The Dark Knight Returns

So looks like The Dark Knight Returns is going to be the next DC Animated movie.



I have to admit when I saw that trailer it looked so much like the fantasy sequence from that episode of Batman The Animated Series that at first I almost thought it was a fan-spoof made using it & a few other movies.

I never did like the idea of Batman being that ridiculously huge of an old man, but I will admit I like the idea of a "Batman has retired: Crisis strikes, Batman Is Back" plotline.

I never read it, mainly because the art is ugly and I don't know, it seems like Bruce is praising that new Robin a bit much. I also want to know if it's necessary to split the movie into two parts. Is it really that long?

But Legends of the Dark Knight is one of my favorite BTAS episodes. So if Bruce Timm and Paul Dini liked it, I'll give the movie a shot.

To be fair I think Bruce praises all of his Robins at one point or another. Just never to their faces.

His parenting style is kinda; "Do it until you're perfect boy!" *leaves* "Go I love that kid Alfred." "Of course Master Bruce..."

Hahaha.. Well all the Robins except Stephanie Brown. Unless there's something I missed in their relationship.
