The Darkness Before Dawn

As she dodged the bullets, though one grazed her arm, Kamica smiled and almost laughed. Brat? Ok, yeah, that she was if she wanted to be. But thinking she could do what she wanted? Ha, only in a fight. Turning back to Raven she rolled her eyes. "Maybe you should get some new tricks." She created ice shards, and made the objects like Swiss cheese.

As amused as Ilia was watching the spectacle, she could only watch for so long. With a snap of her fingers, all fo the drones withdrew their weapons and aimed them at the pests before her. "You really ought to get tactical, Kamica." Ilia said with a monotone scold. "As for the rebel punks, I simply fail to see why atacking a fully armed patrol could be anyone's impression of a good idea...." She said. The drones took aim, and prepared to fire...

Alaska had never bee frozen before but getting out of sticky situations was easy. She phased out of the ice and phased back, "Hey kid you have some serious angst issuses! Let me to teach you some manners!" She yelled at her running over to Robin she phased him out of the ice he was entrapped by and phased him out. "What are you-?" He asked. "No time Batboy!" She told him rushing him out. "Batboy?" She rephased him and flew into the air with him. "How are you--?" "Get ready Batkid!" Alaska threw Robin at Kamica, his staff was still in his hands. Robin was still surprised but cracked the staff at Kamica's head. Falling down Alaska pulled out her hand gun and fired off two rounds before phasing and hitting the floor.

Ilia crossed her arms and sighed. If they were so eager to die, so be it. She gave one simple order-
"Kill them."
The drones sprung to action, and bullets poured from their weapons, shot after shot being firead at all of the heroes.

Annesthetize , after breaking through the ice, jumped and dodged from the bullets. If she could touch Ilia or Kamica, anyone, then she could blind them. If she could just get close enough...

"Kill 'em. Sounds fun." Blade commented, aiming more shuriken at all of them.

Timekeeper watched the fight from above, a curious look on her face. She didn't particularly want to fight, she was never much of a fighter anyways. If it ever came down to a fight, she could just easily stop time and knock the person out. No, she wanted to wait and see. See who was the highest bidder. Who had the most to offer her.

Kamica ducked to dodge but the staff still got her. She landed on the ground and watched the world spin for a while. "Wellhowdidyoulearnfly?" She slurred getting up. Where those guys on her side? Oh wait, they were shooting other people, so yeah, they problely were. Kamica fired with them, shoting light and darkness in the direction the bots were fireing.

Robin landed in the direct line of fire, "I know we can't!" He screamed at Raven, "Where did that other girl go?! ARHG!" Robin was shot in the chest and in the same leg twice. He fell on the ground.

As soon as the bullets came flying in Alaska phased again and tried to save her beautiful bike. A failed attempt. Her Harley blew up into a thousand different pieces. Sh*t! She loved that bike as her own, and in the blink of an eye it was gone. She heard the scream from Robin, turning quickly, bullets flying through her she dashed over to Robin, who had been shot again in his arm, phased him and began to run with him.

Ilia didn't make a move, but watched as the drones and Kamica fired, watching with a cold gaze as they continued to keep the the heroes at bay.It was then she saw Anesthise burst through and dash for them. It was her cue. With deceptive speed, She dashed at Anes., took a swipe with her wristblades as she dashed past, and tourned to look and see if she hit...

As the ground cracked below her, Kamica tried to hold it together. Dang she was going to have alot of clean up later. "Danm*t." She said and felt where Robin had hit her. Blood, nice.

"Ouch!"Annesthetize had a long cut on her left arm. No matter. She touched her hand to it, letting her abilities do the work for her. Her left arm was completely numb now. She flipped out her gun, aiming at Ilia. She said nothing. Words weren't needed.

Blade hurled more ninja stars, all aimed for Robin, Raven, and Savannah. Throwing them at Alaska would be a waste, since the girl phased through them.

Alaska screamed as she was running and all of a sudden she was being sucked away, she let Robin go, and everything was going black. What was happening was completely confusing to her, her eyes were wide open. Or were they Eyes Wide Shut? Kubrick began to make sense. Then the darkness flew away like a black bird into the sun. "Where... am I?"

Ilia didn't need to think twice to follow up. Seeing that she landed a hit, she wasted no time in getting up close and trying to atack Annesthize up closee, to keep her from getting a lock on her and firing the gun. She relentlessly flung punshes, kicks, and blade swipes at her.

However, their action didn't go unnoticed- several other squads had caught on to the sound of the fight, and were on their way to investigate...

Annesthetize dodged as best as she could, finally finding a chance to lay a hand on Ilia. "Won't hurt a bit." She grinned, using her ability to dull Ilia's senses. Not completely, but enough to make her almost in a drunk kind of stupor.

The sound of oncoming droids scared her, making her quickly remove her hand and start to skitter away.

Ilia reeled a bit from the technique, but it made no difference- enough drones were arriving now that it didn't matter if she was in the fight or not. Several Blocker drones cloped over towards Ilia, and began to fire a barage of lazer blasts at Annesthize, while Ilia pulled back, keeping her blades up in a defensive position.

Kamica walked up behind Ilia and watched Annesthize go. "So... I won't tell Slade we lost the Titans if you don't." The rain was washing the blood from her hair, and the wound wasn't so bad. If they said nothing, he wouldn't find out and the girls wouldn't be chewed out.

Annesthetize kept her mouth shut. Not a peep. Not a word. A mask really would have been a good idea, she realized, to keep her identity secret as a rebel. She aimed her gun again, before realizing a gun wouldn't do too much good. Instead, she snagged a grenade from her pocket. Took out the pin. Hurled it at the nearest group of drones. She took the grenade as a distraction, and attempted to escape.

Blade stood alongside Kamica and Ilia. She was still working her way up as well, but she knew missing out on capturing the Titans was a big deal. "My mouth is zipped." She replied, pocketing any shuriken she had left in her hands.

Ilia nodded in agreement absently. She didn't want to be there if/when Slade found out the titans had slipped out of their fingers. The grenade's explosion caught her by suprise, and blasted the drones nearby to the ground. Slade was gonna want to know what became of his drones. They were SO dead......

Kamica cocked her head as she looked at the blasted drones. "Well geez, lightning can do some damage, right gals?" She said with alittle wink. "Cover story, I got bored, started to draw without looking really, storm came and got out of control. So you two stay on Slade's somewhat-good side, and I get something to kill my boredem."

Ilia shivered, and from the cold of the falling snow- Slade was going to knwo the differenc ebetween a lightning strike an a grenade blast, but the damage was going to be done one way or anther. Instructing a squad of drones to pick up the peices and clean up the area, she looked about the area, her vision and other senses coming back slowly but sureley.

Weather: light snow and light wind

Making a snowball, Kamica turned it into pure ice and held it on the back of her head. Looking for more cuts and/or wounds, she found where a bullet had grazed her. "Ilia, and... what is it? Anyways, I'm going to go find a pen or somthing to draw with and make some band-aids."

Stratocaster woke with a start from a bad dream when he glanced at the clock. 8:00 pm. "Damn, I need to check out!" He said. He messily made the bed, grabbed the room key, went to the lobby, returned the key and walked out into the snow.

Sence stratocaster didn't have a house of his own, he figured he might as well walk around town to kill the time. Stratocaster tuned around a street corner when he saw drones, some girl, and what looked like a mini war zone. Stratocaster ran up to the battle scarred area and said, "What the hell......"

"Perfect.. Time.... To snow." Robin winced, blood was pouring out of his chest. "I'm not going to make it." Alaska and Raven tried their hardest to bring him back, they couldn't stop the bleeding and there was no medical supplies in a Two mile radius. "What are you gonna do hotpants?" Alaska frantically asked Raven. "Get away from me." Robin said swapping his hand at them. "Hey kid we're just trying to help! But hey if you want to bleed to death, be my guest, asshole!" Alaska yelled at him giving him the finger.

Annesthetize coughed, running from the debris and explosions behind her. Ten blocks. Always ran ten blocks before hiding again. By the fourth block, the coughing subsided, making the sprint much easier. Soon, she was able to stop, concealing herself in the shadows of the first alley she saw.

She gasped a sigh of relief. "Waaay....too...close.."

"Blade." Blade replied to Kamica, slowly retreating to the shadows. If she caught even one rebel, without Kamica or Ilia's assistance, the promotion opportunities were endless.

Ilia considered bringing stratocaster down there and then, but he refrained- somehow. "Get back to your dwelling. Curfew is in half an hour."She said in a 'I'm in a bad mood- don't mess with me' tone. "C'mon you two, we'll leave the drones to pick up here, if I don't have something on Slade's desk in an hour he's gotta get pissed." She said, none too enthusiastically.

Hotspot, still smarting from his previous failed attempt to nab the patrol, was suprised to hear familiar voices as he mauvered about, preparing to head to wher ehe was staying to avoid curfew patrols, which would be out soon. Hearing Robin, he was suprised to find him there with the others, apparently injured. "Damn man, you like like hamburger meat!" He said, rushing over to check on him.
