Gotham City's Midnight Riders (ENDED)

Casius glared at Mercy. "Say, I know of you. You're Old man Deathstroke's girl, huh?" He said, amused to find a possible opponent that could amuse him. "In that case, this should be fun!" He said, firing a third blast out of his cannon...

"Yeah... how did you know?" Mercy asked and realized she might not get an answer if she didn't dodge fast. She was skimmed by the electromagnetic radiation and she twisted and fell to the ground. "Ugh! Wow.. what on earth?!" She asked getting up dizzy.

"ART THOU SURPRISED? TWAS FOOLISH TO CHALLENGE ME... DOMINICUS REPUBLICUS BILLUS CLINTONUS!!!" *Greht shot out a bolt of black mana at karmy and stunned her for a moment.* "TREAD LIGHTLY GIRL..." As Greht began to raise his blade to finish karmy, Greht was fragged by mercy!
"GAH FOOL, WHAT TRICKERY IS THIS?" Greht roared in pain

After the explosion Karmy was dazed. She saw Mercy get hit by the electric blast. "Greht!" she screamed and portaled behind Greht and and grabbed him around his neck, trying to choke him.

Casius chuckled. "Seems you weren't as good as I thought. My weapon is technically an EMP cannon, but it makes one helluva nerve disruptor!" he said proudly. With a well aimed kick, he sent Mercy flying. "As fun as this has been, we have business elsewhere." he said, turning to leave...

"GRAH! RELEASE ME AT ONCE! GET OFF THY BACK WENCH!"
*Greht rolled over on his back and crushed karmy under his armor :p*

Mercy was about to run after him when he heard Karmy scream under the weight of the crazy man. Casius must have been 7 feet tall. Fight him or save Karmy. "AGH!!!" She screamed in frustration and tried to force the crazy guy off of Karmy pissed that Casius got away.

Karmy quickly snapped her fingers portaled the hell outta of under the big guy. Landing in a heap on top of Casius. She quickly realized who she fell on top of, pulled out one of the guns she got from Mercy, and aimed it at the mans head.

"Not so fast!"

Mercy realized what Karmy had done. "No!! Karmy!" Mercy turned around and started spraying bullets at Casius' back, she ran and shot reloaded and shot.

"GAH A WITCH! I SHALL BURN YE AT YE STAKE CUR! HAVE AT THEE! Greht shot out a blast of flame at Karmy. "YOU SHALL PAY DEARLY."

Dress:
-Formal: A pink knee-length summer dress, a white hair band with a daisy, and sunglasses.
-Casual: A dark robe and blindfold.
Eyes: grey
Skin: a light complexion with rosy cheeks and mild freckles.
General: Appears to be a very weak young girl, but with her Clairvoyance Emily is a master of evasion, sensing attacks faster than they are executed.

Abilities:

Clairvoyance: Emily is able to sense her immediate surroundings, though it takes a bit of effort to do so. Because of this, she prefers to rely on her cane to maneuver about. If threatened, Emily is able to sense at high-speeds, allowing her to avoid any oncoming attacks. Because her sensing is not limited to in front of her, Emily can take on multiple enemies without much additional effort. Though long-distances are more difficult, Emily can sense major events in the distance. Unfortunately, if a telepath is strong enough to sense her “watching” them, they can interfere with her power. If the telepath also has psionic manipulation, they can knock Emily out through this psychic link.

Clairsentience: By touching an item or person, Emily is able to see its past. The longer she has physical contact, the farther back she can go. This is done by actually seeing the past, not reading memories. Because of this she is able to see the past of inanimate objects. This ability comes in useful when it comes to locks and codes, for by touching the key pad Emily is able to see the code required.

Precognition: Though she cannot control it, Emily will occasionally receive visions on what will happen in the future. These visions are not "what if" but rather "how" and "when".


Weapons/Techniques: Emily has learned some fighting with her cane, but her techniques are limited by her weak body.

Weaknesses: Emily, being blind, has difficulty doing daily tasks. She is also a very quiet and gentle child, and will often refuse to fight enemies. Through her clairvoyance, Emily is susceptible to telepathic interference, and even in danger of being attacked mentally.

Strengths: She is very persistent, and with her clairvoyance can help Matt get an edge in battle. Being adjusted to blindness, Emily has a great advantage in dark places and can easily take on enemies if they are unable to see.

Likes: Flowers, for even though she can not see them, she can still smell their fragrance. She also has grown attached to Matt as a “big brother figure”, and enjoys being around him. Emily loves to sit in peace and quiet, and to touch historical artifacts to learn about their origins. Emily also has fun running her hand along fence posts and seeing the faces of all the people who have done so in the past.

Dislike: Emily hates saying goodbye, for she does not like feeling alone. She also dislikes public restrooms, for self-explanatory reasons. Emily hates fighting, but will do so if she has no other option.

History: Being blind since birth, Emily grew up in an Orphanage. Often she would tell the other children “bedtime stories”, which were actually historical events. Despite the realistic details in her stories, the other children always thought it was just make-believe.

One day she sensed Matt (whom she did not know at the time), and was curious about his strange bio sign. She ran outside to follow him, and accidentally ran into traffic. When an oncoming truck was about to hit her, Matt grabbed her and saved her life. Since then the two have been inseparable. Emily showed Matt her abilities, and he told her about his.

Eyes: blue (green when he uses a lot of power)
Skin: a light tan
General: Good posture, fair complexion, and decently large muscles.

Abilities:

Plant Manipulation: Matt is able to manipulate any plants to grow, flower, or bear fruit. He can also manipulate where they grow. Having a bond with plants, Matt's mood will be reflected by the nearby flora. When attacked, Matt can use nearby plants to defend himself, although plantlife will naturally defend and protect him.

Ecological Empathy: Matt can “feel” the surrounding nature, and animals will not attack him.

Spontaneous Generation: Matt can “create” plants with great effort, and usually only does so in a time of great distress.


Techniques: By manipulating plants, Matt can entangle foes with vines, as well as pin them down with tree roots. His strongest technique is “plant puppetry” in which plants will respond directly with his movements. For example: Matt swings his arm in a direction, and the nearby tree swings its branch in the same way; Matt raises his arm, the tree raises its branches; etc.

Weaknesses: Matt is weakest when he is in an environment that is hostile to plantlife, whether it is the middle of a city with nothing but cement or underwater at a depth where plants would not survive. Ice can also damage plants, and fire can burn the plants faster than they grow.

Strengths: He is very strong when near a large amount of plantlife, and plants will defend him if he is injured. His strongest technique is sealing himself inside a tree, and bonding with it. Through this process Matt is able to rapidly accelerate the healing process, taking only minutes to recover from injuries.

Likes: Springtime, sunflowers, acoustic guitar, sunlight, and gentle breezes.

Dislike: fighting, but will do so if he must.

History: Growing up in the mountains of Kentucky, Matt has a great love for nature. When he visited Boston, he saved Emily from getting hit by an oncoming truck. Since then he and Emily have been very close, and he tries to always protect her.

Matt and Emily walked into the small cafe. It was nicely decorated, with photos of past owners and family members who had worked there. Upon reaching a table, Matt helped Emily get into her chair. "I'll be right back" he said with a smile, and began turning to the main counter to purchase the food. "Matt?" Emily said quietly. "What is it?" Matt replied, turning back towards her. "I.. I don't know. I had a dream last night, about a multitude of people... people like us." replied Emily as she slowly twiddled her thumbs. Matt felt curious to ask her more about the dream, but knew they needed to eat something. "I'll be right back, ok?" he said, and turned and walked to the counter. After a short while, Matt returned with a tray of food. "Here you go, I got you Autumn Salad-- your favorite.And for myself, a grilled sandwich." and as he set up their meal, Emily smiled to herself. "Thank you Matt" she replied happily, "I'm glad we have each other."

Matt was a bit surprised at the sudden topic, but smiled and replied "I am too." After they had finished eating, they began walking outside, and were surprised when he saw someone fly overhead. "Did they just..?" Matt began in disbelief. "Yes, Matt, they did." replied Emily, "They are one of them."

With bullets impacting wiht his armor and Karmy in front of him, Casius grew perterbed. He reached out and grabbed Karmy by the neck, and threw her with all of his might at Mercy...

Mercy was flung into the back of the museum as soon as she was hit by Karm. "Ughhh.. Shoulda fragged him too... She said aloud. She looked around as she often does to understand the situation so she could figure out her next move. She saw a set of throwing knives. She picked herself up and took the knives down.

Kahna finally caught up with Greht and was astonished at how many people were around..and wait was that a dragon? Man, she was confused. When she saw Greht shooting fire at some girl, she knew things were getting hot. She slowly pulled out a broadsword that she had strapped onto her back and was getting ready to step into the fray.

Karmy picked her self from off the floor and looked to see Mercy running off already. "Oi vey.." and she portaled in front of Casius. She started sending all different kinds of attacks his way, looking for a weak point in his armor.

As the stranger approached them, Matt stepped in front of Emily in fear he might have to protect her. "It's all right" giggled Emily, and she began walking towards the stranger, gently tapping her cane on the ground as she moved along. "Hello", she said, "I am Emily. It's nice to meet you." and with that she held out her hand in greeting.

Casius chuckled as Karmy tried to hit him. "Come on kid, if you REALLY wanna hurt me, you gott hit me hard- like THIS!" he said, And hoisted a nearby car up over his head. Swinging it like a club, he flung it at Karmy...

As Emily shook the lady's hand, her mind was filled with images of her past. Scenes... confusing scenes, of a little girl weeping for a dead woman, and images of a dragon. But just as quickly as the handshake had begun, it ended, and so did the visions.

"So, you are running from someone?" she asked meekly, putting her hand to her forehead. "Emily, that's enough." said Matt. "It's all right, Matt," Emily replied, "she is like us." and with that Emily gave Adela a quick hug. "It's all right", Emily said reassuringly, "The future seems a bit brighter now."

"I'm 22! I ain't no kid!" and she portaled behind himand roundhoused him the head.

(Damn drunkenness.. I edited my last post, 3 pages back.. How do I get into this fight?)

Mercy was surprised that the car went flying like a little kid throwing his matchbox cars into the wall, but still she started throwing the knives at Casius' neck and in between shoulder blades hoping she would get some flesh contact.

Casius spun around as Mercy's knives were repeled by his armor, but when he tried to direct an atack at her, Karmy atacked in his face, blocking his line of sight. "Why you little punks!" Casius said, trying to swat Karmy away with punches and kicks.

Jumping on top of the car he tried to throw, Karmy body slammed ontop of the man.

"Geeze if you're gonna call us small and little you might as well be another foot tall and a hundred years old!" Mercy said as she threw her last knife and drew her knife and ran up to Casius.
