Gotham City's Midnight Riders (ENDED)

Charge walked along, and he could tell he was close. Suddenly in a nearby store he saw some of the flowers blooming. "It's a little out of season for these kinds of flowers, isn't it?" he thought, and went into the store. Looking around, he spied Matt. Matt was happily walking along the aisles, picking up needed groceries (if you can call 'tofu water' a grocery... ). Matt picked up some more tea, as well as some organic whole-wheat bread and organic peanut butter. Upon being content with his load of groceries, Matt made his way to the cashier, and purchased everything. As he stepped outside, the plants near all flourished and bloomed.

"Bingo..." Charge mumbled to himself as he watched the plants react. Matt began walking towards the street, and was about to stop and wait for the others, when a blast of energy smashed into the ground before him. "I have you now!" cried Charge as he ran at Matt with his hands glowing. He hurled a few more bolts of energy at Matt. "What are you doing!?" Matt yelled, "I don't even know you!" and with that vines shot out of the ground in an attempt to restrain this ballistic powerhouse.

Ghost wrote:"I'm down," Ghost chuckled. "It'll give me time to pack an extra magazine or two of shots for the rifle. I can't believe I haven't been able to use it all night.."
Considering the two would be restocking, Ghost fired a shot at two thugs waiting on the sidewalk. Two yells issued as Ghost laughed, "Fixed."

(Bro, that's just cruel XD n where is Artanis?)

"Nice." Casius noted as Ghost plowed down the thugs. Leading the way, he led them to a bad part of town, with thugs and mobsters on every corner. However, everyone seemed to give the two a wide berth, just in case it was one of them they were after. Stoping at a low-class apartment, he led the way up the stairs to a fifth-floor apartment. He opened the door and walked in. "Home sweet home." he said. The apartment was sparcely furnished, little mroe then a small sofa and a TV on the floor. Down the hall was a room full of odd machines and weapons on a table, and a second door leading to a restroom. Across the hall was a closed door. "Come in, don't do anyhting I wouldn't." He said as he made his way to the ammo room.

(I believe Artanis is with us and now Charge, a new villain is attacking Matt. We're in Whole Foods XD)

Mercy looked behind her, a crazy guy was shooting bolts inside the store, he was chasing Matt! "Riders, CHARGE!" Mercy yelled as soon as possible to get everyone's attention.

Ghost laughed in his ghastly voice. He entered the ammunition room and loaded two cartridges with his specialized bullets. "Glad you didn't throw these out, Casius. If the army got a hold of these, then they'd actually stand a chance against us."
He then grabbed his rifle, added an extra bullet to the current cartridge, loaded it and said, "Never know what him em'."

Karmy portaled behind the man and kicked him square in the back, knocking him over.

Ivy sprinted outside. "Hey! Leave him alone!" She called to Charge. Her fingertips sparked, and rocks encased the man in a tomb. Plants snaked around it as well, trapping him. Ivy gave a small smirk.

Aurora immediately charged out of the store and saw the man shooting bolts at Matt.
"Wha- Hey! Those are my powers!" she yelled. She then shot two embers around the man, causing the ground beneath him to be set ablaze.

As Karmy made contact with Charge, he released a quick jolt of electricity through his back and into Karmy, shooting her back. "I'm not here for you" he huffed, and focused on Matt. More 'heroes' tried to stop him, first with flames which he jumped past, then with rock which he had to shatter. Charge was angry with this unfair fight, but he did not take his eye off his prey. Angered by this new villain, Matt tried wrapping vines around Charge, but Charge just destroyed them with a few blasts. Doing a quick flip, Charge landed next to Matt, and grabbed his bare hand with his. Matt cringed in pain, and collapsed to the ground. All the plants nearby suddenly wilted-- Charge's Power Negation was in effect.

Charge quickly grabbed the unconscious Matt, and began running towards the door.

Mercy pulled out her guns and shot at the man's legs. She capped him once and she immediately ran over to him, stomping his back.

"What do you want with Matt?!" She screamed at him.

"NO!" Aurora yelled as she shot two fireballs in front of the man, causing the dry, withered fields to burst into a tall flame, blocking Charge's escape route.

Upset by his inability to escape, Charge got up and hobbled over to a nearby powerline. Grabbing it, Charge absorbed the power through it, and lit up golden. "You will not take my prey!" he yelled, shooting a huge beam of energy at Aurora and Mercy.

Casius Stuck the sanon into an odd device, and a light saying 'charging' lit up. Casius picked up a box of welders and such, and began welding plates ontot his armor to cover up the damage the bullets did. "The army would roll over to get this stuff. Mostly because they're who I got it from." Casius said, continuing to patch his amror.

Not another one! Karmy thought. She looked up and gasped when she saw the beam of light heading for Aurora. Making an idiot move, she pushed her outta the way and took the blast herself.

Ivy's eyes flashed angrily. NOBODY takes her friends! She thrust her hands outward and flaming vines crept outward, closer to Charge. She couldn't wrap him with them, because of Matt, but she could block any further escape!

Mercy was pushed to the ceiling of the store and hit the ground hard. She got back up, and she realized for some reason how hungry she was. She saw Karmy get blasted and knock over an aisle. She pointed her guns straight at Charge. "PUT HIM DOWN OR I WILL FIRE ON YOU!" She screamed at Charge at the top of her lungs.

(I feel useless right now.. I hate doing work.. Lemme see where I can put myself in..)

Artanis burst out of the store and saw the entire scenery on fire. He then saw Karmy on the ground, writhing in pain. He ran to her, searched her bag for any medicine (Does she have medicine in it?). He gave her a painkiller, hoping it would ease her pain.

(WTF is happening? Dude you guys are posting soooo fast)

In anger, Charge released a huge dome of energy, hitting opponents all around, and giving some scars to the unconscious Matt. Charge quickly grabbed Matt, and made a break for it, using his newfound energy to run quickly.

Karmy looked around groggily. Her whole body spasmed and burned. She saw Ben holding Matt. No! she wasn't gonna fail anyone again. She portaled in front of Ben and punched him in the gut.

(ARTANIS TO THE RESCUE!)

I walked the city of gothom for once in a long time. i kept my head down and myself hidden. I havent been out from the forest in a very long time and ecided to head out to explore hoping it wouldnt strike back at me. My senses went wild but i was able to keep them in control. I sensed trubble but tsayed clear of it not wanting to get invloved. i never do well in fights.

Ivy watched as Ben fled, and Karm distracted him. The fire was spreading wildly fast, and smoke soon filled the air. She conjured a rainstorm, quickly extinguishing the flames.

"Oh no you don't.." Artanis laughed in a somewhat evil fashion. He threw his sword at the man, square in the back. He ran to retrieve his weapon.
