(where am i)

Cruel laughter rang out as Rift evaded another attack. "So, a little team without a leader. How can you win if you can't even catch me?"

(Laying on the ground I think. The healers are busy.)

(dangit, hey mercy? wanna fight?)

Carafrost gasped as she felt herself being shoved. "Where did he go?" She asked herself. She spun around to see a portal closing. "Great.. I forgot about that annoying portal.." She sighed. She was unaware of Ivy under the water.

Ivy thought fast. This dude must fear something, and chances are, she could get it. Drowning? No, he'd teleport away. Maybe, a little storm could scare him away..Nope, he seems to tough to be afraid of a little thunder. Then it struck her.

Fire.

Ivy rose a hand out of the water, and made a small twirl with it. A fireball appeared in her hands. She poked her head above the water for a better view. "YO! Over here!" she called. In a flash, she surrounded Rift in a tight ring of fire, being extremely careful to not burn anybody.

"I'm over here," Rift called, waving from atop a flagpole. "Oh, and here." He was on another building's roof. "Don't forget here." His voice was too close, because he had appeared behind her. Before he fell out of the air, he disappeared again.

akwardly walking i stumbled into rift and started in horror.

(MAN! Okay, next time, Red, you said you sensed Nightstalker, but you didn't say where you were from, so if you guys want, i could RE-attempt the attack, WITHOUT the bionic arm and the fight-skip...)

backs up from rift eyes widened.

Cara looked at Rift who was popping in and out of portals. "Okay, I can probably control my powers. If I can't.. well at least I'll stop the bad guys" She told herself. So she began to throw powerful icebolts at Rift.

Zero rubbed his neck. He was close to turning the air around rift into knock-out gas and shut him up, but he was already before malice, her asking him about nightstalker blowing up the building. 'Please, do you think I'm stupid? I know you two are buddies. She blew the building up- I tried and failed to stop it from happening. People got hurt and died. Satisfied?' Zero asked snidely. Suddenly, Zero caught the look in Malice's eye. 'You didn't know... did you?' Zero said. He reched out with his powers and began to manipulate soem water from a leftover dragon, just in case...

"Nightstalker isn't with us anymore, we lost contact days ago. Are you telling me she blew up the building yesterday?" Malice asked him with grave importance. Her heart was pounding and her eyes almost watered...

'Yes, Malice blew up the building.' Zero said sternly. He detected soemthing from her. It wasn't murderous it was... Sadness? Zero was confused. He had a feeling Nightstalker may have split form the others, but he didn't expect the topic to upset Malice. Not sure how to react, Zero kept an eye on Malice...

(no portals. He just vanishes. Karmy's got portals.)

Rift could feel an unusually warm breeze coming from behind him, ruffling his hair. Teleporting away, onto a building, he turned and looked.

"Oh-" Colorful words sprang to mind, but none of them made it to his tongue.

Fire.

There was a wall of fire rising from the ocean itself. Eyes wide, he stumbled backwards, frightened sounds, half-formed words tumbling out of his mouth. "Malice!" he called, not taking his eyes off the wall of flame. "You ready to go?" 'Cause I am.

Ivy grinned to herself. Everybody's got a fear, and she just found his. She made the flames rise a little higher, but made sure not to injure anybody.

Malice started shaking her head in disbelief tears swelling in her eyes. "No, no no no... "she dropped to her knees. "I'm so gonna kill her. I'm gonna rip out her throat and shove it up her ass!!" Malice screamed in frustration. She looked up at Zero and stood up and asked "You know where Nightstalker is?"

Zero complied with Malice, probably a little too eagerly. If the villains were fighting eachother, then maybe the team could recuperate and reorganize. He detected Nightstalker, but barely. 'To the south of here.' He said, pointing due south.

Sky changed to normal. Malice wanted NS to, eh? "I could sniff out her exact location, but with a price..." Her fangs grew an inch.

Eyes filled with fury, Malice called out to Rift "RIFT! We gotta go south for winter!!" She started out and then turned to Zero "Wanna help?"

Cara looked at ivy, who Carafrost had finnaly spotted. She looked at the flames and brought her ice powers back to life, just in case things were to get bad.

Ivy climbed out of the water, sopping wet. She kept the wall of flames up and at the same time froze a small block of water to sit on. She was hoping Rift would leave soon, Karm needed some help back on the shore. Fast.
