Gotham City's Midnight Riders (ENDED)

Ivy watched the team come into a coughing fit, and for the element of surprise, pretended she was too. She pretended to barely be able to fling a few rocks at the Joker and Harley. "Quit it!" She wheezed.

(On a random note, Mercy could I play Poison Ivy? Pleeeease?)

Aurora couldn't stand the fumes. It felt as though her lungs would collapse and her insides were burning. She clenched her stomach, and with her other hand shot a huge ember at the Joker.

Mercy was prepared for the gas, she kept her breath and fired in the Joker's vicinity hoping she'd at least cap his leg. Jumping out into the fumes she kicked The Joker's head knocking him down. She was about to plant one on Harley but she flipped out of her way too quickly.

"Oooooo!!" Joker ran up behind Mercy and snatched her belt off. He began laughing as he said "Bombs away! AHAHAHAHAHAEHEAHHAEAHAHEHEHAHAHAEHAHAHAAH!!!!!" and he pulled the rings out of every single grenade. He began to throw them at Mercy and Aurora while Harley swung her mallet at Ivy.

Ivy dodged the mallet and stopped her hacking attack. "Gotcha." She smirked. Her eyes flashed a wild green, and Harley was encased in a rock tomb, which was then wrapped over with vines. "I'll take that, thank you very much." She plucked the mallet from Harley's hand.

"Oh boy.." Mercy said turning around and running away from every single grenade in her inventory. Flashes and flames came first bursting out in a fury of crazy fire works, a smoke grenade filled the air with a white haze obscuring everyones site and then the worst part. The frag grenades. They took the longest to cook and Mercy tried to warn everyone but she couldn't even hear herself talk. She could have swore she was screaming "Get cover!! Get to cover!" But she only heard her own muffled voice. The next thing she knew she was being propelled into the air from one of her frags. She hit a wall and fell limp.

Unfortunately for Ivy, Harley's mallet was full of surprises. As she picked it up, a huge boxing glove popped out from the head of the mallet and slammed Ivy in the face. She flew back and Harley was free.

"Don't count me out yet hun'!" Harley pulled out a bazooka and fired it at Ivy. Once it hit her, she was instanly wrapped in strong ribbon from he shoulders down.

(Yay! 3 down and idk how many to go XD!!)

(Oh and y'all can take stuff outta Karmy's bag. Just don't take the bag O_O!!)

Ivy stared at the ribbon. Her fingertips sparked, and crackled with a sudden blaze of fire. She burned the ribbon right off. "Don't count me out either Har!" Plants began snaking up Harley's legs, wrapping tightly around her.

Poison Ivy watched the fight from a faraway rooftop. The girl was there. Stupid. She wanted to avoid Poison Ivy, yet came to Gotham, Poison's preferred dwelling. She had to admit though, the girl had trained well in combat. And would make an excellent sidekick.

An explosion knocked an already limp Aurora into the wall behind her. She was dazed; everything seemed to be spinning. She lifted an arm and caused the flames and smoke to die down.

Harely pulled out what looked like a very large birthday candle. "Well sugah! I know a lot about plants so lets see how they like this!" and she stuck it into the vines and lit it. As she made a break for it, the candle exploded.

Ivy pulled up a rock sheild just in time. When the explosion faded, she began to sprint after Harley. "Where ya going? This was just getting fun." She thrust her hands outward, and the earth beneath Harley collapsed, causing her to sink down a good 20 ft.

(Artanis doesn't really breathe, so gas doesn't do anything to him lol)

Artanis looked for the Joker, but to no avail. He then lifted the young Aurora over his shoulders and called to Mercy to see if she was alright

Having the agility and a acrobatic skills of that of a... well an acrobat, Harely managed to flip her way back up to the top before she hit the bottom. As she landed in a handstand, she saw Joker standing over an unconscious Ivy, holding a rubber chicken.

"Oh what a bore!" he said as he took a brick out of the chicken. Harley squealed in delight and ran up to her boss. Ignoring her, Joker turned to look at the other Riders.

Mercy was groaning in pain. Aurora was being helped up by Antonis. Karmy was still convulsing badly. Ivy was also out. But there was Matt and Emily. Still awake. The Joker started to laugh.

Breathing heavily Mercy got up, she checked herself to and came to the conclusion that she was still all in one piece. She felt sick, like she was going to vomit. Dizzy and hearing only the muffled voice of Artanis, she couldn't make out any words. Mercy coughed into her hands which revealed a bright red puddle of blood in her palms. "Never gets easy." She said to herself.

Aurora was too dizzy. She couldn't understand anything coming out of Artanis' mouth. She tried to shoot a bolt at a figure she thought was the joker, but was too weak.

Joker saw Mercy try to get up and walked over to her. Stomping down roughly on her stomach, he held her in place.

"So you must be the leader of this sad bunch of heros! I must say, they are a tad bit impressive. A tad bit! Oh how drone this is!" he said pressing down harder. When she didn't respond, he started laughing.

"Even Bats had a witty come back!" and he pulled out another Laugh-X pellet, "Here, it looks like you could use another laugh!" he tossed the pellet and headed for Matt and Emily.

Mercy had been holding her breath the second The Joker had come her way (hence no talking.) She felt like crap, she didn't feel like getting up, she was writhing in pain. But she was fighting for justice. For humanity. The gas was obscuring her sight but she could tell who the Joker was.

Taking out her knife she threw it at his back.

Joker turned around and caught the blade before it could impale him. "Oh please! I've been dodging old Batters little toys for years!" He strolled back over to her and placed the knife to her throat. "You really think this play thing is a threat to me?"


(Joker is just like Slade (DIE SLADE DIE!!!) and he will kill so get out Mercy!!>_<)

Suddenly, and for some reason, the thought came to her head: "what would Karmy do?" It was plain and obvious. Mercy was still feeling like she had literally been hit by a train, but she made a swift kick right in the Joker's junk! He dropped the knife in pain and fell to his knees, before the knife hit the ground Mercy caught it and held it to the Joker's neck. "Looks like I'm the threat to you now." Mercy managed to say. "Mind telling me how we can get this city back together or you want to kick the bucket?"

(YES!!!! FREAKIN WIN MERCY!!!!! LOFL!!!!)

Joker started laughing madly, "Oh fun!" he yelled in a squeaky/pained voice. "I always wondered when some one would have the, GALL to do that!" and he burst out laughing again, still holding his hands between his legs. Mercy still held her ground, knowing how manic this guy was. Fortunately for Harley, she crept up unnoticed.

"Hey chicky poo!" she got Mercy's attention. "No one treats my puddin' like that!" and she slammed her mallet at Mercy.

Mercy tried to dodge it but ended up getting hit anyways. She ended up falling over the Joker and knocking him completely on the floor. Her knife was pressed closer to his throat. "Another..." Mercy tried to breath more slowly, the pain she was feeling coursed throughout. ".. another move... he dies.."

Joker saw that Mercy was distracted, so he took advantage of this. He quickly grabbed her hand and twisted it with a sharp pop, instantly dislocating it. As she writhed in pain, he took off the flower connected to his jacket. "Here's a bit of laughing gas to numb the pain!" He sprayed her right in the face, making sure she inhaled it this time.

Her laughter rang through out the warehouse as Joker approached Matt and Emily, holding something behind his back.
