So; I'm not sure if it was because of us, people like us, or just the fact that the characters were awesome, but.




Teen Titans is back-kinda

Am I the only one who has a problem with the art? It looks like Teen Titans went Billy & Mandy.

Teen Titans never had the most... intensive art style, though it reminds me more of that new M.A.D. show than Billy and Mandy.

True, but it seemed to heavily be influenced by japanese anime, this feels to be more americanized without the feeling of an actual comic book style. Things seem too colorful, a little too saturated. Too simplistic, I don't feel that any of the action scenes are working. Granted, it does seem to do a better job than the entire fight taking place in front of a blue swishy background.

The New Teen Titans shorts shares more resemblance with the show.

I think it might be because they're trying to downplay the super heroics and 'focus on the "funny business" that happens between the Teen Titans when not saving the world and when living together as teenagers without adult supervision.'

The action scenes do remind me much more of the Go! comics too; they very much have that sort of choppy-scene by scene set up that the comics have to do because they're print.

Still it is just a promo, the animation might be smoother in the real show.

I still can't believe that description got past the censors.

Oh I'm positive it'll look smoother, but it's just the art direction seems to have strayed very far from what Teen Titans use to be. It went from americanized anime to something that resembles something farted out in a month like My Gym Partner is a Monkey.

So, in recent news. Terra is going to be appearing in the next episode of Teen Titans Go! and rumor has it Slade will be showing up shortly there after. (He's listed as being voiced in ep 12. I think this next one coming up is 11)

In more important news. Terra is going to be evil! Yes she's going to be using Beast Boy's emotions as a means of infiltrating the Titans, heartlessly toying with the green teen's feelings in order to complete an antagonistic agenda. Just like she did in the comics!

That's pretty sick! Someone asked Hynden Walch if Terra would make an appearance and she honestly tight lipped about it.

Not gonna' lie, GO! is kind of a guilty pleasure of mine. Maybe it's the nostalgia, maybe it's because they're from what I can tell all the original voices, but Bringing in a less sympathetic and more diabolical Terra down on top of BB's smitten head sounds cruel-ly hilarious... DON'T TELL MYKAN!!!!! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T TELL MYKAN!!!!

One thing I don't like is how Robin is doing crack cocain. His character is super wacky.

I dunno, I find crackhead/ ocd Robin mildly amusing. WAY out of character, but I think that makes it funnier.

He wacked off the wack-o-meter. I feel that even though it's a more light hearted show, it doesn't he shouldn't be his character anymore. They can find ways of making him funny without turning him into junky that doesn't have any sentient thought.

This might be because I've just worked 14.5 hours; but I find the term 'Wacked off the wack-o-meter' hilarious.

And only partially because of the alternate meaning of 'wack off'
It's an old term for male masturbation.

This episode of Teen Titans Go! has the Titans visiting the Bat-cave; and what I personally thought was hilarious, Robin literally drooling over Starfire (in a Batgirl costume).
