TheDeceiverGod wrote:Dude, uncalled for, I know it's unlikely that I'll ever get the chance to act on such thought processes.
But is it pretentious to wonder if maybe a regular person doesn't see an innocuous commercial and start wondering what the most efficient method to use a person as a power source would be?
PS: and it's not 'the equation of a gun' it's the mathematical representation of an impact on an angled surface. Mass, Velocity, Density, Resistance, Deflection of Force etc. Pull the stick out of your ass.
It's pretentious to sit here and post rants at 4 in the morning about how creative and amazing you are just because you thought of something and decided to gloat about how much of a unique genius you are after seeing some lame commercial.
Go ahead and get that internship with that super-scientist. I'm sure the world is just trembling that another bloated narcissist is going to be able to drool all over more government-funded labcoats.
Oh, and I'd be more willing to pull that stick out of my ass if you actually had said what you are purporting to have, but alas, the truth is that's a direct quote. Don't you remember me explaining to you the elements in that equation? :p
The truth is that no matter how many times you tell yourself that you're a super-genius and act as though you are holier-than-thou, you are just a kid spouting absurd theories and concepts that he in all likely scenarios hasn't the slightest clue about and thinks that he's better than others because of it. I'm not trying to start a fight, but the know-it-all routine gets a little tiring, bro.
Yo' sh*t still stank bro, just like the rest of us.

I was watching TV, just minding my own business when that Adult Swim celebrates the Sexual Revolution's 50th anniversary commercial comes on. What's the Sexual Revolution, I don't know, why is Adult Swim celebrating it? I also don't know. But I do know that it made me think about how anything we're doing sexually isn't really new, on account of the fact that the ancient Greeks probably did it before us.
This then makes me think about how maybe all our 'Revolutions' are just a return to center, being that the Greeks/Romans are largely observed as the last great civilizations. Which in turn makes me think about how the Greeks may have been able to accomplish more than us if they'd had our power sources. Which makes me wonder what they did use for power. Which was of course people.
Which makes me wonder if maybe people aren't just the single greatest power source in the world, and we're all just too moral to make use of them. After all there are tones of people out there, many of them unemployed.
This then makes me think about how many ways you could gain power from a person, beyond just slave labor, and in the course of a few seconds I wonder if/how one would go about tapping the latent thermal energy given off by people, the latent metabolic energy we use to power ourselves, grow, reproduce cells, as well as the less material creative energies that give us the abilities to do so many marvelous things.
And what's perhaps even a little more concerning is that I actually started envisioning what such energy tapping machines would need to do/look like. Including large metallic rods being implanted into people's brains in order to tap the electrical impulses that make up our thoughts.
So before the commercial is even over, I have gone from sex, to slaves, to the Matrix, to open brain surgery for experimental energy tapping purposes...
I want a Laboratory...
You know, just this morning, someone asked me what the definition of "irony" is? Now, I have an answer for them!
- Spoiler:
- You're both nuts.

Well, Kerry Collins retired, so they don't have a quarterback anymore.

Who cares? Nobody, that's who.
Especially not his life coach, who, in one of the most hilarious instances of celebrity-related exasperation, quit on him. What a sad, sad man. Has nobody to blame but himself, the jackass.

All the news is talking about today is that damn Casey Anthony woman again. My word, they even talk about what her most recent MEAL is. I get a kick out of that, I really do. People are so entranced by that woman, they even need to know what she is EATING.

I couldn't believe it when I read it. The comic is much more darker than the video. If only Batman the Animated series was like this all the way through.

Awh you are special, everyone knows that Robin is irreplaceable, not like you can lose one and just pick up some kid off the street to fill in.
It's funny because that's exactly what Batman did with Dick-Jason

Re: Random Chat
Thanks Archie
I thought I deserved an upgrade after all the work I've been putting into Hub. For the record, once I put up the Police, I just have to accept character & put up the rules and the game starts. Also for the record; it's a pain in the butt to make lots of average characters than it is to make a lot of super-characters. I mean, when you can make a fire-manipulating character and an ice-manipulating character and an earth-manipulating character and a Dark Telepathic character, it's easy to pump out a bunch of characters. But when you have to do a police chief, and a police lieutenant, a dozen working stiffs and a few generic gangsters, it's a lot harder to keep them interesting, and my Pride will not allow me to make a crappy character.
Plus my pride's kinda how I justify my ego, so without it I would have problems.
Real sorry it's been taking so long but for the record (again)
