little did she know how prophetic this term of endearment would be in her son's life.

Dick Grayson was an twelve-year-old Romanian circus acrobat, the youngest of a family act called The Flying Graysons of The Haly Circus. Dick joined the act at a very young age, having been trained in acrobatics from birth. Before one appearance in Gotham, in which The Flying Graysons were the main attraction, they were asked to pose for a photo opportunity with the Drake Family, including their young son Tim Drake. From that time on Tim's one and only hero in the world was Dick.

While on tour in Gotham City, he overheard "Boss" Tony Zucco, a well-known and feared crime-lord, threaten the performers unless the circus's owner paid extortion money. The owner refused, and that night Dick watched in horror as his parents' high wire snapped, sending his parents hurtling to their deaths, all while many of Gotham's elite watched on. Young Dick felt responsible, because he didn't warn his parents in time.

When Robin was 17, he was shot in the shoulder by the Joker, and this scared Batman into ending his career for good. Dick realized at that point that he had grown up: he no longer relied on Batman and, in fact, he and the Dark Knight disagreed on crime-fighting methodology. His newfound independence and Titans' duties in New York left less time for his former commitments in Gotham City. He also dropped out of Hudson after only one semester.

Dick rediscovered his self-worth among the Teen Titans. Batman, however, was less than pleased. He informed Dick that if he no longer wanted to be his partner, then Dick would have to retire as Robin. Dick left Wayne Manor after this fallout.
