Here's a little insight into the mechanics of Next- Gen and how things work. I plan to do several more of theseas NG approaches to clear stuff up.

Today's particular peice of focus is Titan's HQ, The Solar Tower.

Notably, this isn't a gainormous T in the middle of Jump city harbor where anyone can jsut waltz up and make them selves merry. This is because only a select few even know that the Top floor of the Tower houses the titans anyways, so no random folks just walking right up to the doors and asking for their application. The cover up is that the Top floor is utilized as a School for the girfted.

This IS true- along with their hero duties and a rigorous training regiment, they receive Top notch tutoring. It is just often ommited that it's HQ for about ten Teenage superheroes.

Also, to Avoid the distarous possibility of having to co-ordinate missions involving TEN titans, I decided to consider splitting the titans into two Squadgroups- Squad A and squad B, but I'll cover that at a later date.

Also, Bludeh, I decided to leave it up to you wether or not Sully is a main Titan, I'm cool either way.

Wait so its not 5 and 5? That part was informative.. shouldn't they get more than just one floor though?

Well they have the rootops AND the garage level, and one floor on a building the size of ST is nothing to turn your nose at.

And do you mean 5 and 5 for the teams, or the different story arcs?

Like... say the pairs are like TEAM A: Rex, Casey, Alice, Sullivan, and Appolloolllololololooo while TEAM B has everyone else?

Yeah, i had somehting EXACTLY like that in mind- split the groups 50-50 to make missions mroe manageable.

For our next mechanic of NG, I decided to mention Squadgroups.

The more and more I developed NG, the more and more I realized that misisons with TEN titans would be hard to pull off, not to mention one sided during fights against bad guys. So I decided to part the groups down the middle, with 5 a peice, to mimic the original team of 5 titans.

The teams would operate in 6 hour shifts at a time- one team would be out in the city patroling, making their presence evident to dissuade criminals, and to also be in position to quickly respond in an emergency instead of having to mosey out of the tower. Assuming all is well when that team's 6 hour shift is up, they'd head back to the tower and pass the baton off to the next squad, to rest, re-gear and train. If that team is occupied when their 6 hours are up, they'd naturally be required to finish their misison before returning home.

However, if at any time the active team feels they are in over their heads, the standby team can allways be called in for backup.

I envisioned distributing the teams as such:

Team A
Rex
Casey
Apollo
Cal
Alice

Team B
Izzy
Sully (Assuming she accepts the offer to stay with the titans)
Can
Aurelia
Lyan

If you would like your character the other team, just let me know so I can find someone to switch you out with.

*I split the twins- Cal and Can- so they were one on each team. That way, Abby would have a character on each team. Abby, if you want them switched to be on the same team, just let me know.

**The teams going out during the late PM and early AM shift would be accompanied by RedEagle, AKA Tim Drake, as I figure a lot more crimes would be happening during the night hours. However, it's not out of the question for Tim to spontaneously decide to patrol with an additional team as well.

I am not sure if I mentioned this to you Red, though I spoke with Mercy about it. But I am going to sorta Retcon what happened with Sullivan in Abby's RP. She'll be the age I have her in in the Ref sheet and this means she will be re-introduced to the current titans if she is to get this offer to join them.

If that doesn't work please tell me and I'll be happy to work some stuff out with you about it. Sorry I'm so slow on the uptake here :3

Uh I was about to suggest there be a day team and a night squad. Also I would like to be in the other team. It almost seems to me that team B is filled with the extra characters...

I just noticed that thing with team B myself..... if it's ok with bluddy, I can switch you two, with Sully on team A and you on team B.

lol I figured you'd do soemthing like that when you mentioned re- introducing Sully anyways, so it's all good!

Oh also I talked with red and we have a new way for dividing the teams.

I would've wanted to join but I see you're already starting, and since I have no experience with DC heroes whatsoever I guess I'll just watch you guys roleplaying :'D

Well, we actually ARE in need of an older Blackfire if you want to fill that role. And OC villains are allways welcome also.

So yeah, Merc and I talked about a new system for picking characters for missions; It's going to be at Tim's discretion, based on the actual misison and/or setting during the respective mission details and setting for the patrol.

Hmm... We need to start NG soon. Before I head out to Taiwan. For sure.

Ah Stephanie made it to the RP, I see? No doubt, she is Tim's love interest? Whatever happened to The Knight and Squire?

I can take Starfire and Ms. Brown, though I have no idea what role they will be playing in the plot.
