Dani jumped slightly when the sniper spoke to her, only squeezing her lips together into a thin line in response. She listened silently as her comrades decided on what to do with the sniper, feeling sorry for the poor girl whose body and control was taken in exchange for a practically mindless killer. "So...We're headed to Metropolis?" She finally piped up, sympathetic eyes still on the seemingly petite girl.

"Let me take a look at her." Jack said as he activated the X-ray function on his visor. Jack gave out a long wistle. "Holy cow, your'e right, Sir this girl as got to have at least 6 implants." by judging the size and shape of most of these implants, most of them improved vision, reaction time, and stamina. I cant tell any more about the other two, just that they are directly attached to her spinal chord.

"I can get you the address of a rocket surgeon if that's what you need Cass." Oracle said through the frequency. "Its like a rocket scientist and a brain surgeon put together." Oracle joked as she flowed through maps in Metropolis, several red buildings were isolated indicating the certain specialists needed to do the job. "You might be able to force this guy named Marco Vlaski to do it for free. Be careful though. He's Russian."

[Dude...... I totally forgot Jenga......]

Cassius was about to make a comment when Jenga plodded up. "Assholes, didn't leave any fighting for me." He murmered as Cassius listened to Jack. "Whatever it may be, We need to find a doctor." Casisus said, then listening to Oracle. "You almost had me untill you said Russian." Cassius said, trying to joke. "Silliness aside, would this guy know a lot about implants and how Phenix does their dirty work? Because if HE dosen't, I know another guy in Metropolis who knows all about this stuff." Cassius asked Oracle, recalling one doctor in particular......

"It all has to do with who you trust Cassius." Oracle replied, "He's the best at what he does, should be a cake walk for him. Though you might want to look into convincing him." She advised looking up his records. Hostility was a minor detail.

Cassius squinted at his end of the line. "Before I go to YOUR guy, I want to know more. I'm not going to take as valuable an asset as a Phoenix agent or as delicate as a phoenix abuse case to any Tom Dick n' Harry, much less a HOSTILE one." Cassius said, suddenly doubting this scource.

Cassius thought for a second. This IS the oracle, not like she'd send them to some chop shop. But it WAS two o-clock in the morning, they ought to at least pick up their mess and let the populace alone for a bit. "All right, I'll pick up the specs when we stop by to haul the junkheap away and all that." He informed Alice.

"But what are we gonna put her in the meantime, Cass?" Jack said. and what are we gonna do with this? Jack was still examining the sniper rifle right down to the scope. this rifle was an impressive peice of work.

[Corv, you need to work a tad on puntuation marks, it's hard soemtimes to tell where your character's speech begins and ends.]

"We're OBVIOUSLY going to confiscate the gun, Moron. You know the rules on lethality." Backarat said in his usual condensing tone. "Use that mushy thing between your ears, you MIGHT come to some of these obvious answers on your own." He continued, as if it was an effort just to talk to Jack in the first place.

Cassius had walked off to the side in order to avoid his talktative squad. "Thanks or, but I don't think this town can handle us for a night." Cassius joked, recalling the building Falcon lit on fire.

"Hey mate, no reason to be a jackass about it." Reaper commented on Backarat's mood. "No pun intended Jack." He smiled under his mask and laughed a little inside.

Oracle laughed and exited hotelfinder. "Hey its your call boss man. Look Terry needs some help. I've got him running errands with Mr. Freeze. Contact me if you need me. Oracle, out." She said closing her frequency.

[Is Freeze still kicking? In Batman Beyond, he was a head in a jar for all but one episode in which he died anyways.]

"I AM a jackass, it's what I do." Backarat said, shrugging his shoulders as Cass clicked off and went back to his group. He eyed the Sniper curiously before turning his gaze back to his squad. "I think w eneed to temporarily split up- We need to investigate the disapearances, but at the same time, we can't let a find like this wait. Any volunteers to either go to metropolis or continue the investigation?" He aske dhis squad, figuring he'd give them the option instead of giving the order. "I'll head to metropolis." Backarat said blandly, as if it was a chore. Jenga, of course, asked for the oposite. "I'll resume the mission." He said. Cassius looked at his team. "Anyone else?"

(Oooh late posting...)

Dani would have liked to go to Metropolis, but so far only one person had kept to the mission. Better to keep things fair and even, she decided. "Mission." She muttered, giving the sniper a sideways look.

[We still need Corv........]

Zero had woke up because he had been- once again- woken up by Davis making his fifth trip to the bathroom that night. He took a stiff yawn and clopped downstairs real quick, Careful not to wake up Ivy. He shooed Davis off to bed- he snuck into the fmaily room to try and watch family dude. He hadn't bothered to put his prosthetic arm on before coming down stairs- he didn't plan to be up that long. He quickly grabbed a glass of watter and, to kill time, grabbed his phone. For the heck of it, he decided to text luna and see if she was up:

Yo, Lu, r u up?

One benefit of being in the employ of the president was you could get from place to place pretty damn fast. After the sonic craft landed at an airfeild near the Bay household, it wasn't much for one Jacob Canderous to hop a cab and stoll up to their house. It was getitng lat,e but jusdging by an indignant call of how Jade had cheated- agan- at the video game she was playing, he knew they were all awake. He knocked on the door and waited for an answer......

Zero should have felt bad about bugging Lu, but he had done it for over 2 decades now, he had no shame. He was used to texting with just one arm, so he casually plinked at the keys and sent the next masage:

I thought u would b desperatley missing me, so I decided to bug you. It's already been a whole whopping week since we last saw each other in person.

i m hurt, HURT. O, when r u coming over to teach Davey again? He tried 2 turn his batwater to soda after he looked in ur books.

Ever since Davis had looked into Luna's books last time they were over, had been constantly trying to transform stuff. it never worked, but Zero felt he needed a tutor before he actually DID get it right.

[resumed o-O]

"Allright. I'll Take charge of the Main mission. Everyone going to Metropolis, I'm putting......" He thought for a second about whom it owuld be best to put in charge of the Metropolis mission. "......Dommino in Charge." He said after some deliberation. She seemed to have a good enough head on her shoulders to take charge of the squad members going with her. "We'll get the rustpile working again and take that to Detroit to investigate the crime scene." Cassius said. They had that second transport, might as well put it to use......

Falcon had his sniper scope aimed right between the orange- eyed girl's eyes. One pull of the triger and it would be done. Perched on a rooftop, nobody would be able to catch him untill he was halfway to Jump city. But as he was about to pull the gun's trigger, his comm. went off. It was his boss, that bonehead Skull. "I HOPE this is important." He growled. "I'll RIP YOUR GUTS OUT if you have that attitude with me!!" The skull barked. Rude and allways pissed about nothing in particular, it was at least obvious that this wasn't an impostor. "I do hope, for your sake, you haven't dealt with that sniper. Lest you want to explain to Nacht just why you dusted off a litmus." Skull threatened. Falcon nearly sh*t a brick. "THAT is a Litmus?" He asked, suprised. "Yes. Your ONE purpose in life is to get her back. You have five terminators at your disposal- i suggest you use them." "But What about Powers?" "Leave him to me, I'll handle Powers." SKull grunted, hanging up. Great, a litmus. Falcon's job just got that much more of a pain......

Dommino nodded and took hold of the sniper. "Gotcha, Cass. I'll keep in touch and keep you updated. Also, did you guys find out what happened to Falcon? Knowing Phoenix, they might try and get to the sniper." she said.

After a long day of helping teach the rookie down at the station, Robert drove up to his home just in time to see Jacob knocking on his house. "Hey man, what are you doing here?" he was too tired to really think about why Jacob was here, having not known the events that had happened. "And this late?" he yawned.
