Gotham City's Midnight Riders (ENDED)

Mercy didn't know what was happening how it was happening so quickly, she tried to move but found herself immobilized. She couldn't reach for her guns! She felt dizzy, she was being thrashed about in a haze of black magic and she could only scream.

"Holy Crap! Greht stole Mercy!!" and Karmy portaled on top of Greht. Pulling out a rifle, she aimed it at his face. "Let her go Greht!"

Ivy stared in shock. Were ANY of the people she hung out with normal? The earth beneath her rumbled, and lifted up forming a rouch circular shape. She used it to fly towards Mercy, Karm and the maniac Greht. At this rate, they may never rescue Matt...

(Cara is with you guys, right?)

"BAH! AND WHAT DOTH YE THINK YE BE ABLE TO DO WITH THAT TRINKET?" A bolt of black mana snapped forth and snatched the gun by the barrel. Using powerful control, he dismantled it piece by piece.
He spoke insouciently "Doth ye value your possessions child? Perhaps you would best be served with the shame of defeat..." Greht uttered a powerful spell
"LUNESTAS MAKEUS HERUS SLEEPUS!"
Karm immediately lost all cognitive function, and began to spiral down towards the ground. "This time, I have won..." Greht flew off into the sky.

(Im just guna act like im with ya'll)

Cara saw Greht fly off into the sky and shouted "Not so fast!" Her hands started to glow and she threw icebolts at Greht

Mercy wide eyed wondered what Greht planned to do with her. She tried to move again, but she was trapped. No way out. He was right, he won. She needed to do so many things... yet nothing was getting accomplished. All hope seemed lost.

Ivy had an idea. Growing up, she learned to talk to animals. Hopefully, Greht's horse wasn't any different. Dodging Cara's icebolts as she went, she soared close to the black stallion. In an assortment of neighs and whistles, she asked, "Can you please stop?" and then offered, "I'll give you a sugarcube!"

Then Ivy remembered...KARM!!! She turned on her rock just in time to see Karm about to hit the earth. She surrounded Karm in an orb of air, slowing her fall. Finally, she gently fell on a patch of grass, and vines grew over her in a form of blanket.

She focused on speaking to the horse again.

"GAHAHAHAHA!" Greht ripped throught what seemed to be the very fabric of reality, and drug mercy with him. The portal closed as the ice bolts entered the proximity.
Mercy awoke in a wasteland, disparaged and confused.
"Where are we?" She said hazily
"Kjeldor, land of ancient wood. I cannot enter these woods, for there art be divine energies within them. Dark souls cannot enter, and magic itself is stifled within the realm. The ineffable spirit lies within, and gaurds the summoners stone. You will follow the path and retrieve the relic for me, and return with it. Perhaps you shall live if you do so accordingly... You are clearly the strongest of will and heart, and only you have what it takes to retrieve it. Be wary, many powerful beasts gaurd it, so you must be sly."

Two face was impressed. "You are as clever as you are powerful." Towface said to Ben as Matt destroyed the tree. "I could use a man of your talent." He said to him. He stole Matt away from half a dozen superheroes- that meant he had raw talent. He noticed Ghost. "Ah, all of my associates in one place. Convenient." He mused, fliping his coin constantly in one hand.

Mercy's eye twitched in disbelief. "You want me to do your dirty work for you?!" She asked incredulity. She looked at the barren wasteland and saw a path that lead down down down. "And if I do this... you'll bring me back and help everyone?" she asked drawing her guns.

Karmy awoke to the feel of vines around her. Pushing them off, she looked around for everyone. Artnois, Aurora and Carafrost were running out of the shop, and Ivy was staring at where Greht was. "No! Mercy!" she had lost another friend to another crazy villain. As she slammed her fist into the ground, she suddenly got an idea.

She snapped her fingers and jumped through the portal. Mercy was completely bewildered when suddenly a portal opened up in her shoe and Karmy fell out with a thump.

"HELP EVERYONE? I doth not sure about that one. But so otherwise is the pact."

"Mercy!!" Cara screamed as they dissapeared. "Where did they go?"

Mercy looked at Karmy, then looked at Greht. "Karmy!!! Can .. can she help me out?" she asked Greht.

"Of course she can. You're going to need all the help you can GET!!!! XDDDD"
Greht bellowed a deathly laugh.

Karmy kicked Greht. "Where are we? Help with what?"

Mercy headed forth. "We gotta get some damn stone for this maniac. C'mon Karmy!" She walked past dead trees in the wasteland they followed a faint path that only kept getting darker and darker. "I don't like the looks of this Karmy." she told her as it started to get so dark they could barely see what was in front of them.

"Perhaps the witch can explain it to you. Now be gone! I have little time to fritter with you!" Greht vanished into the air.

"Well crap..." Karmy said as they walked down the road. "If only he had described the place to me! Then we could have portaled there and be done with this sonense!"

(Yay insomnio word!)

"Oh well... I don't suppose you have a flashlight in that back pack of yours now do you?" Mercy asked, she whipped it out and turned it on. Unfortunately when she shined the torch it only revealed about a foot ahead. "Is.. that flashlight running out of battery or is the darkness that think?" she asked getting colder.

Karmy looked straight into the flashlight. Idiot. After a few minutes of blindness, Karmy could see again. "Aha!" she reached into the bulb and pulled out a piece of tofu. The light was now brighter. "So that's where it was!" and she ate the tofu.

Mercy studied their surroundings. The road.. it was gone! "Holy Grim Fandango! Where do we go now?" Mercy asked in fear. She held her guns tightly as they started to hear rustling about. Breathing. Something. Was alive.
