Teen Titans is back?

Hey all. For those who remember me, hello - it's been way too long; for those who don't, I can't say I really care...

omg i saw that too! thats why i came back to this forum it used to be about teen titans i was wondering if it still is or not. the look has changed so i guess not. but that is soooo cool if it does come back i think it will come back since IGN said it would. but i think its gonna be short clips. which is better than nothing i guess.

Ghost! Yeah they had some recording sessions. It's apart of DC's new block DC Nation. It's only shorts though. Couldn't be longer than 10-15 minutes.

Awww I don't think they will be able to do the series justice without any of the seriousness...

Yeah, I think I'll be missing that too, I do really love comedy but all the angsty Slade/Trigun stuff made it really worth watching because it was according to the original plot..

Truth be told I'm not all that shocked that the titans are coming back- with all the new comedy stuff on DC nation, I had this gut feeling that something else would be following it up sooner or later. Granted I can't say I'm 100% crazy about it being all a chucklefest, but I guess we'll see what time brings.

Congratulations! Teen Titans has returned, sapped of everything that made it great and reduced to its core components! What's that? You watched it for the compelling characters, drama, storytelling and depth? Well, Cartoon Network wants you to know that they do not care one iota what you think, because they're taking all that garbage out and making it all about the chibi sight gags and anime knock-off humor! Because THAT'S WHAT MADE THE ORIGINAL SHOW SUCCESSFUL, AMIRITE?!

Now sit back, relax, and enjoy Teen Titans the way it was meant to be seen: as a low-budget series of chibi caricatures who resemble various things I've passed from my body! And don't turn off the TV when it's done, because you'll miss their next big hit, THE ANNOYING ORANGE.

Right off the bat, I said that if Teen Titans came back, it would be utterly different from what it was. Even when I'm wrong, I'm right!

I suppose on the bright side we won't have to suffer though any more poor representations of classic DC villains like Deathstroke, Dr. Light, and the others. From what I hear they won't actually go on missions anymore.

Though from what I do hear the stories will be focusing on 'The funny business that happens when you're a group of teenagers living alone without any adult supervision.'

Even their press releases are poorly written...

Group of teenagers growing up without supervision...? That's how they're describing the show?

I believe the exact quote, appearing in both the link I gave and Rianna's is "Teen Titans Go! features the return of Robin, Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy and Cyborg in all-new, comedic adventures. Character-driven comedy is the order of the day as this new take on the super hero series focuses on the funny business that happens between saving the world and living together as teenagers without adult supervision."

It's the 'funny business that happens living together as teenagers without adult supervision' that seems poorly worded to me. Though I have to admit, I think Garfield taking up marijuana while Robin & Starfire play bunnies in the bedroom would make an interesting episode.
