The Darkest of Knights

"Dude, aren't you a bit old for the whole TV geek bit?" Beast Boy mocked as he changed back. "That's a nice remote." Karmy pointed out. "I wouldn't mind having one of those." she finally found something useful in the bag. She pulled out a bow and a single arrow. "I had more of these in my bag.." she huffed. "Lemme see if I can knock it outta his grip" she strung the arrow and aimed it at the remote.

[Give me a bit to approve Robin...]

"Hee Haw!!" Control Freak wailed clicking his remote, a force field protected the pudgy villain. "You're going to have to do better than that Titans!" He yelled clicking his button again, suddenly the entire candy store turned into his own personal sweet toothed army. "Attack!!" He ordered. "Oh boy, not this again." Cyborg grumbled shooting at the sugar coated foes. "Take this! And that!" He said clicking his remote at the floors of the candy store. The entire shop had tuned into his weapon. "Get to cover quick!" Red Robin screamed as the tiles shot around in different directions.

"Shi.." Karmy fired the arrow to prevent a gumball machine from shooting lethal gum at her. "This candy is evil.." she said as she dove behind the counter. "Crap, crap, crap." she was rooting around the bag again for anything. "Hat, gear, broken bicycle, pencil-OW!." A Reeses cup was chewing on her ear. She took the pencil and skewered the candy with it. "Useful but one time deal..." she continued to root around the bag and pulled out a pitchfork. "This could work." she twirled it in her hands and portaled into the fray.

"What the heck!? Who are you?" Control Freak asked, "She's the person that will kick your butt!" Cyborg screamed over shooting an army of twix. "This is humiliating! Fighting a bunch of candy? C'mon Control Freak have some sympathy and turn yourself in before channel 4 gets here." Red Robin mocked as he brutally chopped a crunch bar in half. "Don't underestimate my power Red Loser!" Control Freak threatened. "Wow that was a lame comeback." Alice remarked pulling the key off a flashgrenade. "Karmy, now!" She said throwing it and blinding the obese opponent. "Gah! You're not going to win Titans! I won't let you!" He screamed shielding his eyes.

"Sure, why not. We don't have the home-field advantage though, so be extra careful Robin." Batgirl said putting on the rest of her costume.

Karmy had pulled out a long piece of rope from her bag and tied it into a lasso. "Can't stay in Texas and not learn how to lasso." she portaled close enough and twirled the rope over her head. After getting enough speed, she threw it and the remote, snagging it and yanking it out of his hand. "I'll take that." she pulled it back and pushed the off button. Everything in the store, including the building itself, gave in to gravity's clutches and flopped down, no longer alive.

"Hey, you're Metallo aren't you?" A man in a strange mask asked the hulking humanoid. "The name is Deadshot, but you can call me Deadshot. Glad to meet you." He said sticking his hand out to him. "How the hell did you find me?" Metallo barked and swiped at Deadshot's hand. "Hey, hey! Its not like I was looking for you. You just so happen to be in my favorite sniping spot." Deadshot explained. "That and I've been trying to get the Riddler off my back, he's so damn annoying." Deadshot said looking around to make sure he wasn't there. "You just can't out match my genius!" The Riddler grinned walking in. "Argh! Where do you keep coming from?" Deadshot asked outraged. "That's a riddle you'll have to solve on your own." He smiled. "Okay wait back up!" Metallo shouted. "How do you know me? And why are you here?" He demanded. "Word on the street says Thorne wants to talk to you. No idea why, just heard to pass the message on." Deadshot explained. "What's a normal human to me? I eat-" "Superman for breakfast, yadda yadda yadda. Just get out of my spot will ya?" Deadshot asked prepping his scope.

Before long Metallo was in Slade's position, riding up an elevator without music. Awkward.


"Haha! How right you are Raven of the Teen Titans!" Control Freak laughed, "That remote was a diversion! This remote is the new one!!" He screamed revealing a larger remote with more knobs. "This allows me to summon what I wish from wherever I want!" He crackled pushing a button and a large monster came crashing out. "Wow.. Okay, didn't foresee this coming!" Red Robin panicked jumping out of the way as the monster ripped through the wall of the candy store and out into Jump City's Streets.

Karmy looked down at the remote she had swiped. "And another fail for Karmy." she muttered glumly and smashed the remote with her foot. . "Hmm.." Beast Boy thought as he watched the raging monster go by. "I've seen that monster somewhere before.."

"Oh! Is one monster too easy for you? How bout more?!" Control Freak asked pressing his remote control like a toy, summoning larger monsters at the tip of his fingers. "How do you like me now Titans? Never expected a geek to be a threat huh?" He boasted. "Oh great, how hard is he going to make it to get to his damn remote?" Red Robin raged as he tried his hardest to dodge tackling monsters, one nailed him in the chest with a headbutt, thoroughly knocking him over. "Red!" Cyborg cried shooting several monsters. "Frag out, hit the deck!" Alice warned.

Batgirl and Robin hit the streets. It wasn't long till they found where the action was coming from. "Hey Robin, did you bring your binoculars? Can you check what's going on over there?" She asked.

Karmy snapped her fingers and opened up a portal, diving in to avoid the frag. She appeared in Ra's' meeting room and slapped Dick upside the head. By the time she was done with that, the frag had gone off so she portaled back without another word. "Great, now I can't see where I-.." the smoke had cleared enough around her that she could see a large mass towering over her. "Aww crap.."

[*blinkblink* okay, I'm relinquishing control to who needs it today.]

Ivy had rummaged through her two luggages and found enough for two days, fitting it neatly in a brown knapsack.

Now, in Ra's Al Ghul's practical palace, it took all her strength to keep a blank expression. The man had lived hundreds of years, chances were he had more than one house like this. She swore it was bigger than half of the houses located in Gotham. Despite herself, she found herself observing what she could of the place and only half listening to the discussion between Dick and Ra's.

"Monsters?" Barbara asked flabbergasted. "Well... I don't know what this Control Freak is capable of, but maybe we should get over there quickly." Batgirl said shooting her grapple hook out to latch onto a building. "Lets move Robin!"

"Hahaha! You think these guys are big?!" Control Freak asked pompously, he turned several dials and knobs on his remote. "See how you like the King of Monsters!" He hit the button and a giant green monster began forming on the battle field. "Oh c'mon, this guy watches too many dubbed Japanese movies." Red Robin complained getting up and rubbing his head. "Karmy, can't you portal over to his remote?" Alice asked over her gunfire.

Karmy stood up and glared at Alice. "Oh c'mon Al, you seriously think I can just snap my fingers," she snapped her fingers. "Open up a portal above the remote," a portal opened up above the remote. "And reach in and grab the remote!?" she did just that. "That's just like, RP impossible righ-" she looked at the remote in her hand. "Huh.."

"It's GOJIRRA!" A japanese bystandard yelled running away.

"You-.. my remote!! Give it back! Get it back!!" Control Freak yelled, he began flipping out. "Go! GO! What are you waiting for?" He yelled at his monsters, they looked at him with blank faces. "What? I'm your master, I created you!" He spat. "Oh brother." Red Robin sighed as he took a birdarang out and nailed Control Freak in the forehead, thoroughly knocking him out.

Karmy looked down at the remote, pressed the off button and quietly stuck it into the lantern bag, hiding it underneath the fake fruit that was in there.

"You're tell me, we didn't get any action at all!" Batgirl whined as she landed in front of the heroes. "Sorry Batgirl and uhh.. Robin," Red Robin apologized scratching the back of his head "duty calls. You know how it gets, we go on with or without you." "Though it would have been nice to have you with us." Cyborg commented pushing rubble off his chest and standing up. News broadcast began to creep up on the heroes, the press took several pictures. "At least the publicity pays off." Red Robin smiled brushing himself off.

Karmy jumped slightly when she heard the click of the cameras. "Uh.." she hid behind Beast Boy. "Can we get outta here? I don't like the media."

Red Robin waved at a camera team. "Any comments Red Robin?" One man asked. "How was the fight? Any comments?" Another said shoving a microphone in his face. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. We're just doing our job and protecting the city. It's nothing big!" He flashed a smile. "Yo Red! I think that mask might be a bit too tight on your head!" Cyborg said walking up to the cameras. "Geez, what happened to the secret hero?" Batgirl asked.

"Okay, lets get out of here." Batgirl said pinching a section of Red Robin's mask and walking away. "Hey! C'mon! We need the publicity!" Red Robin argued. "What? Why?" Batgirl wondered, that had to be the dumbest thing she's heard, especially from someone like Tim Drake. "Well, the Teen Titans work differently from the way Batman did." he explained. "We have to let the villains know who runs this town."

"Hey, I was there too!" Beast Boy ran up in front of the cameras and started showing off his muscles. "Yeah, pure man right there, people!" continued to flaunt. Karmy cringed and slipped away from the press, not wanting to get caught in the crossfire. She wasn't in her normal clothes, just a red shirt and jeans of Nicole's, and even the black bag around her shoulder felt strange. The only thing that made her, Karmy was the purple headband on her head and he ring around her finger. Slumping against the wall, she took out the remote and pointed it to some dead leaves. The came to life and she made them dance around in front of her.

The press finally began breaking up after Batgirl promptly shooed them away. A clean up crew soon arrived at the scene of the crime, and everyone was ready to leave. "Nice trophy you got there." Alice said from behind Karmy. She sat down next to her gazed upon the small spectacle.

"Hey hey! Guess who?" A cheery voice came from Mr. Freeze's head set. "I'd rather not Nygma." Mr. Freeze splurted. "I'm trying to lay low. It doesn't help if you keep calling my cell where the government can track us down." He sighed rubbing the fishbowl that covered his head. "Hey, hey now. I'm just trying to break the ice man!"
"Hmm. Icy what you did there Nygma."
"Hey now, don't give me the cold shoulder, Freeze."
"No one has an ice cold pundra like I do! So stop that!"
"Fine.. They're stupid anyway."
"Send me some snail mail next time you want to talk."
"What about your address?"
"Find me."

Astro came out of the bathroom and glanced over the empty Tower. "What the...How do they do that? I'm the only one who ever stops to use the restroom!" he ranted aloud. "Guess that's something overlooked in RP's." He paused in the living room to wait for the others.

"Very.." Karmy mumbled and pressed another button on the remote. Now the leaves were KUNG-FU FIGHTING!!! and dancing. One began to sing the song but no one could really understand what it was saying. Who knew leaves could sing? "Not so evil, just gotta know how to use it." she pressed another button and the leaves bowed to each other.
