Gotham City's Midnight Riders (ENDED)

(Matt and Emily were never introduced to Malice, therefore doesn't know who they are. But you you have a good point Ab. This is supposed to take place 4 years later.)

Mercy finally broke out of the cage in which Matt had trapped her in. She hear lots of fighting going on and wanted in. She also heard Casius' complaint. "If you plan on wrecking this city, prepare for an unfair fight with the Batman dead." Mercy said as she stepped out. Guns in hand.

Knocked asunder by his own lighning, and sprayed with atacks in every direction, Casius began to consider his options. As much as he hated looking like a coward with every drop of his blood, he didn't want to be chucked in Prison either. his armor discolored form when it had been set on fire, and Ghost pinned down, Casius began to grow more and more tense. He slung another car at Mercy, and sure enough, it did no good, as she dodged it. Caisus entered a defensive pose, bracing himself for the atack he was sure was coming...

Matt's eyes were still aglow. He summoned a great amount of thorns and thistles around Casius, and began surrounding him with large oak trees to act as a cage. Matt just barely finished summoning the woody cage when his eyes closed, and he dropped to the ground unconscious. "No!" cried Emily as she ran out into the open to try to help Matt. (She had been using clairvoyance the entire time to sense what was going on in the battle)

She ran over to him and tried to pull him to safety. Suddenly one of the nearby trees bent over towards them both, lifting them up into its branches, and slowly cradled them in more and more branches until they were safely encased in the very core of the tree (with small air holes to breathe of course )

(Guess I'll just lay there passed out for a while o_o)

Mercy got up and ran over to Casius shooting to give herself cover from Casius opening up. Before he or anyone knew it Mercy was on top of Casius' shoulders with a sticky grenade. "I'll give you one chance to tell me where the Joker is. That or say good-bye to your insides.." Mercy threatened. She knew he would probably try to grab her and toss her across the city but she was willing to negotiate.

"For the love of- i don't know squat about the Joker! I never even met the guy!" Caisus said, bordelrineing panic. And it was true- he had never met the Joker face to face.

"I can help you find him" came a small voice from behind Mercy.

(Should I bring the Joker in?)

Karmy woke up to see Mercy attacking Casius, so she pulled out a pistol and went to help.

Mercy got off of Casius with her finger still on the key of the grenade. "Fine, just turn around and don't cause my city anymore distress." She said slowly backing away and turning to the voice behind her was a little girl. Raising an eyebrow she turned to check on Casius..

"I can sense where people are..." Emily said meekly, "Don't worry, Alice, we're here to help." and with that she smiled and offered to shake her hand. "I'm Emily" she said politely.

[I'm not gonna post anymore until ghost gets on. Enjoy kicking my butt >_<]

Karmy ran up and kicked Casius butt.

"I.. suppose.." Emily said hesitantly. "I will try my best."

Carafrost looked around the half-frozen streets. "Did... did I do that?" she asked as she stared at the ice covered buildings.

Mercy crossed her arms looking at the girl. She was almost half of her height. "Lead the way." if you know Alice Mau, you know she doesn't like being bossed around by those who are younger than her. But still she needed her for Joker if she was speaking the truth.

"But first we must get Matt," Emily replied as she turned and went over to where Matt was now lying on the ground, next to a willow tree. Emily gently nudged him awake, and smiled. "We're going to help Alice, all right?" she said as she helped Matt stand. "It shouldn't take too long..." and with that the 3 of them took off walking to the subways.

Once they reached the subway, they all got in together, and Emily kept bumping different people, causing her to constantly get visions of different people's pasts. "I never want to do that again!" Emily said in frustration as they finally got off the crowded subway. "Where are we going?" Matt asked as he followed behind Emily.

"An old abandoned warehouse..." Emily said, pointing to a building in the distance.
