The Darkest of Knights

"Where are you going?" Cyrah asked following Karmy. "What?" Rose asked following Cyrah. "Oh! So where did that blonde go?" She wondered.

"Ow! Hey, what the hell?" Damian questioned checking his face for bruises. "I hate you." Damian sneered at Barbara. "Eye for an eye." Barbara snapped. "So are we done with the tour?" Tim queried.

"I'm just gonna go find Alice.." Karmy said, stopping by the kitchen to grab the lantern bag. "We were talking and... I just wanted to finish talking to her. Why do you ask?" she wondered as she slipped the bag over her shoulder.

"Uhh.. Alice is getting chickens right now. Uhh, dead chickens Karmy. She'll be back soon don't worry. Geez." Cyrah said a bit panicked.

"Hey what did I do?" Damian asked. "Just shut up Damian." Dick advised as everyone was leaving back to Titan's Tower.

Alice looked up from the pillow that was once Terra's, she saw what her face looked like in the pillow thanks to the amount of tears she injected into it. She got up, and walked out of the room and down the hall.

"But..." Karmy continued to walk down the hall. "She wouldn't leave in the middle of a conversation to get.. that.. And please don't say those words, you know how I feel about them." she said. "We were talking."

Cyrah nearly slapped herself, "Why don't you just marry her huh?" Cyrah asked crossing her arms. "C'mon Cy, just let her go." Rose suggested. "Guh.."

The Bats arrived to Titan's Tower as soon as Alice brushed past them. "Alice?" Barbara asked, she didn't respond. "Uh, looks like she just needs a minute." Dick said walking in. "C'mon guys, let her go."

Karmy stopped in her tracks and turned towards Cyrah. "What did you do, Sarah?" she asked. "Why are you keeping me from my best friend?"

[Sorry if this is what you wanted to avoid Red o-o...]

"Well that's all you ever wanna be with. I just wanted a sister y'know. Whatever, go find her. I don't need you." Cyrah said so bitterly it left a bad taste in her mouth, she looked away from Karmy. She didn't want to see her now. All she ever wanted to do was to be with Alice.

Damian came up behind Nicole. "Hey look I'm sorry I really am." He explained. "You don't know my intentions though. If I helped her Slade would have killed me."

"What.. Is wrong with you guys." Karmy sighed. "This stupid." she waved her off and slouched back to the living room. "Just... Stop." she said before leaving her sight. She entered the empty common room and laid down on the couch.

"Hey, who's more important? Who has more of a future? An old lady? Or me?" Damian asked.

Alice walked about the streets and soon found herself walking down the city lines. She wondered how long she had been walking, she didn't want to look at her watch. It must have been several hours.

Cyrah leaned her head back and began engaging in talk with Rose again.

After a while, Alice hadn't shown up and Karmy was getting worried. Getting up, she explored the tower, but was unable to find her. She did run into Barbara and Dick. "Hey.." she greeted, keeping her eyes away from theirs. "Have y'all seen Alice?"

"Well if you cant decide weather or not to let me join, at least let me show you what i can do!" Crimson said to the riders. Crimson had'nt had a chance to show his powers in a long time, let alone to the riders.

"Uhh, we bumped into her walking out about an hour ago. That's when we came in." Barbara said. "Why what's wrong? You know what happened?" Dick asked a hint of concern coated his question.

"But she's not your family." Damian said walking away.

"I'm not sure.." Karmy replied, wrapping her arms around her now shivering body. "We were talking and the Cyrah said something and then I don't know..." she looked towards the city.

(WOW I am disappointed to have missed the drama of today. @_@ )

Ivy glanced at Crimson, hearing him speak. "Ohh no you don't. 'Fraid we can't let you do anything unless we're positive you don't have any bad intentions." She replied coolly. She had missed the battle with him, and didn't have an inkling of what his powers could be. Now wouldn't be the best moment to find out.

Astro, avoiding practically any contact with the others that he could, was busy nomming down a bean burger.

Damian shot his knee into Nicole, "Hey!" Raven came in separating the two teens quickly. "You two need to cool down!" She screamed. Raven hasn't played parent in a while. "Until you both learn to cooperate, you're going to sit in these corners!" She said forcing the two in different corners. "You move an inch from your spot and you'll be cast into another dimension."

"I guess she's on a walk or something. You can track her with the communicators." Barbara offered. "But she seemed really upset. I think we should just let her walk around and figure things out." She said sympathetically. "Yeah, you know how she sorts things out with long walks, right?" Dick said suggesting it was better.

"All my communicators except for the one to Cassius are in my bag." she sighed. "And no... I didn't know that." Karmy hung her head in shame. "She's my best friend and I know little about her.. Pretty sad huh?"

"Oh yeah?! Well-" Damian started. "Both of you, shut up! Now! I want peace and quiet!" Raven demanded, her coat suspended from the air from her flow of energy.

"Here.. Take mine." Dick said confidently handing Karmy his communicator. He had to instill a deep sense of trust into her in order to do that.

Karmy stared at the communicator for a moment before reaching out for it. Her fingers hovered an inch above it, a part of her expected Dick to grab her and shock her into oblivion, but she finally took it from his hand. "Thanks." was all she could really say at this moment. Flipping on the communicator, she pinpointed Alice and looked at the bats one last time before snapping her fingers. She landed in the vicinity where Alice was and began to look for her.

"Looks like you'll be the one who needs to cool your jets, Rae." A voice cracked from behind her. The shock of the voice crawled up Raven's back, she turned around, ever so slowly. Beast Boy smiled at her, Raven's features grew stiff, and Red Robin facepalmed. "I couldn't just not leave him outside." He tried his best explaining to Raven. "What the hell is going on? We can't have Beast Boy here, Tim! We have so much company already!" Raven scolded. "Glad, you're happy to see me too Rae!" Beast Boy said hugging Raven. "And call me Beast Man." He emphasized. "No."

"Dick, I thought you said that-.." Barbara started, worried about Alice.
"Tch, Babs. I knew she was going to do that. She looked like she needed some company anyway." Dick said, he knew what he was doing, and this was the right decision.

Karmy could see the back of Alice walking down the desertscape, she clutched on her sides and looked up into the night sky. She heard Karmy's landing and turned to face her. "What do you want?" She asked rudely.

Karmy took a small step back at Alices greeting, her hands curled in front of her chest. "I..." she started. "I didn't know where you went so I got Dicks comm. I thought we were talking.. Back in the common room." she looked up at Alice.

"Well excuse me, I didn't know you still wanted to talk to me." Alice said folding her arms. "I thought you said that you trusted me. If you want to say anything to me right now with all truthfulness and sincerity you'd better do it right now. Go on. Speak your mind, tell me what you think of us Bats! Cause honestly, I don't care what you think. I'm proud this insignia was passed on to me." Her body language was harsh. Cruel even.

"Gee, I can never get a smile on that face of yours. I haven't seen you in two years!" Beast Boy said energetically. "Where's Nightwing? Is he here too? And who are those kids?" He asked pointing to the corners. "BB!" Cyborg exclaimed happily and hugging his little green friend. "Yo man! Whazzap?" Beast Boy asked as Cyborg let go. "This place is so packed." Red Robin muttered.

"Alice, I trust you with my life." Karmy said, timidly approaching her. "Ever since we became friends, I have always trusted you. I just don't know if I can trust the Greysons and Babs. Babs more though. Its just.. After a few incidents with Dick.. I still don't know." she laid a hand on Alice's shoulder. "Why are you acting like this?"

"Robin, Nightwing, Batman, we're still talking about the same old dick, right?" Beast Boy mocked. "Garfield!" Dick said happily. "You came back! Where have you been all this time? The RP is almost over!"
"Its Beast Man now! Can't you see I'm totally grown and buff?" Beast Boy asked pulling off his coat to show off his muscles. "Star's trip to the future was total bogus!"
"That's cause we altered the future Beast Boy."
"Beast MAN! Get it right!"

Alice shrugged Karmy's shoulder off. "That's not what I heard from Cyrah." She said walking off. "You hate us all. You even hate Nicole, don't deny it. I saw how you reacted to her back at Cassius' apartment." Alice continued walking away. "You should at least take responsibility over you faults when you lose something precious, instead of blaming it on people you hate."

"What the-" Karmy ran off and jumped in front of Alice. "I don't know Nicole. I was drunk at the time... What did Sarah say?" she asked, scared.
