Any cop that thought a simple van could hold two of the most feared assasins since Deathstroke the Terminator got themselves a rude awakening. Tearing the side of the van was no more dificult than tearing a sheet of paper. And naturaly, Ghost paid them back in interest by blowing the van sky-high. The drivers weren't killed, but they sure as hell would need an asprin... or twenty. After having reclaimed their weapons, the two juggernauts escaped into the city...

Two face emerged from the shadows where Greht had just knocked the Joker for a loop. Fliping his coin in his left hand, he looked at him. "Impresive." he mused.

Ivy put her hands down. The man was gone. Shoot. She plopped down in the grass, and glanced at Adela. She looked slightly better. At least we helped somebody she mused to herself, now gazing at the clouds.

"Hey," Mercy called out to the group, she clapped her hands to get their attention. "we gotta get moving! We can't just lay in the grass and watch the clouds! Lets get Karmy some coffee already!" Mercy said wanting to see some mayhem on what the criminals did to Gotham and see how it truly felt.

Aurora's eyes were bloodshot as she tried to keep them open. She limped after the group and mumbled, "Some coffee would really hit the spot right now.." However, as worn out as she was, Aurora could feel her powers coursing through her veins as the stormy weather slowly but surely gave her strength.

Mercy noticed how Aurora was struggling. Encouraging words was probably the most she could give right now, because how everything was moving, it would be near impossible to grab a single cup of coffee. "Hey," She said motioning to her. "heroes may lose fights, but they never quit."

Aurora immediately looked up and tried to regain proper posture, but the pain in her chest was too great. "Too much laughing gas.." she joked. "Th-thanks Mercy.. it means a lot hearing that from you." And with that, she increased her pace and straightened her posture, trying not to seem so weak.

(Oh the irony!!! I fell asleep not too long ago! Sorry about that!)

Karmy just stared at Mercy for a few seconds. Mercy was about to give her a funny look when she tackle hugged her older friend. "Hells freakin yeah!! By the time I'm done with my coffee, this town won't know what hit it!" and she started to think of a place to go.

"Heyeheyeheyeh! I'm not making any promises!" Mercy said rather apologetically. "I'm not sure if any coffee shop is open, and if they are some gang could have pillaged it." She looked at Karmy who had a frown spread across her face instantly. "But.. we can try." Mercy assured, trying to cheer her up.

"Oh! I know!" Karmy said and she snapped her fingers. They were all standing in an intact vegan store. "No one ever wants to attack a vegan place! Thank you hippie knowledge!" and she made a break for the coffee aisle.

"Vegan.... Coffee?" Mercy asked as she walked down the isles of the incredibly strange store. Nothing there was made or came from anything that had any meat on its bones whatsoever. She picked up a glass bottle of green tea. No one was around and she was thirsty anyways. She popped it open and took a sip. Instantly as the liquid hit her tongue she spat it out. "Oaghhh!! What is this thing!? A urine sample?" Mercy asked perplexed, she had never had anything that tasted so bitter or vile. "Karmy, isn't there bottled water here or something?" She called out looking at the wide selection of other bottled teas.

Casius sloughed down the road, Ghost not far away. "Miserable punks- messed up my armor." He grumbled, looking at his scorched and pocmarked armor.

Towface made his way down the street, a wide-brimmed hat blocking the bad half of his face from view. As he did, he passed Gotham cemetary, and noticed a grave had been put in overnight- probably the girl joker iced last ngiht. He ocnsidered it little consequence- odds are, other heroes would be up to accompany her. He walked past, and made hsi way into town. As he did, he noticed Karmy and the others. Because the bad half of his face was obscured, he decided to know more about his potential enemies as people, as well as their combat capabilities. "Hello there." He said, approaching cautiosly. [Keep in mind he is dressed in a regular outfit and his bad side is hidden by a hat.]

Karmy came out from the coffee aisle holding many bags of strong coffee. "Well, there's some mineral water down that aisle, a good selection of soy milk down that one, and oh!" she said dropping everything into a wooden basket "I can't believe they have it!" and she ran to a nearby cooler and pulled something out. "Tofu water!" she said holding it close ina hug.

Looking at the tofu water a curious eye-brow rose on Mercy's face. "Tofu... Water. Don't they have a waterfountain around here or something? Something normal? Anywhere?" Mercy asked in desperation. That or she wanted to drop by somewhere else.

"Hey, there's mineral water and spring water. The spring water is cow friendly too!" Karmy took a swig of the tofu water(btw I did make this up) "Ahhhh now that's refreshing!"

Mercy was about to remark tofu water again when she noticed the man in the two tone suit. "Who're you?" Mercy asked cautiously, fingers dancing over her guns.

"You can call me Mr.D. I just noticed that you are the heroes from the other night, that fought those dreadful men Casius and Ghost, and fended off numerous other fiends in one night." Twoface remarked, being careful to not be found out. After all, he wanted to know about them- know thy enemy, know thyself.

Karmy was on edge, she didn't know whether she should trust this guy or not. So she played dumb, "Mr.D? As in Mr.Deeds? Dude I want your water fountain! But instead of water or Hawaiian punch it would be iced esspresso!"
