Re: Random Chat
I used to love Fridays...until I heard this song.
I'll grant moderator status to anyone that can listen to this song wihtout getting a sudden urge to rip their ears off.

Re: Random Chat
Not really, I mean she should totally fire her song writer, the words are totally unimaginative a little boring and more or less terrible, but the singing itself isn't that bad, if she didn't give that huge nasally inflex to the 'I' in Friday every time she sung it her singing wouldn't be half as bad.
Also whomever did the effects for that 'pencil' drawing of her signing should be shot.

Re: Random Chat
I know, right? The lyrics are so bland. Songs like show how the standard for what is called ''Music'' has been lowered significantly and disgraceful. (A fact we've known for a while now, but still.)

If you look up the word ''Wife'', you'll see that it is not synonomous with ''Maid''.

Depends on how archaic your dictionary is. "Wife" used to be synonymous with "slave," you see.

http://politicsreport.com/news/arizona-governor-brewer-proposes-fat-fee
It says only obese people or smokers on medicaid that don't follow their doctor's prescriptive plans for improving their health will be charged the ''fat fee. This whole fee is supposed to save the medicaid program enough money to fund organ transplants. But you can see it written all over her face in that picture: ''Fat people are gross.'' XD

Soooo these american students came to our school today..
Is it really true that some of you go to school in your pyjamas? XD

Only on pajama day. The students who come to school in their pajamas when it's not pajama day are likely the same ones who are going to be pregnant and on welfare at the tender age of 18.
Any other misconceptions you'd like to have dispelled?

Haha. She said that the way we dress is more formal, even though we don't wear uniforms. Just normal clothes. :l
Ehm, another girl said that most american schools were outdoor schools? Not sure what she meant with that though.
Oh yeah. Your schools apparently don't have many stairs, they're just flat. XD

1. By "outdoor schools," she means that the school isn't one great big giant building. The schools that I went to--and I suspect this isn't as common as your guests led you to believe--were campuses with a large amount of outside exposure. As opposed to a single building with interior corridors leading to all the different classrooms, there are several small buildings with several classrooms each, and no interior corridors.
Am I at all clearing this up? :/
2. Well, no; it comes with the territory. The schools I went to were all on ground level, so there was naturally no need for stairs all willy-nilly. That's not to say there aren't ANY stairs, but it depends on whether or not your school was built on a hill.

Re: Random Chat
I'm Canadian, so I don't know if I count, but pajamas would get you suspended, our buildings tend to have a few campuses with gardens and such outside, however the buildings are between 2 and 5 stories depending on the size of the school and number of buildings it is comprised of.
My high school was made up of two three floor buildings and a two story building which made a C shape surrounding the garden and outdoor portion of the cafe. Then there was just the short walk down the pathway to get to the theatre for drama and music stuffs. Also the gym was somewhere, but I don't remember where exactly.

Both my middle schools had 2 stories, my first high school had 2 stories, my second high school use to be a mall, but another competing high school next to us had 10 stories or so.

Re: Random Chat
I went to two high schools. On of which had two stories and the other used to be an open concept school. Which means that once; WAY back when, it used to have no walls. All there were, were pillars with letters on them to tell students where their classes were.
You can see why this was a horrible idea and only lasted 4 years. Lots of sneaky pot heads in Washington state.

I seeeeee. That's kinda cool. ;D
Haha yes, I can imagine how American schools look now. Because of some movies I used to think there'd be cheerleaders all over the place, you could sleep in class and stuff. :'D

I think the farthest I listened to that song was 45 seconds.

It certainly was. I vowed to myself I was never going to listen to the full thing without eating my own face. Same thing with any Justin Beiber songs.
