For those of you who don't know who or what I am referring to, I mean Laughing_Man. He's a good person; he's logical, fair, highly intelligent and creative. Anybody who's interacted with him on here can back me up on this.

I think that he'd make an excellent addition to the Admin Freedom Justice Squadron Force Brigade.

I'd just like to make a point, even with Ri stepping down, there's more staff than a forum this size even needs. As it is there is one staff member for every two or three non staff members.

You could probably afford to lose one or two MORE admins without it mattering in the least.

So has a lot of everyone been bothering everyone about being an admin.. doesn't mean we'll invite him cause he asked. We did that at one point.

Yeah, if the case is one person does the contests (including prizes, posting threads, locking/unlocking threads, poking the judges to get on judging), the member of the week, putting the contest winner in the box, and changing her signature and announcement scroll for the contest every time, while the other 3 or 4 keep an eye on the chatbox and any abusive/harassing posts around the forum. >.<

To be fair, this is the only thing a Mod HAS to do.

You don't need to be a staff member to run contests, nor should a staff member be required to run contests. Staff members keep the peace, make sure people are posting correctly, and so on and so forth. Contests can be run by anyone regardless of staff authority.

Member of the week on the other hand should probably be a shared responsibility of all staff members, assuming all staff members agreed to have the member of the week feature in the first place. (I'm not sure how that feature came to be so I can't put in my two cents on the situation as a whole)

Really, shouldn't all members vote for Admin instead of them just picking by themselves? I mean, yeah the know who's good with Admin stuff, and is on most the time, and who would be great for it. But shouldn't we get a choice too?

We don't want people to choose only because they're their best friend, right.
